Dr. Kathryn McIntosh, Associate Professor with the College of Education, discusses the premise behind her book, MINDFULNESS IN MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION: CRITICAL RACE FEMINIST PERSPECTIVES. She details how mindfulness can be used to help university students deal with emotionally difficult subjects such as racism, sexism and trauma both in their studies and in their lives.
