Army is king of cadence. The other branches can't compete with singing soldiers. I should know. I was army Fort Sill in 1982, and at the Marine detachment Fort Lee in 1987. 🇺🇸
I was in that same Batallian for my AIT! Tango Company, Whiskey Company, Bravo Company, and some others. But that white building that passes was JCCOE. I was in Tango Company, Oct 8-Dec 17.
The hell all these recruits can't even march. All kinds of people out of step. *edit* 0:46 omfg I just realized these recruits even more fk'd up. The uniform of the day in this formation looks like a soup sandwich. Soldiers of Nations belonging to the EU, march better than those belonging to the United States Army. The armies of EU member nations are also more homogeneous than our own. Just saying.
@@jed-henrywitkowski6470 Fun fact the EU didn't win The Cold War, WW1 nor WW2 w/o America doing a lot of heavy lifting. Homogeneous.....that sounds like a page out of an infamous nation's WW2 playbook.

Only I hade to walk in diamond fortation and actually had to march. I don't see anyone marching. I can't hear there feet. I would of had to do punishment for not stomping and marching.
I went into the Army after being in the Marine Corps. We stepped off to march and I was like the hell is this? That was when I realized the Army doesn't really march. You didn't dare look at the ground or look around when we marched...many times we would just march 10 to 15 steps and the MTI would stop the flight and say Cover.. and then he would say we will march this way until you get your gear in one sock...except he didn't say gear...you figure out the word he used. We got pretty good...better than this...and we were Air Force.

I was a Marine, but i agree...covers at all kind of angles, boots (@1:03) looking all around....Gunny Olds would have uhm...i can't say in today's soft world what he would have done
None of the cadence we did could be shown on RUclips.

Brings back fond memories of basic at Ft. Knox in 1984. Damn I'm getting old.

My Daughter did her AIT at Ft. Lee for Graves Detail.I am so proud of her, she did 10 years Pa Army National Guard ❤
I never heard cadence anywhere in the Army like we did it at Ft Lee, I was there 98-99
This is one of the best ones that I’ve seen.
Yep not the same way we sung those cadences at my company. It’s cool seeing how everyone is trained differently. But 11B all the way!

Because marching to the schoolhouse in AIT really has a huge impact on combat effectiveness.
@@Underthehood402 yes, it literally builds discipline, esprit de corps, etc etc etc. or whatevs

Awesome
Do you all carry your rifles while marching?
Southern Man so during the field you get issued weapons
At Basic Combat Training you do. At AIT, you usually are not issued weapons.
Except of course if you’re infantry. Then it’s rifle/240/249 from beginning to end
Fort Lee hoooah!
Y’all going to the PX. Looks like Alpha company. Alpha avengers
I wonder at 5:13 how many of them were tempted to run straight over to that Burger King?
On the weekends we are allowed to go eat at the PX or Burger King lol

I see a guy bouncing. Hasn't learned to march from the waist down yet. Should have fixed that in boot camp.
What happened to everyone being the same? Why do some have their gortex strapped to their hydration pack and some don’t? Really aggravating.
This is an atrocious example of marching
