One thing I love about buffy is not all characters were good or bad-even some vampires weren't bad. Buffy lived in shades of grey she killed vampires for selfish reasons, she used both spike and riley ( though i think its because she gave everything to angel and truly loved him but he became angelus now buffy has trouble letting people in blah blah blah) and she didnt recognise that the scobies felt uneeded. But all the chracters has so much depth I mean willow had a magic addiction went to far and zander constantly made mustakes (but learned from them). They were growing and the traumatic experiences shaped them to be who they were glaws and all. Which the show touched up on but the characters were so dynamic. You got attached to them but they made mistakes and you were justifying them. Buffy also had changing views and morals. She was terrified what people would think about her and spike becausd she was only a young sdult forced to grow up to fast (probly why she changed her hair lots euther to be in control and she was still finding herself) she was confused on who she was and becsuse she was still a teenager basically she wanted to be what she thought other people wanted her to be. She didn't kill vampires for " selfish " reason BUT for selfless reasons to save other people's lives! She could never be selfish and that was the reason she was so torn. A lot of people died like her mom so she was afraid of losing people
I think it was very sad that Buffy never saw Spike really as a true love interest (in my opinion). She kinda used Spike and just when she started to develop feelings, the show already ended. So sad, I wish I saw more of their romantic development....
Totally! But as much as I love them together and truly believed that she did love him in the end, ultimately the main point of the show was about her journey as a slayer, and not who her main love interest would be. I’m not so sure how impactful it would’ve been to add in another season or two of them being a real couple, just to show that they could be. Maybe another season would be good so they could’ve avoided rushing their story as well as the other issues in season 7. But oh well. Just gonna have to be okay with knowing they’re together in the comics!
Could you do Cangel's love story too? They are my second fave Buffyverse ship & one of my top ships still. I wish I could like Bangel but can't b/c I love SpuffCan too much. I can't believe how long your vids for Bangel are. I didn't think their parts could be that long honestly unless you included a lot of other stuff than them in it. I think I speak for all Buffy fans when I say thanks for making everything you have already though. 😍

Spike comes in in season 2, episode 3 "School Hard" So from season 2, we have clips from School Hard, Halloween, Lie to Me, What's My Line, and Becoming. Then Spike leaves town, but comes back for one episode in season 3, "Lover's Walk." Then comes back in season 4 beginning in "Harsh Light of Day" (showing up at a college party with Harmony). In this video, season 5 clips start with episode 3 "The Replacement" when Spike makes the Buffy mannequin from stuff he found at the dump. Hope that answers your question!
