- The former G2 duo of Dezignful and Chaotic following being dropped by the org picked up ZachMazer to form BBB and were later signed to Elev8 Entertainment. E8 have some of the biggest personalities in the scene and were in a high profile contest vs. TSM... and through this controversial season they failed to qualify for LAN and dropped face of the team Dezignful.

I'm ngl, I feel like all the number crunching and stats work would make you a good analyst for a team. Not sure what teams look for in an analyst but all this supplemental information could be really valuable to teams trying to improve their game!
Seems like a well rounded and grounded guy in his twenties, perfect role model (perfect to lead a group of young guys) and you can tell he has an eye what really matters in comp, teams should be reaching out imo
why spend so much time being a apex analyst when you can focus on a YT career that pays more in the long run lol

@@kensosa7447 I'm sure he could do both. If he's signed to an org it would most likely boost his channel and his content views. As long as the team he's with is fine with it and he has the time, I'm sure it would add even more content! But big asterisks on all of this on whether this is possible+relevant

@@mortredpta Sweet wasnt the only one who said that, several pros pointed it out. Raven has said a bunch of stuff and retracted it before. I dont doubt they gave them insight, but BBB not fighting is just mazer being mazer.
@@adancingpenguin3137 everyone heard it from someone else. as far as i know, no one from E8 ever confirmed that, they didnt deny what Raven said if i remember right.
@@mortredpta Im sure they said something along the lines of "hey if you land here this is the loot route" I highly doubt they told them "heres how to beat us at this site" I don't think TSM is scared of anyone, if they wanted launchpad, they would land there, TSM is a top five team worldwide. But sweet being the "false news" guy, was literally just repeating what everyone else was saying at the time according to the pro chat discord.
Zach Mazer is undoubtedly one of the IGLs of all time.
Also I'm sorry, no hate to Enoch, but he isn't qualified to coach a lan quality team. He has next to no top tier experience playing or coaching, tiktok guides for golds don't count

Good video man, the thing that is most confusing about the wall contest, is they wanted to be a 3v3 edge team yet refused to take a straight 3v3 off drop. The decision to run away seems to antithetical to your core ethos as a team
Right? Don’t know how they thought they could be a fragging edge team without winning a contest. It’s arguable that the wall isn’t even that great of an edge poi
The only benefit of center or top right POIs like Lightning Rod, Cascade, Checkpoint, Wall is its location. If you’re going to waste time until zone closes anyways then better drop fish farms or Cenote. Because if then you wouldn’t have to contest TSM, NRG, XSET, and Furia for it. You could contest against OXG and LG instead which is much easier.
Its a bit late but here's my little take. E8 got rolled by TSM on their first try to contest them & instead of either sucking it up & try again or admit defeat & find another spot (sidenote Raven is a dickhead for fucking E8 over the way he did, but that's another topic), instead they did neither they landed next to TSM & decided to just settle for the inferior spot. If I was their coach I'd tell them they needed to grow a pair & just ape TSM (better to die fighting then do nothing).
I know I just shit on Raven (which he deserves for breaking his promise), but when TSM got their ass kicked by Faze 8-2 for Lauch Pad (which is arguably a better POI then Wall) they were at least decisive & dropped that plan the next day.
Love these videos. I think they're a great way to get Apex fans into the competitive scene. Teams have such a high turn over rate it can be hard to get new viewers familiar with the players, and not everyone likes to binge streams.
I was really rooting for E8/BBB this split. I was never a big fan of C9 or G2 but I always like to root for underdog teams. seeing them fail and then having some split up is unfortunate. Great video as always and keep up the ALGS content!!!!!!

I remember hearing (I think from Hal) G2 offered chaotic to make a new team with him staying w the org like how faze did w snipedown and he passed to stay w design and just find a 3rd I don’t think there’s any bad blood w this it’s just time for a change up and it’ll probably be better for both of them

they need to work on planning ahead more. it seems they understand fundamentals but situations where they die could be prevented by thinking a couple more steps ahead

Hi JHawk love the content as always. Please make a video about ranking all the best POIs in all the comp maps along with the teams landing there. It would be very helpful for the algs fans to understand all teams play style based on their poi and game strat.
I would suggest checking out Raven, Coldjyn or some other pro coaches on Twitter! They post tierlists sometimes and know more about the POIs then I do!
Dezign blocked them all, they did him dirty, as if he just told him he was going to be done. But they did terrible this split, so why isn’t he done(chaotic). really they were planning to drop him that’s why they let him play ranked. They just lead him on , instead of talking about the problems

I thought (mistakenly perhaps) that Zach mazer was one of the best in the world before he joined C9, but I just do not think IGLing is his strong suit

Came back to this after mazer made lan with e8 happy for the guy, finally showing he has it in him
Dez cooked up that loba ash rampart comp in a charity tourney where his team was frying with it. Basically they would rotate hella fast and set up in a place where they could use ash port to get to god spot in the late game. Due to bbb struggling at the time they adopted it to try and make something work.

Best Apex content on RUclips and it’s not close
nobody talks about the lack of commitment of Zach and Chaotic during the last weeks of PL, Zach missing scrims, Chaotic not even showing up and barely playing scrims. Change was probably good, Chaotic on Cat was not good. He needs to frag, and Zach couldn't mesh the two together. E8 game speed for fights was always off, Chaotic needs to be full health which slows the speed of the trio for a fight, maybe 2 only fighting at once.

BBB Were never as deadly as Dezign, Resultuh and Gent, they were a completely balanced team , all they needed was to swap the IGL from Dezign to Gent. They were a great team but I guess the IGL seat being in Dezign's control wasn't the most optimal. No slack or dissing to Dezign but personal opinion

While I think Zach was the best option for an IGL, I dont know how good of an IGL he really is anymore. Meta shifts. Teams getting better. He is falling out.
Just a year and a half ago he was listed as a top 3 IGL with Hal and Sweet (that DEFINITELY should have been someone else, but I digress.) Now he has some hair brained schemes instead of playing the game. It felt like he was playing to grief TSM at Wall instead of playing to win.

The one thing Zach forgets is that viewers don’t like him. And it has nothing to do with TSM fans or anything. Any podcast he is on or what you watch his stream he is just not that well liked. Contest all you want it won’t get you anywhere. He also wasn’t thinking about qualifying to LAN he was thinking about viewership.
