Regardless, the trailer got approved and then aired. I've done some stuff for Disney as a Freelancer and believe me.. they want their stuff signed off. They took between 4-10(!) weeks for that and we had three milestones. For a 30 second thing.

What the hell is this movie even about?
Original Snow White as a character was defined by her snow white complexion. Well they cast a dark skinned girl there to be woke so that invalidates the character's entire name. Okay...
The Original point of contention between the evil queen and Snow White was that the Queen was angry that the omniscient magic mirror said Snow White was more beautiful than the Queen. Well, they cast a nasty looking girl as snow white and a beautiful woman as the queen, so that doesn't make sense anymore. Okay...
Some have tried to rationalize and explain this away saying it meant "fair" as in like fair judgement rather than being beautiful, but that doesn't make sense either because it implies the queen that is literally wanting to murder some innocent girl for being better than her is somehow the SECOND most fair person in the land and she's just removing the only person more than her? It just makes no sense. Okay...
Snow White showed up at the dwarves' house and believed they were orphaned children, so she decided to clean the place up and make food for them to make them feel loved as if they had a mother, and to try to convince them to let her stay. Well they made new woke Snow White break into their house and immediately demand that THEY clean up their own home because it wasn't up to HER standards and then I guess just demand they let her stay there too even though she's offering nothing and contributing nothing. Okay...
I mean seriously. What IS this movie about? There is nothing of the original left in the story. They might as well have just made some new, unique IP character because it doesn't resemble snow white at all. And while we don't know the exact plot of this travesty, i'm sure a lot of other woke changes will even further differentiate it from the original. For example, the huntsman decides to spare Snow White and reveal the Queen's plan to her and advises her to run away into the woods which Snow White does as she is scared by this understandably scary situation. I'm guessing that in Snow Woke, she'll actually deduce the queen's plot on her own because she is "so smart" and then probably beat the huntsman in some kind of fight and then only go into the woods to plot the overthrow of the queen because, you know, woke girl power nonsense. Likewise I can guarantee that the prince isn't going to save her with a kiss either. And she'll probably have a 1 on 1 girlboss fight against the queen too because, woke Disney.
It's not the same story. At all. The only similarities ironically is the fact the story contains 7 dwarves, which Disney also didn't even want to use and dried using DEI hire live action actors instead.

I am actually shocked to hear they finally fired the right person, Zegler. I thought for sure she had some very disturbing photos of Iger that she was using for blackmail because I cannot think of any other reason they didn't dump her years ago when she started this downward spiral.
The only way to fix this version of Snow White is to ditch the CGI dwarves and hire humans, get rid of the lead actress, which means basically reshooting the entire thing. Marketing was the least of this movies problems. The only way they could have successfully sold this shit is to not show any scene's from the actual movie.

For example: making a remake of a film where a character has a specific origin, gender, sexuality (etc.) and completely altering it to support minorities, resulting in a character so different that it can no longer be considered the same. When people criticize these works ruined by wokeism, the woke community ends up labeling everyone as racist, sexist, transphobic, and toxic instead of accepting that they might be wrong. It’s not "including LGBT themes" that ruins a work; *a well-made work can also have them.*

The Owl House and Amphibia = 2 beloved animated series, with multiethnic FEMALE protagonists and LGBT themes. And Disney wanted to cancel them despite all the fans being against it, forcing the directors to rush the endings. *These series weren’t woke.*
Spider-Verse = the protagonist is Black, but he is beloved, and the films are considered masterpieces. Because 1) they didn’t change Spider-Man’s origins, he’s just a different Spider-Man; he’s not Peter Parker, he’s Miles Morales. And 2) him and the movies themselves are well-written!
The Boys = the series got some changes from the comic book, mainly ethnical, gender and some plot points, yet it is considered one of the rare "Adaptation that surpass the source" (kinda like "Anime who are better than their Mangas") and many love it because it's well-done (despite criticisms on the 4th season). This series actually makes fun and sh*t on wokeism.

Woke culture in the industry, in short, is what makes a terrible film or series by using the character’s gender as the only selling point. A series isn’t good just because the protagonist is a Black lesbian woman, but a good series CAN have a Black lesbian protagonist. It all depends on how and why it’s done. If money is the main goal instead of telling a story (with which to make money), 99% of the time it ends up being trash.

This movie is going to lose more than John Carter, The Lone Ranger, and Mars Needs Moms COMBINED-especially if they can’t get Rachel Zegler to keep her fucking mouth shut and stop trying to sabotage the project more than she already has-and it’s gotta be intentional at this point. Bob Iger has got to be deliberately trying to drive the company into the ground out of spite, incompetence, maybe even just good ol’ fashioned tax fraud, but at this point, if the failure of Snow White isn’t enough to clue them in, I’m not even watching their self-destruction for the trainwreck anymore; they’re clearly just too stupid to live.

When you have a bad product you need to fire the people who made it, not the publicity team. What are they supposed to do with what they have to work with? LIE to the clients? The only way to make that Snow White trailer somewhat "appealing" was to not show anything from the movie at all.
