If you're interested in knowing more about Joi Lansing...please check out my book, "Joi Lansing...A Body To Die For. A Love Story Alexis Hunter on Amazon. com
Alex Hunter I'm reading it now! It's absolutely beautiful! You two were so lucky to have known/loved each other. I just know I'm going to be crying buckets at the end of the book.
Joi was always one of my favorite ladies who never quite made it as big as she should have. Astonishing talent - gorgeous voice. Your book is a wonderful tribute to her.
This sort of defines weirdness. Joi is singing with a Broadway/nightclub style which is incongruous against that funky arrangement. And what can you say about the visuals?
This is one of the many 'better' examples of 'kitsch'! [:-)] A self parody but being amazingly sexy at the same time! Bravo! .....well it is to ME anyway....hee hee. [:-)]
This ''love'' song has a very dreary melody. I love it. And the video is a bit on the tacky & creepy side. It matches the song perfectly. Don't know much about Joi Lansing, but she wasn't a bad singer. Superb voice.
+"Whyyyyy you..!" Joi Lansing made her career as the buxom blonde in many a TV show throughout the '50s and '60s (including I Love Lucy!). Sadly, she died at 43 from breast cancer.
I absolutely love everything about this.
It’s so entirely bad....and I love every second. Joi was amazing.
That's hot.
My favorite part about this is how apathetic she sounds and acts throughout the whole song

Great looking woman. Great fun to see this.

That was the 1960s for you.
Someone should make a "MAKING OF" feature length film about Joi and the day this was made.
Starring a drag queen.. I'm on it
Well..... This is a hot mess!
She was totally hot. RIP
Used as a clip in the intro of Cinema Insomnia episodes. Also shown at least once in full during one episode's "intermission" segment.
Uncle Jed sent me here
So bad it's awful!
Nothing like the 60s style of music that today’s music can’t even touch.
She's pretty intense!
She guest starred on the "Beverly Hillbillies" with Flatt and Scruggs. Gorgeous.
how about THE SILENCER?
hahahahahahahahahahaha I love where the dart hits the cardboard heart she's wearing.
Mrs. Superman !
I wonder what the seven thumbs down expected to see. There are always drunks wobbling in and leaving, muttering and shaking their fists
They went out to the alley and came back with a couple other white port soaked compadres
More like the sober, who NEED to get a little drunk and chill out with some great mid-century B-movie sexiness! :-)

first saw thus in the eighties and we busted a gut, but the lyrics got a little risqué for the fifties and the guy is what pushing 50, lol....
Va-va Voom
She was hot..
Phenomenal!
It's sad to know that in about 10 years after the filming of this, Joi's most well-known assets would kill her. Rest in Peace, Ms. Lansing. -.-
She would be dead within 7 years, actually(this musical film short was done in '65; Joi died in early August of' 72).
This song and video are terrible.
It's so bad, it's almost laughable.
cinema insomnia brought me here.
Doesn't get better than this.
Joi Lancing was a classy and intelligent lady.
Fetish themes: catwomen, jungle girls, giant spider web, cannibal pot, woman in cage, bird woman (siren), cavegirl costume, snake theme

It's not dreary, it's sleazy like burlesque
Aka "Trapped in the web of love"
So dated it almost looks like a SNL parody.
1:51
Left side, dancing girl .Looks like a Barbie
Soap-A-Delic!
High Camp.
love this, retro sexy weird
Looks like a screen test for "Sheena Queen of the Jungle. The Musical"
Started my teen age pimples popping. Thanks
The Web Of Love;)
C'est déjà dépassé et ça prête à rire!
well that was awful
Ummmmm....wth is this ?
Cute girl but terrible singer.
Can't you make that SCOPITONES.COM bug bigger? I can still see the video
Hear, hear!
That guy playing the witch doctor looks familiar. Is that Dick Miller? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Miller
