Ahhh. I have pioneer woman fabric and I love what you did ❤. Is anything perfect. I love your response ❤️❤️
Thank you Rachel❣️ You are the first one to mention the hidden message ❤️❤️❤️
I love the racer stripes over traditional borders!! What a great idea!
Love, love, love the racing stripes ❤❤❤ and the fat quarter chop.
This is such a clever idea for enlarging a nice quilt that’s not big enough.
Thank you so much❤️
The strips made the quilt to me. Good advice for me when quilt is nit big enough.
Love your fat quarter chop quilt!
I wasn't sure how to extend the quilt top, thank you for teaching me something new ❤❤❤
Just love your free motion quilting
You are so BRAVE, cutting “Willy-Nilly”! Lol
Such beautiful colors. Love the trim too. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love love your process. And the Minky binding. Very special quilt. Thank you as always
Thank you Carol. It even feels special. The edges are so soft❤️
Your free motion quilting on a domestic sewing machine is phenomenal!!! Move over Angela Walters! 😀. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I wish I was even close to being as good as Angela...she's the best. ❣️ Thank you for all of your kind words❤️
I love watching you make scrap quilts!
Thank you for all of the support Janna❤️
Love that quilt.
Beautiful quilt, even though I am late watching it, Thank you for sharing it with us xx
The quilt looks so fun and esay. I appreciater your tutorial on the extensions. Yes, Jesus is perfect! ❤ Thank you for the reminder that it's ok if my quilts are not.
You're welcome Karin❤️ Amen❤️
Love love love that quilt
Thank you so much Karen❤️
Love your channel. We have been in the sewing room together all day and you didn't even know it. Finished up an Irish chain quilt for my son for Christmas. Big time work. Queen size.
Love the free motion quilting. Amazing!
Thank you Rhonda❤️
LOVE the way you made this quilt top larger. So much more intetersting than just adding borders. Will definitenly be using this technique. Also like your improv log cabin blocks. I hate being tied to a pattern.
I could watch you free motion quilting for hours lol. I love my sit down machine!
I love free motion quilting.❤️
I love the racer stripe method to extend the quilt!
Me too❣️ I love big quilts❤️
Yes! Jesus is! Love it!❤
Right!!!!❤️
Love, love, love it! Beautiful!!!!
❤ Love the Quilt!!! ❤
A very unique quilt - so cute
Thank you so much Lesley❤️
I add borders. I think your stripes are so adventurous!
❤️
Love this easy way to create a beautiful quilt
Thank you! 😊
Great quilt, you are so clever. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for the kind words Michelle...happy July❣️
Absolutely gorgeous! I like the sample, too. It could be used as a block to make another quilt. :-). The minky binding - genius!
April
Thanks April...the minky binding was a happy surprise. I have a ton of minky strips trimmed from other quilts. I wish I knew where I got the one I ended up using....I love the look. Merry Christmas haha🎄
The mock up block could be a block on the back and use as a label as well. Totally a great quilt block in itself for another quilt too
And the mock up cd also be used as a throw pillow. If it’s not big enough, just add more strips of the white to the outside edges! 🌷
Your quilt top turned out great!
Thank you Sharon! ❤️
You did spectacular quilting as well!
Thank you so much❤️
The binding is a perfect choice for a winter quilt. You could have added some white loops in one corner to make the whole thing look like a present but it is also great just as it is.
Great idea Debbie🎁
I love that quilt!!You did a greate job!!Thank you for your videos!

Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. This the first time I have watched your channel. I think chopping up the quilt to make it bigger is soooo.. clever. Thanks for sharing😊
Welcome to my channel Ester❣️
I'm glad you corrected the alignment of the red squares at the beginning. My OCD would have been annoyed to the end. 😁PHIU!
We all have a little OCD quilting in us for sure❣️
So creative. I love all of it but was enthralled by the way you sliced and diced to make the quilt larger. I'm so non-creative that I seem to only add straight borders to enlarge. Time to get out of my comfort zone and do some different things. Love all your videos. Thanks.
I love that idea with the racer stripes. I usually extent the length and width with one, two or three borders of different widths. I like your idea better.
Your idea is great too....I love trying new things😀
Tracy, this quilt is fantastic! It looks like more work than it is. I struggle with scrappy, but this video makes it easier for my brain. I just add boarders to make a quilt larger.
Thank you❤️
Your free-motion quilting is fantastic. I've been watching your channel for a while. Your skill gets better and better.
Thank you so much! Your support means a lot ❣️
This quilt looks amazing
Thank. you so much Lynn❤️
Binding is brilliant
You are kind to say Catherine❣️
I'm loving it also & the minky binding is awesome!
Thank you Nita❤️
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Great stash buster and wonderful way of stretching the size! Thx

Fantastic quilt!! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas!
You are so welcome!❤️
Beautiful! Love the fabrics.
Thank you! 😊
Awesome quilt❤❤
I love how you made this, it is beautiful.
Wonderful quilt. Thanks for being such a great teacher. God Bless You. Xxx ❤✝️
I like the quilting! Looks so nice!
Thank you! 😊
Looks great, we'll done sweet, always enjoy watching x take care x
Thank you for all of your support Karon❣️
WOW! what a neat quilt! You are an exceptional teacher. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind feedback❣️
Triple chop with a minky binding. I love the look of the minky binding. I can’t wait to feel a minky binding. I always fall asleep kind of rubbing the edge of my quilt on my face. You on purpose chopped your fat quarters to deliberately create scraps. Once again Tracy to the rescue. I have had 12 fat quarters starched and ready to go for over a year waiting on me to figure out what to do with them. I needed a solution for the problem of it not being long enough or wide enough. Your idea of using racing stripes is brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing.
You're welcome Destry❤️
Never would have thought to use binky as a binding. Think that would be good on a baby quilt.
Hi Judith🌹
How are you doing?
Thank you for sharing this method. Love you work and your teaching is clear.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback Trudy!❤️
I wish I could free motion quilt like you do on my JUKI…even if I turned the machine to be vertical I don’t think I could ever learn… 80 Yrs old and only do squiggles 😢
Love your quilts and the freedom of how you work♥️
Love this method! I have so much fabric that I love but haven’t used trying to find a pattern that is stress free. I want to enjoy the fabric 😊
Love how you explain your work😊
Oh my goodness I want to learn to free motion quilt like that. This is amazing
I started fmq with meandering on a little 40-year old Kenmore. Drop the feed-dogs. As I got more confident, I started to make it up as I went along, and then I discovered Angela Walters' books and youtubes. Practice. I still have the Kenmore for piecing, but I now do the quilting on a Babylock with a larger harp. It was a little pricey but worth it. Shop around. I think Jukey makes a machine similar to my Babylock, with no bells and whistles, just back and forth and a bigger harp. It's fun, and the quilting is now part of the whole process that I look forward to the most.
Thank you so much...you can totally do fmq Frank❣️
I'm with you Karen....free motion quilting is the best...I too, look forward to it everytime❤️
thanks for the video. It is fun to see how your FMQ just keeps getting better and better. It encourages me to keep practicing.
Thank you❣️
love it i love scrapy quilting ... i have been watching you for a while you never disappoint thanks
Thank you so much Sue ❤️
How about using the minky for the strips in the quilt? That would be awesome. Great video!
That is an awesome idea❣️
Since it will be over 106 degrees tomorrow, hearing Christmas music helped me think it will be cool! 🥵. LOL! 😂😂😂. OMG! It's past midnight! I can do my Wordle, then hopefully fall asleep! 😘
haha I love wordle too...I used to play all the time...not as much anymore....WOW 106!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd die!
Beautiful ❤😊
I do a lot of these quilts and they are so fun to make. I have the red fabric with roses on it and didn't see it was it was Christmas and used it on a different quilt 😊.
They are so much fun to make for sure Jessica❣️ I would totally use that red floral in a regular non seasonal quilt...it's gorgeous...❤️
It is! I hope this year the Christmas line has more beautiful rose fat quarters.
I tried searching last week to see if PW was coming out with a New Christmas line of fabric but I couldn't find anything. BUT did you see her new Christmas fabric on the comforter set????? it's beautiful!!! here's the link to it www.walmart.com/ip/The-Pioneer-Woman-Holiday-Multi-Cotton-Cheerful-Toile-3-Piece-Quilt-Set-Full-Queen/305225206?selected=true&irgwc=1&sourceid=imp_VZ9Uwr2XQxyPRLIQVdReWWjjUkFztaR9QTcPUM0&veh=aff&wmlspartner=imp_3006986&clickid=VZ9Uwr2XQxyPRLIQVdReWWjjUkFztaR9QTcPUM0&sharedid=&affiliates_ad_id=565706&campaign_id=9383
OMG! That is nice I hope she puts that in fat quarters or the yard bundle.
I love what you did! Fantastic!
Thank you so much!❣️
This would be a great idea for the Pioneer Woman fat quarters that I got on sale!
Awesome❣️
The fabric colors are beautiful; it doesn’t look like Christmas to me, except for the trees.
I haven’t tried it, of course, but it looks like it would be a whole lot easier to line up your sides, when inserting the white strips, if you squared up the ends of the white, and sewed them on starting with the beginning end flush with the patchwork. Then add the next strip of patchwork, starting flush. Leave the leftover white ends hanging off the bottom end, till you straighten up. Of course, you’d hv to be careful not to stretch or pull, as you sewed, so you don’t end up with a curved quilt top! 😂 Just an idea. 🌷
Your idea would totally work too❣️
I would love it if you did a video on free motion quilting. I just struggle so much.
Hi Tracy thank you for showing how square up fabric not squaring up a quilt top. I have not been able to figure it out. I still don’t have my sewing machine until September but I’m using my daughter in law’s sewing machine. And have finished 4 projects. I am doing straight line quilting as I am not brave enough to free motion yet. Both your quilt top and mockup look great. Thanks for being you 5:05
It is difficult to square fabric up sometimes because it comes off the bolt a tad wonky...it's doable but tricky sometimes.Glad to hear you finished up some of your projects❤️
Such a great quilt! My favorite thing is that cozy Mindy border! Can’t wait to see all your Christmas projects. Thanks Tracey!
Thank you ❤️ The minky is super cozy❣️
that is absolutely beautiful i just love it
Thanks so much Deborah...I love Christmas Quilting🎄
My mom made those stuffed Christmas trees. She wasn't a quilter, but she made clothes and crafts.
Those Christmas Trees are very nostalgic🎄
Tracey, you never disappoint, the design is fresh & your fabrics are very Christmassy. Minky binding looks great. I just might borrow your idea & bind new baby (Catilin Adale if a girl or William Pierce if a boy) quilt with minky. You created another fantastic project🎉❤😊
The minky bind is perfect for a baby quilt❣️
Wow!beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Did it again,Tracy! Beautiful quilt. I really liked the mock up you did, I can see it as a block itself. you keep challenging me.I have your templates printed for the Christmas trees and plan on making them someday, currently working on your Strawberry Gingham quilt challenge, almost done🤗
I can also see the racing stripes used on a panel quilt.
Thank you❣️ I can't wait to see your Strawberry Gingham Quilt Ann!!!!🍓
I adore this❤️💐🙏
Thank you so much❣️
Love the racer stripes! Mock up would make a cute pillow top?
Thanks Linda...great idea for the mock up❣️
I love your creativity. Your free motion quilting is beautiful.
Thank you so much Trudy❤️
How long did it take you to free motion quilt the entire top?
@@kmazzit probably 4 hours total...or less...I tend to do 1 hour sessions until I'm done.
Love this quilt and your quilting. ❤
Love it! Your freehand quilting is amazing!! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Love it!!! It came out so good!!
Thanks so much 😊
Loved this totorial
Thank you so much❣️
Love it
Thank you so much❣️
I love it 😍 💖
I like the race stripe on the mock up better than the stripes on your scrappy quilt top. I think it's the contrast that I like better with the mock up. Just my preference.
I totally see that too....my quilt sort of reminds me of snow everywhere❄❄❄
Your FMQ added so much to the white inserts. Love the narrow Minky binding. Super cozy.
Thanks so much! The minky bind is super soft ❤️
Beautiful! I love it! Merry Christmas!
Thank you! You too!🎄
I love scrappy quilts too because I don’t have to think too much about what goes where. This one you just made is gorgeous. It’s Christmas without being overkill! The binding really does add that finishing touch, like a cherry on a sundae. Question 1) I was wondering what do you do with all your mock ups? I can imagine a giant “mock” quilt with all the mock ups you’ve made. How interesting would that be! I’m also about to get some minky type blankets and try those out for backings. I’ve watched your videos and I want to give it a go. I think not only would it look nice but feel super nice. I truly enjoy watching your videos. You make things seem less complicated to me and it gives me a bit of courage to try new things. Free motion quilting is something I haven’t done yet at all. It’s always stitch in the ditch, echo stitch, hand tie, or the big X if I’m doing rag quilts. Question 2) Can you do a tutorial for free motion quilting for a larger quilt for someone like me who has a regular sewing machine and not much room? I’ve seen the one where you hang the quilt on the wall. That isn’t an option for me. Question 3) Can you also do a video on cutting large pieces of fabric for someone that is handicapped, like myself, I can’t stand up to cut on the table like I used to. Sitting down cutting large pieces or trying to square up a quilt towards the is very hard for me. I basically have my sewing stuff in a horseshoe shape around me. Sewing machine in front, cutting table to the right, and ironing board behind me. I can scoot back and forth in my office chair. 😁 But standing and getting those long cuts are no longer an option. I know I asked a lot. Question 3 is the most important one to me if you can’t address them all. Thank you so much friend! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 🎅🏻 🧑🏻🎄 ❤️ ✂️
Thank you for all of the kind feedback❣️ I will add all that you said on my list✅
Your quilt is beautiful! Your quilting made me smile!
Awe thank you so much ❤️ Happy July❣️
The super scrapy look is vastly emphasized by the racing stripes. I like it. I was 👀 watching Tiffany's Quilting Life, and I saw her increase the width of her quilt by using floating borders on the sides. I personally like a more rectangular quilt over a square quilt. Both methods will make a smaller quilt larger. Your friend from New Mexico, Carla 🎶 💖 💐
Thank you for watching...Happy July Christmas❣️
Wow, Tracy, This Quilt looks Fantastic and your quilting looks great too❣️ I hope you have a lovely Sunday. 🥰👍🥰 Chris
Thank you Chris❣️ Happy July Quilt making❣️
