Nowadays the Rohri-Karachi line is pretty damaged, allowing a normal speed of just 70-80kmph, some streches like Lakha Road-PadIdan, and Hyderabad-Karachi get to 120kmph but the rest of track is really slow, especially between Baandhi and Nawabshah

For the past week, I've been watching videos of train travel in Pakistan. While I'm quite thrilled to see people in my neighbouring country travel by train, I observed the following: Trains in Pakistan are still hauled by diesel engines!! Some of the stations came as a disappointment, eg :- Hyderabad Junction!! Frankly I was expecting something far bigger and with more people on the platforms. Lastly, compared to India, I noticed that on the platforms, there are far fewer women travellers!
The signaling system is old just from Rohri to lower Sindh and Balochistan, the rest of Pakistan is computerized LED signals... And the slow take-off is due to Rohri being a major Junction... once the train gets on mainline (after Rohri) the pickup on rest of the stations is amazing. The train takes just a minutes to cross 60kmph

The signalling system of Pakistan railways is very old!!!! And also trains are very slow.they take alot of time time to gain speed of 60km/h
