  • Tia Knuth, with the Equitable Accelerated Learning (ALK-8) Project, shows how she's helping recreate math education for second graders to make the process more joyful and creative. Tia and her teaching partner, Matthew Marchyok, are Leads in an ALK-8 Working Group and will present at the statewide summit on August 6-7, 2024.
The ALK-8 partnership between Oregon State University’s College of Education and the Oregon Department of Education supports hundreds of teachers and teacher leaders as they spearhead efforts to identify and help reverse inequities in the state’s educational systems exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
