Make sure to watch PART 1 first where I crossbreed Pintos with Crystal Red and Black shrimp: ruclips.net/video/3tQnWR3PSO8/видео.html In this video, I cross breed F1 Mischlings with pinto shrimp to boost my pinto colony and improve my shrimp genetics at the same time! I mixed my F1 mischling females with pinto males in a separate shrimp tank and now they start to breed! ❤ My OTHER RUclips channel - ruclips.net/channel/UCn27JThScJPvOUvJQ8ZhcFg
Great video sir. You have some gorgeous shrimp. The half sided shrimp are interesting looking. There’s lots of animals who have split genes, I’ve heard of it referred to as chimera. Usually these individual animals are sterile and cannot reproduce. I hope all the shrimp settle in nicely and you have no issues!
@@ShrimpMania watched this video again 😉 how did the shrimp do transitioning to the new tank? I’ve noticed sometimes when moving large colonies to a new tank you’ll have losses.
@@PoseidonsPets Kyle you don't have to spend an entire day watching my crappy videos🤣 but thank you for that! I didn't notice big losses maybe a shrimp or two within a week after I move them, but I think it's normal. My water is almost the same in all the tanks maybe that's why they handle it well.
Great video! I’m about to take a trip away and have asked a friend to look after my tanks too, after watching this I’ll have to remind him if he sees any uneaten food not to feed them, he’s not crazy into shrimps like me so doesn’t understand the tricks of the trade
Thanks Jason, also tell him about dead shrimp and ask him to take it out from the tank if he sees any, I didn't tell my friend about it and he didn't do it
Quite an interesting and informative video. I'm trying to figure out golden galaxy fishbone and also to solidify my orange eye red tiger so they will be thicker lines. Fun projects ahead! Can't wait for next video update! Great work!!
Let it rain shrimp. So cool to see how many there are in your tanks. I have a tank that turned into an experiment tank. I accidentally mixed red wines and aurora blues. At first I got some wild looking shirmp, but now getting some really cool mix colors after a generation or two. I am going to let the tank just go for awhile. Those lights are really cool. Great DIY project.
Hey Steve, that's interesting project you have crossing red wines and aurora blues, let me know if you can share some picture on fb or Instagram I would love to see them. Glad you like my light and thanks for watching man!
They are blue bolts/blue steels - sometimes they popping out even in my pinto galaxy tank. They can have a pinto gene as well and can breed some interesting shrimps.
If you're talking about the deep-blue shrimp, he mentioned that they were left over "blue dream" shrimp. They're neocaridina and wont mix with the caridina species, even though they look alike.
Nice video, topic and project. Also just to clear a few things up... crystal x taiwan bee = mischlings. Crystal x Pinto is not a mischling. Crystals and taiwan bee are the same species, where a Pinto would have mariae or serrata genetics in it. As well, crossing crystals into pintos is not likely to get you much more genetic variation. We are talking about hybrids already which are much more genetically diverse than a pure species, and tigers (mariae and serrata both) are known for being extremely hardy... and are often kept in Neocaridina parameters successfully. This is more along the lines of a weird galaxy tiger type project. Galaxy tiger would be Fancy Tiger (crystal coloring with tiger patterning) x Galaxy Fishbone (taiwan bee coloring, and serrata hybrid genes). Seems like the biggest thing here is adding in a lot more white patterning similar to crystals and FT lines but also aiming for TB coloring.

I am pretty new in this field and just have some cute cherry red and jelly blue shrimps. Today I discovered a black shrimp in my tank and was amazed by the fact that such a color can come out from my mixed cherry and jelly group. After watching your video I feel excited to discover more. Is it actually realistic to earn here some money with?
This is my next plan once my tank cycles. I want a mixed caradina with limited culling. Any recommendations on which few kinds I should mix? I have a few idea but would appreciate your opinion.
I would mix all type of Taiwan bees - blue bolts, pandas, king kongs with them you can also mix pintos as well and their babies will be all type of pintos/taiwan bees. I wouldn't mix simple caridina like crystal shrimp/tigers/aura shrimp with pintos taiwan bees unless you do it like in the video with culling all simple caridina males and bring back mischling female into the tank
@@ShrimpMania thank you! Yeah I have tigers I don't plan on that. Just wanted an idea which was similar to what I was thinking! Awesome videos by the way!
I'm going to do a video in a couple of week about soil. My soil is starting to expire in most of my tanks so I have to change it. I had experience with ADA old version and new version but I'm not happy with ph if be honest it's close to 6. I normally mixed it 50/50 ADA with Ista PH 5.5 to get PH at around 5.7-5.8. Next time I will try only ista ph 5.5 but I think it might not last for very long

Great looking tank. The blue shrimp, are they Aura Blue Tigers? If so what is the benefit of having them in this colony?

Would you say mixing tangerine tigers into a pinto colony results in “mischlings” that could help diversify their genetics?

Stunning 😍
I want to cross tangerine tigers with blue bolts. Would you just colony breed them or put females of one with males from the other?
I would put some females of one type to the colony of another then you can separate f1 babies, you should see the difference

wow I wish I could these colors this is one awesome shrimp tank like 119
Thank you very much!
Realy cool,im thinking of starting a ,chamera ,halfsider tank to 🍀🦐🌿😎👍
Thanks George, that would be cool, I hope to see it on your channel!
What do you label these when reselling? Do you sell on ebay?
Nope I don't sell shrimp no time for that
After watching this video for the 8th time. I really think I need more shrimp tanks. What's your fav dimensions and size? 80l?
haha, I know that you have mts like me. I like medium size 60L long and large 90L
Hello, what is your aquarium sizes thanks?
I have 50 L tanks and 90L as well
Hey I also mixed some red and black pinto shrimp with my black and red crystal tank. Do the matching shrimp sell for anything?
You can sell them as hybrids explaining that they can through out some pintos but the price would be same as regular crystal reds/black
What soil you recommend frend ? For caridina

nice vid i subbed
Appreciate!
I LOVE SHRIMP
Me too!
Please breed shrimp boa
A planted tank with cryptocoryne nurri would look nice
Sounds great, I like the pink one!
What size are your main tanks?
Also do you need to have a layer of substrate when doing the UGF method? Can you not just leave bare bottom?
My tanks on the rack are 50L 35x40(d)x35(H) You don't need to have a soil at the bottom you can leave a bare bottom, I just add some soil for esthetic
@@ShrimpMania thanks, I was getting worried All though it’s been like that for 6 months. It does show how much they poop!
Yes it would be easy to vacuumed poops without soil
When u do the new aquariums dont forget to make video step by step please 🤣🤣🤣
I’m actually doing it right now. Coming soon😉
