  • #266. RESIN ART Meets The MELO MELO PEARL!
In todays Resin Art video we experiment and try to replicate the rarest pearl in existence.... The Melo Melo Pearl!
I was asked by a viewer to try and recreate a Conch Pearl from resin art but I decided to take it even further by creating this one which is even rarer and much more expensive!
This UV curing resin clay has soooo much potential for us resin artists! It's incredible! Can you imagine how many resin pearls we could make just from one pot!
The results are so close to the real pearls and this makes it more affordable for us to create stunning resin art jewelry.... Just please.... do not use this for evil! DO NOT MAKE AND SELL AS REAL PEARLS! List as Resin Art Replicas!

Hello Daniel and all. I live in Australia and I ordered the dichroic film from Little Windows shop in the U.S. using the link Daniel had posted on one of his community posts. I'm Soo excited that it got here and to start using it.
Our border security had opened it and left inside a pamphlet saying so. I didn't mind that, they are only trying to keep our borders safe. They resealed the envelope very well, so no complaints from me.
    Thankyou Daniel.

Okay, I looked up both of them, Dan. Wow, that Queen Conch pearl is amazing!
It appears both types have a porcelain-like finish, as they are non-nacreous. Would it be possible to polish the final resin coating to make them like that, rather than super shiny? What in the world could be used? A polishing compound of some type?
Simply *STUNNING!* ❤ I can't believe you got such amazing results - on first try! I am sooo impressed! 😊👍💕

If you use a alcohol ink instead of a mica powder, you'll see it clearer. And if you add the tiniest amount of Mica powder within that mixture, you'll still get the same shimmer. But use the alcohol ink as the main colorant and I think you'll get a better result.

@SunshineSomeday Yes, this is contact dermititis (Eczema) and can get quite bad! Had to wait quite a while myself and, once you develop an allergy, you'll continue to get it on contact. This reaction seems to be from direct contact with chemicals in uncured resin or under-cured resin (UV and 2 part) when casting and/or sanding. I use white cotton gloves under blue or black nitrile to craft and sand resin, plus I use a barrier cream (Lantiseptic) on my hands under gloves. Does not seem to be triggered by fully cured resin, at least for me. Good luck and happy crafting!

Why are you not swearing at me like you did on tictok? To put in neurotypical layman's terms: I search on all kinds of platforms for hobby ideas. Cooking, art, gardening, you get the picture. When I get the results back, I see 99% yt (white hands). Why am I a bad person for being annoyed by this? Why did you even like the comment "blk gloves yt skin" in the first place 🤔 I'm assuming ironically, as neurotypical is as neurotypical does. "WTF"
I ment is me writing is a natural unfiltered thought coming from a natural person of Autism. You can't deny how expensive resin hobbies are in the first place. So if you had any life experience beyond the scope of your matrix, you could reasonably understand why 99% of 13% (?) of the blk population in America doesn't have time or money to participate in alot of hobbies. Working so much & having to survive with what I firmly believe is a real life extinction event on black people.
Does that answer your question 🤔 or do you have any more mud you want to sling at me 🤨

You hit like on almost every hate comment that your viewers left to me. How professional 👏 is that? You don't think those comments took a toll on my but to add insult to injury you as the account owner hits like. As if I deserve 😪 more pain. You are a ruthless scumbag. But hey the world could care less about autism. You proved that.
      Have a wonderful day.
