UNREAL Experiences! 48 hours in TOKYO (Maid Cafes + shopping) | Honeymoon Diaries

Welcome back to another episode of our Honeymoon Diaries!
We kicked off our Tokyo day with an incredible bowl of vegan ramen. This spot served up ramen with vegetables, tofu, and your choice of salt or soy sauce broth. We went for the soy sauce, and wow-best decision ever. The noodles were perfectly bouncy, and the vegan meat soaked up all that tasty broth. Honestly, this was hands down the best ramen we’ve had in Japan!
Afterward, we headed to Akiba Culture Zone, where our childhood memories came flooding back. We found a trading card shop filled with Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and couldn’t resist grabbing some nostalgic favorites. Surrounded by all our favorite characters and collectibles, it was like stepping back in time.
Next, we made our way to Shibuya Crossing-the world-famous pedestrian scramble. It was a mesmerizing sight, watching waves of people moving in every direction. With neon lights, stylish shops, and a vibrant youth culture, Shibuya at night was pure energy.
Of course, no trip to Tokyo is complete without spending a ridiculous amount of time (and money) in the arcades. These were the highlight of our nights-addictive, but totally worth it. We got sucked into one for three hours without even realizing it!
Nakano Broadway was next, and wow, what a treasure trove! We started by grabbing essentials at Daiso, then got lost in endless rows of gacha machines and Pokémon cards. But the real gem was a second-hand store packed with 90s and 00s merch. We could’ve spent the entire day exploring the quirky shops and nostalgic finds. Nakano Broadway truly has it all!
We wrapped things up with one last visit to the Pokémon store, where the magic of catching ‘em all brought back those childhood thrills. Afterward, we soaked in the enchanting world of Studio Ghibli, full of stunning visuals and heartfelt stories, and ended our Tokyo journey with a visit to the whimsical Kirby Café-a place that’s vibrant, playful, and guaranteed to bring out your inner kid.
