After lot of videos I seen I just point out something that the people who actually write this type of comments are just for showing everyone that they love their parents but in real life they don't 😑If you really love your Parents why are you telling the public go and tell your parents that you love them so much and apologise them because of the fricken words you say them when you are in anger. BRO just tell your parents that you love them don't tell public, Public can't do anything of you love them or hate them🙄And that's all I can say to you People

      Vanora Moon LMFAO! that moment when your parents chooses religion over you is embarrassingly sad... my mom and grandparents still stuck to the spiritual side of things all their mundane lives but they never abandoned me. in fact, it's the opposite. The more they believe in religion the more they can't abandon me, for out of fear they will be punished by god for forsaking family lmfao... only problem with that is that they constantly live with that mentality, but they never force it on me... tho they will pray for me on my behalf if I reject said beliefs tho...

    I had 2 sons who I loved & cared for until they both grew up into men & left my home. They both returned in their 30's, after my divorce with the intent to sponge off me & live here in my home for free. After several weeks of their excuses for being unable to clean up after themselves, or help me with yard work, or assist me with paying the Bill's I sent them both packing, that was over 10 years ago. I didn't raise either of them to be moochers, I taught them to be independent, showed them how to cook, do laundry & keep a home clean & tidy. I made them get jobs in their teens to buy the little extras they were wanting, teaching them to work for what they want. I taught them to take pride in everything they do. I certainly won't be counting on either of them to come to my rescue in my old age. The attitude they display I see in many of the young, thinking the world owes them something & if anything goes wrong in their lives blame the parents. Bullshit !!!

    • @patriciarose2342
      @patriciarose2342 3 года назад +1

      I am sorry that this is your experience. Unfortunately most children have not been raised well or even taken care of by good parents. Even in the last 40-50 years. Most children were neglected and expected to raise themselves. Then their parents come to them when they're older and say "after all I've done for you..." With their hand out.

    • @patriciarose2342
      @patriciarose2342 3 года назад

      @Ricky Barber interesting you talk about an entire part of the country being a bad place. That sounds more discriminating than what I said. But I have been all over this country, and other countries. I never said parents were moochers. I don't even use that word. But what I've seen and what I know of the last couple of generations and the way children have been raised, yes I would say parents have been remarkably neglectful. But when the children grow up they are expected to "give back". Give back what? Pre tell. Maybe you don't concern yourself with the real world but please don't wrap it in religion or self-righteousness.

    • @patriciarose2342
      @patriciarose2342 3 года назад

      @Ricky Barber yes I did say that. But people don't just live in one part of the country or another. They can move or send their children away to another part. So I have seen it both in the city and the country. I'm saying, there's what we should do; "honour and respect your parents", and then there's "what parents?". It sounds cold but like I said if parents haven't been around or they are around and do squat to raise their children - as the LORD commanded, then what is there to honour. It's sad but that is the common theme of the last 2 generations. I've lived in one city where the common theme there was that most of my generation there was raised by their grandparents because the birth parents simply took off. That is the world we live in now. I agree it's definitely for lack of God. Peace.

    This was very touching indeed! Few days back I had a very brutal argument with mother, because she said some really derogatory and demoralising stuff in context of me not being able to get any job so far and that i should rather die than being a disgrace to my family, in response to which I cried bitterly and vowed that from that moment on I'll never consider her my mother. And that bitterness lingers inside me and grows even more with each passing day. But I remember how my father took care of my grandpa in his early 90s, from feeding grandpa to doing his dirty laundry to cleaning him and his soiled bedsheets, tolerating his mood swings no matter how rude they were, my grabdpa passed away in 2012, aged 93, but his peaceful body, his face beaming with contentment and his beautiful smile as he lay dead, said it all! It moves me, that despite of living in a world where children and parents lose emotional connection so fast, the fast-lane life, we still have people who value their old parents so much. I too had severe issues with my father when I was in my teens, but now as I grew up, I feel extremely blessed to have a father like him, and I wish I also become like him in life. And watching this video I realized that no matter how much bitterness prevails between me and mother, nothing will change the truth that I owe her my life, and its my duty to be there for her all the time. 😇😇😇😇😇😇

      Parents are parents no matter what thats true, but there is no justification for abusive words and behavior. There is no justification for what your mom said to you and she had no right to say that. But i also agree that she still deserves to be respected and loved. Also parents tend to say a lot of garbage and shit they dont mean. I bet your mom did not mean those words. I have suffered from toxic and hurtful words from my parents yet still forgive them and treat them with respect, love and kindness knowing despite their fuck ups nobody will love me like they do.

I think that is enough difference to cause distinct behaviors. There are many similarities like they need proper health care/checkups and proper food and appropriate treatment but that doesn't cause them behave same.

She gets mad at me for not telling her, even though I have told her multiple times. When I took her with me to the doctors office she thought I was there to join a club. When old age hits you, your brain becomes slower in processing things and grasping facts. That's why many a times children and old people are said to be of the same mental age.
      I know you meant that thing as a joke but some people take it literally and think that the concept behind the video is dumb. But on some finer analysis one can understand it's true meaning.

      This is a beautiful message and yes you should be respectful of old people (not just your father). But, comparing the innocence of a 3-year-old to that of a mental decline of old people is not appropriate. Since a 3-year-old never knew before what a crow is and is new to learning it, but old people know what it is but have a difficult time remembering what he/she just said (seems like Alzheimer's in this case). Therefore, old or not, you should also be respectful of people with mental disabilities of all kind and be glad that you don't have them.

    My parents were married 62 yrs when my mother died. Four and one-half years later my father died. While my mother was sick, she could not even recognize her son. She asked several times who he was, she knew his face but not his name. Not once did I yell at her, shame on that son. I loved both my parents dearly but during their illnesses and dying, my caring for them, they became my BEST friends. I miss them every since day since 2007 and 2011. I only wish I had more time with them.

    No one is perfect...no one. As a parent, I did the very best I could in my situation with what I knew at the time. Had I known better, I would have done better. I worked full time, took care of my two sons, cleaned the house and made sure they were always safe. In the meantime living with an abusive husband. I am no longer with that man, thank God and still try to do my best. Sometimes to no avail. But such is Life...move on...I doubt that my sons will be there when I need them...I have asked in the past that all I want from them is their time and company...those wishes falling on deaf ears. I continue to pray for a change of Heart in them, each and every day for the rest of my Life 🙏
