bro. you are a genius. With basic tools you have built real and practical weapons. Good for you. Thanks for sharing and motivating. Greetings from Venezuela
Thank you very much for letting me know what you think of my videos and building style.
My Dude, you are a bad ass, excellent DIY. Thanks
Thank you for the comment 😎👍
I think a machete would been better tool for that pineapple. But you did a awesome job on that baton.
Thank you. I had to test it on something.
Cool project. Iv been looking at some tonfa handle designs for a cane. Im thinking steel pipe would be best for the strength however it's not good for restriction environments so I need to make a wooden one with a strong enough connection to support weight. Any ideas. Is that why you used a nail instead of a peg?
Thank you. A hard wood peg will work just fine, but I think a metal nail or peg will be stronger than any wood. That is why I used a longer thicker nail for that. Also make sure it is glues and clamped down for additional strength. Good luck with your project, I hope this helps 👍
Good job man. If you decide to do another one try doing an old school straight shaft baton. But try using a replacement shovel handle from the box store. Cut to size drill a hole and put a leather boot lace threw it and learn how to spin it like a 70s NYC cop.
That is a really good idea, but as of now my hands are full of other works. Thank you for the idea.
Also great soundtrack it's one of the best iv heard for this kind of video.
Thank you, it was hard to find the right background music that is also no copy right.
I made mine with pvc pipe and press fitted a dowel inside the pipe
That's interesting...
Walnut. Make it out of walnut or lignum vitae.
That is a good idea, but oak wood is more common to find. Thanks
Hell yes, that night stick is awesome. I want one but a little smaller so it's like a tactical night stick or whatever. Anyways, I really enjoyed the video. Awesome job.
Thank you very much for your comment, I am glade you really do like my work.
Dude 😂 you made my day)))
Your welcome.
Hey man, I've been making my own builds for a few years now and just recently came across your channel. I've noticed that you utilize a lot of simple but effective techniques. I've also drawn inspiration from a few of your videos. I noticed you use wood glue and wooden pins or dows for a lot of builds, do you find those to be as sturdy as bolts and epoxy? Anyways keep up the great work I'm excited to see what comes out next. 👍🏻
Thank you very much. My builds hold up even when I go all out on them on testing, the testing parts speak for themselves. So yes, they do hold up for such a simple way of building and even hold up fairly well compared to professional builds.
You're going to break your ribs by extending it so far past your elbow.
Thanks 👍
That's about how long the PR24 police version extends.

Very nice build well done! Got me wondering which part of the weapon generates the most force.
Maybe the bottom handle. Thank you.
That notch you made for the handle probably weakened it a fair bit.
Maybe, but believe I put a metal rod in there so it should be fine on strength.
Hey guy. Loving the videos. Can you show us how to make a cross as a present for our mothers? One that can lay flat or stand up right please
I almost did a video on that one but didn't because video making is very hard. Maybe next time in the future, I will keep it in mind. Thank you 😁
Dude you just need some eye protection when you’re smashing stuff and you’re all set! Way to go looks cool.
Thank you, but I think I am pretty alright on the smashing park. Most people that do what I do also don't wear them, but maybe you are right. Any way, thanks for the comment and support 👍
@@john_free_thinker for sure man I just want you to stay healthy and safe! 👍
@@YdoIneedahandle869 Thank you for letting me know 😁
Make me a Billy club
Ok, when I can I will, "Make me a Billy club"
Very nice bro, wishbi wud learn from u
Thank you 🙂
Awesomeness!!! Can you make a hardware store replica of a ww2 "thumb dagger" or "lapel knife?"I'd really appreciate that! Subscribed!
Thank you for the comment and for the ideas. As of now I don't think I will be making those anytime to soon, but they are good ideas and I will keep them in mind. Thanks 👍

ขอบคุณมากฉันดีใจที่คุณชอบมัน
So good, man, only the side handle is too big I think.
Thank you, but remember I do not have large hands so that could be it.
dude mark was wtf
What?
i watched this 1 hour ago and I'm back with a baton
Thank you.
Reddit "Expensive_Cod" here: That's funny, right before you took a taste I was thinking, "Pineapple juice, anyone?" 😅
Yeah, thanks 🍍
Hallo old friend haw are you doing l hopefully you are good l have qesjen can you make more knifes ok love you 👋🏽😁
Knives are hard to make, I can do a knife handle or a knife restoration. Maybe one day I will make a knife, but it would be hard for me to make a good one. Thank you.
Cute toy, but attaching the handle like that ensures the item will break after a couple strikes.
In the testing part it did not break or even became weaker, it still holds up strong. Maybe one day it will break, but I don't think it will easily.
Good video... well, up until you started breaking thin pieces of 'ice?!?'.. if you actually hit a person while using that handle, err it would bend. Better off just making a hardwood baton..bring on the smashing heads 👍😎.. Still, thanks for the video
Thank you very much, glade you like it. But the handle is all held together with I think 3,000 lbs. wood glue and a thicker hard long metal nail. I think it would be as strong as a regular one. Either way, glad you commented 👍
Mucho thanks.. have a marvelous one ☮️
@@evisgeniul1436 You too 👍

Thank you.

Thank you, and yes.

Thank you?
Ananastonfajutsu 🤣🤣🤣 More practice, man. Ржали всей Окинавой.. 😁
👍
The handle is too long.
how so?
@@john_free_thinker The knop on the end of the handle is too far from the main shaft of the tonfa. There's too much space between your hand and the knob on the end of the handle.
@@willswenson6526 I guess, but I made it on what I saw with my own style. Sure, it is not a 1 to 1 but is still in that family class.
@john_free_thinker Just thought you might like to know from a practioner of Kobudo and Qigong. Otherwise, nice job. Keep up the good work. I bid you peace, harmony and prosperity.
@@willswenson6526 Thank you very much and thank you for the comment 👍😀
Waste of food!
No need to worry, I donated it all so nothing went to waist. Thanks for watching.
