- For the second episode of our "Built For" series, we sat down with Jonathan Menocal, a 8-year officer with the Miami-Dade Police Department. Menocal has assisted in developing the intense training program around the MDPD Special Response Team (SRT), and walked us through the process he uses to approach training- both mentally and gear wise.

I went to the Pistol Fundamentals 1 and 2 courses at the Staccato Ranch and purchased a Staccato P Heritage edition last month, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase and experience! The 2011 shoots like a dream. I've carried and sworn by .40 S&W polymer Walthers for nearly two decades - but now I don't want to carry anything other than a Staccato 2011 ever again - which is a testament to the platform, and the Staccato level of quality and precision craftsmanship. I'm planning on attending their red dot courses and Fundamentals 3 early next year and can't recommend the experience enough. If you have a chance to get out to purchase a Staccato, or make it out to the Staccato Ranch and Range, don't hesitate!

where did you hear this? at the end of the day 99% of people actually using these weapons are using glocks and sigs in 9mm and 556 chambered AR's.
