You inspired me to get my cdl back in august. Fast forward to today I’m making close to 30k/mo with just one truck. The barrier of entry high as shit, but if you want it you’ll find a way to succeed 💯
I MAKE 5000 A WEEK AFTER FUEL. TRUCK PAID OFF AND BOTH DRY VAN AND STEP DECK TRAILER PAID FOR. I RUN TEXAS ONLY,NO NEED FOR RUNNING OUT OF STATE ANYMORE,BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT. I RUN TX INTRASTATE AUTHORITY AND DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT AUDIT OR A DAM ELD BECAUSE TX I CAN RUN 12 HOURS A DAY OFF 8 HOURS WITH NO 30 MIN BREAK. IM LIKE THIS, HOW MUCH DO U NEED TO LIVE ON. IF I CANT LIVE OFF OF 20,000 A MONTH THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH ME.
I needed this man. Just purchased my first semi truck last week, 2014 freightliner with 247xxx miles! I hope this new journey I'm going on goes like I want it too 🙏🏽
Great content Ken! I have been hearing of teams making as much as 25k per week... This is good to hear because for many years the truck drivers have been under paid for all the hours they put in and the time away from home. Take care & God Bless.
I have a team that makes $4k per day 5 days a week and on another project they were making $4600 per day....it does happen....granted not everyday...but it happens
@@chaoscontrol6755 It's not really a level....it's just business.....who is paying you for what service and how much is that going to cost you. Been averaging around 8k a week after expenses in the flat bed game, 6 on the bad weeks and 12 on the good weeks solo. Team driving is heavily dependent on shippers unless you get long runs but there have been weeks where we moved the same freight as a solo driver over waiting hours and even days(overhead door in wv) to get loaded. Hardest part of team driving is learning how to sleep in a truck getting thrown around in the back in construction zones with janky pavement
Teaming with my wife averaging $5K weekly, 6 on a good week 4 on a bad week. You get used to the truck bouncing especially going over where the road meets a bridge, it rocks me to sleep and it took about a couple weeks.
I’m gonna buy a semi truck and hire 2 people to team drive . Looking to make that 60-70k a month . I’m gonna keep my regular job and do RUclips so I’m always making money and staying afloat . I’m really excited to be able to learn from someone that looks like me . I’m so glad we have RUclips to be able to learn from our palms . But stay blessed bro and keep dropping content 🙏🏾

I am in school right now going to take my DMV test in few weeks. I seen a truck that I want to buy and put in my driveway. I'll drive over thr road about 6 months to a year fixing up my truck little by little inside and out.

Just subscribed man love your videos an insight. I’m a team driver with my bro but we drive for a company. I been asking but no straight answer yet. After we finance a truck where or who should we run for we’re looking into driving straight 53ft trailers reefers or dry vans. We want to make bigger moves than driving for a company. Any advise would be appreciated Ken!Thanks
Yo ken appreciate the content I just turned 21 and I’m about to get my CDL I know as a owner operator it is up to you how many loads you want to book and how long you want to be on the road.I just wanted to know how often are you home personally?
Heard it's predicted that 2022 will be a though year and owner operators, small companies will be hit hard, and it's best to be a company driver in 2022. What's your thought on this matter🤔.
Doesn't look like that from where I'm sitting. I'm still a company driver. We're getting 20% raises on my job and all the companies around here are also raising their pay rate as well. I've rethought the idea of buying a truck. These only reason to now is just to have the freedom and flexibility to work when I want.
How does team drivers work, does the driver that's not driving still gets paid for just being on the job and does he the 2nd driver gets paid the same when not at the wheel?
I'm teaming with my ol lady now teaming works like this while I drive she sleeps and vice versa. Most drivers can only drive 3000 miles a week maybe make 7-10k a week now imagine that times 2. I get paid while I sleep cause she is driving while I'm doing reset, plain and simple
Hello Ken I have a question for you? Since, August of 2021 my license has been revoked. I wanted to get a CDL but was told when I get my license back I would have to have the for year in order for anybody to accept me into school which I think is BS. I don’t even have anything major on record. Ken is this information true? Good content and keep creating !!
Is there like a Craig's list of used trucks. I'm trying to get into trucking and my first goal after nailing a job is to save up for my own truck then start drinking for myself so I can have more home time but still make at least 4k net profit per month. But if I have to spend 6 days at home no matter what then I might as well make the most of it.
BS bro! How Much Do Owner-Operators Make? Owner-operators tend to make around $100 - $150k (USD) per year gross, normally placed right around the $141,000 mark. Are you coming to RUclips to help people or to get people to like, comment and more subscribers on RUclips? you should be ashamed of yourself bro!
