I'm guessing the minimum score run will consist of needing to beat as much of the coinless run route as possible on a single mini mushroom powerup to avoid score gain from switching powerups, and also make not killing enemies easier. Also, lots and lots of staring at flagpoles.
Ceave, have you ever considered making a “cookbook” of Mario Maker contraptions? A video where you show us, step-by-step, how to make things like Schrodinger’s Noteblock and Hidden Shelmet Timers? I know they’re relatively simple, but it would be a good reference video for beginner Mario Maker players.
Once you watch enough of Ceave's videos, especially ones where he uses tricks regarding hitboxes, you tend to get a feel for sneaky tricks. I knew the mini mushroom hitbox would be able to squeeze through the larger gaps at the end before he said it :3
They're a little bit formulaic. Not that that's a bad thing, especially with RUclips. But, by this point we all know that if he says there's this one terrible thing you can't do, and there's 3 minutes left in the video, he's going to do it.

I get that coins add up to your score quite quickly, and good job on avoiding them all, but... As for the lowest score run in NSLU, it feels like there are areas where it's outright better to take coins than not to take them, as killing ennemies adds to your score quite faster (see 5:50 for an example), so will you stick to the coinless strategy, or adapt in that case? You're guaranteed to get a low score in both cases, but I was wondering whether you're going to adapt your route and weigh in ennemy-killing score when deciding whether or not to take a coin or keep the coinless one and try to work around it to minimize the score you can get through a coinless run. Either way, I wish you luck and a lot of patience.

In all honesty, I keep waiting for someone to make a coinless video like this that actually _fails_ as a proof of concept. Not like I want to see everyone disappointed at that and all, but 99% of the "Is it possible to..." Mario videos end in a yes and that amount of predictability sort of sullies the magic of this trend in my eyes. Nevertheless, congrats on seeing this through, Ceave!
I mean, just having failed runs for the sake of variety would feel even more cheap in my eyes, a succesful run with hours hard work and practice put into is more valuable to me than a failed run that only ended because the guy felt it was probably impossible without even really testing it much. I mean, failed runs where the player genuinely has nk clue how to progress are fine to me, but if they can pull it off with practice and they got time then why not do it? It's gonna end up happening anyway if a proof of concept gets released, giving up on it for no reason makes the video almost like a filler episode.

Mario videos end in a yes and that amount of predictability sort of sullies the magic of this trend in my eyes.

I mean, just having failed runs for the sake of variety would feel even more cheap in my eyes, a succesful run with hours hard work and practice put into is more valuable to me than a failed run that only ended because the guy felt it was probably impossible without even really testing it much. I mean, failed runs where the player genuinely has nk clue how to progress are fine to me, but if they can pull it off with practice and they got time then why not do it? It's gonna end up happening anyway if a proof of concept gets released, giving up on it for no reason makes the video almost like a filler episode.
