    In fact, given all the battles and important event discussions you've done, including that video you did on episode 15 Trespass, you've pretty much talked about almost all of the episodes of season 1, the only ones were missing are the aforementioned episodes 11 and 12, the three-parter of episodes 8 to 10 involving the capture of Gunrey, his freedom, and Grevious Lair, and lastly episode 22.

    This is one of the few battles that is shown that demonstrates the Confederacy’s superiority over the Republic during the conflict.
    The majority of the battles never really demonstrates how the Confederacy had overwhelming numbers and firepower compared to the Republic.

  • @lerneanlion
    @lerneanlion 9 месяцев назад +7

    After this victory, how much possible it is for the Separatists to establish a stronghold with a fleet there to make it harder for the Republic to pass through to Felucia? Considering how the Clones Wars went, I guess they didn't do it. But if they did, will this changed the course of the Clones Wars?

    • @dhaburuk6494
      @dhaburuk6494 8 месяцев назад +1

      Off the top of my head, if the CIS secured a reliable highway between their two major territories then the rich resources of the IGBC would flood across to the Techno-Union & Commerce Guild factory worlds, and all those military assets from said factories would flood back across to the likes of Munnilinst. There were plenty of assets sneaking across GAR territory as it was, which enabled Munnalinst to hold out for practically the entire war, and of course the CIS had plenty of assets to defend their leadership & IGBC vaults, but nothing big enough to upset the balance of either theatre. Somehow I'm sure it would not have won the war for the CIS, but the GAR would certainly have been forced backward if they could not block that lane before it was reinforced.

    • @lerneanlion
      @lerneanlion 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@dhaburuk6494 So while it might not turned the tide of the war, it shall make the Felucia theatre lasted longer. And as a result, Shu Mai might not feel the need to leave for Utapau personally and can remain there with confidence for a while. By doing so, the Separatist Council can get to choose between going to Mustafar or Felucia. If they chose Felucia, the Empire will have a hard time reaching them because the droids' army have yet to be activated, Felucia's jungles are anything but normal and are highly dangerous, and with all Jedi either slain or in hiding, the Republic turned Imperial officers will have to take up the command themselves unless Sidious wanted to expose to the galaxy that Darth Vader is indeed Anakin Skywalker. And these Imperial officers are anything but competent. So yeah, the war will keep dragging on with Felucia becoming the primary objective while planets such as Desix and Raxus Secundus are the secondary concerns with the Imperial military making little to no progress whatsoever. To make the matter worse, the Umbaran resistance and Saw Garrera's Partisans began their campaigns against the local Imperial garrisons to liberate Onderon and Umbara from the Imperial occupations. This means the Imperial military will be spread thin while remaining largely lacking of competent leadership.

    • @dhaburuk6494
      @dhaburuk6494 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@lerneanlion I think you mistake Felucia's value. It's Shu Mai's throne-world, not a factory-world pumping out legions of battle-droids. It just so happens to be a nasty place to live (worse to wage war on) and practically next door are said factory-worlds. Palpatine placed a priority on Felucia to decapitate the Commerce Guild, but its hard to kill a snake when its surrounded by its brood - a meat-grinder by design of course.
      Your train of thought is interesting. The formation of the Empire relied on other factors, however. The collective might of the CIS is impressive, but the Republic is a sleeping giant that is loathe to commit any more resources than strictly necessary. Whenever the war turns particularly sour for the Republic the Senators of wealthy & influential worlds begin to commit more resources so the GAR can return them to their preferred comfort. At some point all wars lose their purpose and 'not losing' becomes a significant motivator for those who might otherwise believe peace to less-costly than war. After all, losing means an end to their accustomed comforts.
      Palpatine was a truly excellent manipulator,. In this case he does not even have to lift a finger to re-balance the galactic battle-field. His tweaking of the war was deliberately timed to ensure he gathered more power, almost irrespective of the concerns of the 'elite' of the galactic community.

    • @lerneanlion
      @lerneanlion 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@dhaburuk6494 The problem is Felucia itself. It is planet known for being full of bizarre and dangerous lifeforms. It will be a good place for the Separatist leadership to hide and fortify themselves. And with a bunch of factory worlds around, it will become a good Separatist bastion. And that is the point. Nobody really wants to go to Felucia unless they really have to. A debate within the Imperial Senate will arise about needlessly wasting more troops to such a place to continue the war effort or settle for a peaceful negotiation. Sure, the clones might not have a choice. But the Imperial officers and the Stormtroopers that come later ater the clones' production ended due to the costs will definitely not be happy about going to Felucia. Some might not even considered worth going for in the first place and would prefer to go tracking down the Partisans or dealing with the resistances on Mimban, Ryloth, Umbara and Kashyyyk instead. And that is the point here. With everyone in the Imperial military viewed the assignment on Felucia as nothing but suicide mission, they will do everything to prevent themselves from being stationed there. As a result, the war will lasted longer. So to simplify it, the war will lasted longer because nobody in the Imperial military wanted to go to Felucia and not even the government can forced them. But knowing Sidious, he might try to have the Separatist leaders who stayed there assassinated. Either by infiltration or a ruse through negotiation. If it is the latter, it will also be up to them as well that should they take the offer or not.
