- In this DIY video I show you guys how to remove all the seats in a 2005-2009 Ford Mustang. Removing your seats is great if you wish to give your vehicle a thorough interior detail or if you wish to install racing seats/removing your rear seats for WEIGHT REDUCTION!! If I'm not mistaken, the yellow connector is for the airbags.
Hey I bought a used 2010 with 34k miles for 15k, this winter a bucket of rocks I had in trunk for weight and it spilled around the spare to my surprise was filled with change over 3k in change, I removed the spare got all the change 2 5 gallon buckets and under the spare taped to each side 10k for 20k, I bought the car from a dealership you think they did a good job checking it out?
I can’t seem to fully screw the right side front bolt on the driver seat any tips?
are the plastic covers that were the first thing you took off required for the seat? i’m trying to get mine off right now but it won’t budge so i just wanna break it off

The yellow one of for the airbag I was replacing the seat of my 2007 mustang from a 2008 gt Mustang but the new seats doesn’t have the airbag wire idk if I should keep them or nah
Great videodude! Do you know if it is possible to take off the side plastic on front seats without taking off the whole seat? I am talking about the plastic part where are buttons to move seat back an forth.
I'm not entirely sure, you might be able to just pop it off but I would do more research on it before trying to remove it, to avoid breaking it.
Good video. I was replacing the fuel pump in my 06 convertible and found that I was getting water back there from a clogged weep hole and it was settling in the back seat floor boards. I'm going to take the seats front seats out tomorrow and clean the entire carpet thanks to your video. Also, eating that dirty whatever thing made me laugh pretty good.

Hey I was looking at putting in some racing seats in my 06 gt. Do you know if my airbag light will be on after. I just have the front airbags none in seat's. Does it use the sear belt and tentioner in that case for airbags. Let me know please thanks.
@@generolmatt4 hey go for it if you don't have air bag seats the light will not Come on but remember the seats come with out the brackets they are separate you will have to order them also I say go for it they look great in the car well worth the money you spend on them
@@cmo8182 will the airbags still work if your get in a crash or something? Ya I saw you needed a bracket. I was looking at ones you can slide back and forth and the back is adjustable. Are they as strong as oem. I figured why not because my electric seat is failing I prefer manual anyways. Thanks so much for responding.

Yellow plug is airbag. Do you know how to fix door panels where cloth has came loose or replacing them?

Yellow plug is for the side air bag in the seat

So you remove the yellow connectors without disconnecting the battery?
Did you find out if you have to disconnect battery? Everything I see says you dont have to.

I know this video is 2 years old but it would have been the easier for the back two bolts to reach if you take the bottom seats out first then remove the top part
