I've tried to pre-design my left-hand nails, but I found that the gel would not cure the b/c of the polish. Just wondering if you have experienced that or have any tips to fix that. I love your channel and especially your nail vids! You've inspired me to start doing my own nails. It's like a relaxation/de-stress time for me. ☺💖
I had the same problem, it was so goopy and just would not cure! I don't think there's any way to prevent that since the gel won't cure underneath because the layers of gel polish on top of the extension prevent the UV light from getting through to the bottom, unfortunately! :(
hi!! I tend to cure those a bit longer to make sure they are cured all the way. and if you’re not comfortable with that and feel like they are not curing you can always just apply them with some nail glue:)
I just did my very first set today and that happened on my left(first) hand i noticed it was because 1) i didn’t file the whole nail to be rough and 2) i didn’t put a base coat on! after doing all of that on my right hand it looked SOOOO much better. the steps really matter :) Good luck everyone, we on that money savin shit 😂🤍

you should buy uv protective gloves for how much you do your nails! i did mine all the time and eventually the light started to tan my nails and if you use the uv lamp often you can risk cancer so i immediately got uv protective gloves to protect my skin!
When you do the non-dominant hand and adhere them after you’ve pre-designed them, do you have any issues with curing them all the way? Does the gel glue cure all the way through when the nail is opaque? This set is so cute btw! I really want to try it!💚
Quick question, after you file the inside of the gel nail extension do you wipe them with alcohol or anything? I thought having dust on the nail could prevent them from staying on. Just trying to follow every step☺

You can still use your regular polish for color and designs above gel polish, if you want them to last long just use a gel topcoat on top after they’re fully dry :)

If you want to make nail content, but you don’t feel like taking off your own extensions, you can make a set of press ones with some nail art. You can get those stands with the paddy to hold the nails still
I got that same set of primer and dehydrator and I thought the same thing too I tried putting a lot of the primer on and I felt like it absolutely made my nails fall off 100% faster

What do you do about the apex? My biggest struggle with using full over tips is the tips snap off within the first day or two 😭
you can try using builder gel before you polish to make them stronger!

after dehydrator then primer, u don't do uv light at all right? & the primer should be sticky? thank u!
Yes! You don’t need to cure it, just let it sit for a minute or two so it dries down before applying the gel glue :)
