The whole trip depends on your translink fare. From Singapore to JB is via SBS using your EZlink or Netflash pay or SimplyPay(credit card). So the maximum fare will be about S$3

According to CNA and this imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/img/infographic_popup2.png You only need to submit the arrival card to registered and use the autogate, so first time, fill in the Digital arrival card, then go in by manual process and back to singapore with autogate or manual, next time you come back to malaysia again, you can use the autogate.
