Rinne (Rih-nay) refers to the Buddhist concept of the circle of life (birth, life, death, reincarnation to the next life cycle). This song, however, is a bit dark as it is about an individual who is sick of experiencing the reincarnation aspect and just wants to escape it.
It's actually based on the eponymous horror movie, in which a man was mass-murdering people while filming their last moment on the 8mm camera. Later he replayed it, and looked for any signs of reincarnation they are going to experience. That's a very short description, of course, but that's what some Japanese fans told us about it. I have not seen this movie myself. Miku has definitely converted this plot into a very philosophical poem.

i discovered on first listen to band maid [ real existence in 2016] that i did not give one crap about the songs being mostly in japanese. most of their songs have some english mixed in. the music absolutely blew me away and that was that. japanese power metal girl group LOVEBITES do all of their songs in english cuz the vocalist lived in the states for 2 years and learned it pretty well. best metal band i've heard in over 30 years with 2 lead guitarists that shred better than anybody out there right now
There is a person who is displaced in the video, do they have the same problem as us friend, a hug here from Boa Vista - Roraima - Brazil, here the average temperature is 33º, but lately it is 25º, for me it's cold
To be honest, I have utterly no idea what the English speaking singers are saying in 99% of any punk rock/metal songs anyway, especially if they are simply doing the generic guttural screaming that seems to be written in stone for that genre. At least with Band-Maid, you actually do get some English words in virtually all of their songs, and a lot of the time they will have them written in the video, lol
