When you applied the Diffuse Glow filter it boosted the highlights, but I did when following along, it did the complete opposite, it made the highlights completely black, I have no idea how to fix it, any idea of why that happens?

    7. Duplique novamente a camada "Antes" e arraste-a para o topo.
    9. Agrupe as três camadas superiores e mude o modo de mesclagem do grupo para Sobrepor. Isso criará o efeito HDR básico.
    12. Agrupe as três camadas superiores e mude o modo de mesclagem do grupo para Sobrepor. Isso criará um tom HDR extra.
    13. Ajuste a opacidade do grupo do tom HDR para controlar a intensidade do efeito.

    • @Pixivu

Some adjustment layers and filters don't work in 16-bit color mode or more, such as the Filter Gallery.

    • @PeterQuentercrimsonbamboo
      @PeterQuentercrimsonbamboo Год назад +1

@@Pixivu - ah..yes, of course... the reason why I have always hesitated to use those filters much and rarely open that panel... I like keeping my image files as 'clean' as possible to make large prints .. and with quite a bit of editing-manipulation sometimes getting to the edge of limits with banding and other degradation, 16 bit seems to indeed preserve the files better :-) - certainly not a right or wrong either way, just a case by case decision to make - thanks for the reminder -

Wow... are we back to unrealistic over the top HDR? Ok... maybe on Instagram... but even there if you got some serious photographers or post processors following you they laugh at you. And 8-bit images?
Sorry. I do appreciate you teaching us photoshop. It's just that i got a like early 2000's flashback. And thought maybe it needs a warning that this isnt the look any pro is going for anymore. Sure. It s art you can make it your own. And if you like this unrealistic style go for it.... just dont be frustrated if the images arent not praised by peers .
Personally I would use this only at 10% strength of what was shown here. And only on certain images. Like the Product shot (Burger).
