today I want to have fun with my own voice. Turning my own voice in to a choir sound.
In the first segment I will throw in 5 kontakt libraries in here. Just to get some inspiration on which direction I want to take this.
In the second part of the video I will mainly create a patch from scratch using Grains and Europa to create a choir pad sound using my own voice

This is really a much bigger topic than it seems. The sound design capabilities that Reason offers are one thing, and definitely amazing, but the real thing for me here is how it pulls back the curtain from many of the so-called "must-have" sound libraries that are being pushed on us like crazy left and right. Every day, it seems, there's some new plugin or Kontakt instrument that promises magical innovations in sound that are really nothing new at all, nor that innovative - just ways to extract more money from composers and producers who don't realize they can make almost the same thing themselves, or better, because their own sounds are in fact unique.
The only real ingredients in many of those libraries are the source material and processing, most of which are already available in Reason and other systems (such as UVI Falcon 3, for example), hidden behind fancy names, a cool graphic, or animated background.
So, whenever I evaluate a new sound library or effect plugin, I always try to think how I could create similar sounds myself from what I already have, rather than keep spending more and more money on stuff that we don't really need.

true, I am liking it. Because I am also a huge fan of granular synthesis as a general topic. And since I already of knowledge on that part (eg: NN-19 as a granular synth). I love the part that it has some parsec vibes as well. Since it touches the realm of additive synthesis
