Lots of people have mentioned the change of food but giving the toddler a sippy cup can also be useful in this situation, even just to stop them dying whilst you cook them a different meal
I was having these EXACT problems with my toddler too recently and I wanted to rip my fucking hair out lmao. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s the house so moving probably won’t fix it.
Certain types of food always glitches in my game for toddlers too. Try cooking eggs and toast, that food item hasn’t failed me yet. Or since you have the high chair try feeding him snack food or juice. Good luck!!
I only feed my toddlers fruit and stuff from their inventory and that stupid glitch finally stopped. Also, I think they could “upgrade” to a different house/lot. Like a fresh start for everyone lol
What a happy surprise! I came home in the evening after celebrating May the first by walking with my friends for hours and hours. Absolutely pleased with the day but exhausted. And there is a new episode to watch while I have an evening snack and relax! Ah yes!
Could it be that gigs always get cancelled when he goes by himself because you're not there to place the candles that make you less scared, so he gets so terrified he runs out of the house and comes home? Thus cancelling the gig? He's been terrified every time he's left a gig after going himself.
I've had the toddler not eating glitch too, and I just usually have to make a different food (like hot dogs) and then they'll eat that. In my game, they wouldn't eat anything with fish, like the tilapia, bass, etc.
Had the toddler food problems as well. My toddlers would not eat garlic noodles. But when I made something else, like garden salad, they would eat that. So stressed over starving kid refusing to eat.
I love how with every update it brings more bugs !!!! And James being sooo honest is a breath of fresh air lol 😆. Keep up the good work, love the videos !!
It's so strange that one of the aspiration goals is to get injured. That feels almost irresponsible of the Sims. You should be doing everything to avoid getting injured.
Give Chaz some fruit or veggies like an apple or something. He’ll eat it quicker and it only takes about 5 apples to get his hunger full bar. And you’ll skip all the simulation lags.
For the lag bug - I usually click on the three circles or escape to force pause the game. Sit there for 5-10 sec and exit that menu, and your sims will be back to normal, 99% of the time :)
Toddler's eating was bugged a while back but I thought they fixed it. Mine stopped being bugged after one of the updates so maybe try to run a repair on your game? Also, they said they made haunted houses so they will get dusty after the most recent update I haven't played in a haunted house since the update but hopefully, that's fixed!
I enjoy this let's play and all the craziness in it. Suggestion : for the stuffed animal for the toddler you should get the one that came with the vampire pack. That stuffed animal doesn't have a mirror reflection which seems fitting for this household.
not sure if it's been said yet so sorry for repeating if it was. Certain meals are bugged on toddlers. FIsh dishes and some pasta dishes (garlic noodles/ pasta primavera) for some reason will just... not work with toddlers. I haven't fully tested all of the dishes but i stopped having to make the few that I do know such as the tilapia because none of the toddlers would ever eat.
Well, I was looking forward to more episodes...I just forgot we had a toddler and now a Sim that goes to uni, Isaiah is human and it's James controlling them, so chaos ensues, naturally. Wasn't the toddler not eating bug fixed? Is this another haunted house related thing that doesn't work? Just cheat the toddler's hunger need James

Yay! I’m not the only one who thought of that!
Lots of people have mentioned the change of food but giving the toddler a sippy cup can also be useful in this situation, even just to stop them dying whilst you cook them a different meal
I have the same problem of putting food in the fridge and then it not being in there :/
I love how toddlers are so hard to take care
Yay a new video! And it’s my birthday today! 🥳
🎉🎁Happy Birthday! 🎂🎈
@@irishduchess7577 Thank you ☺️
Appreciate how consistently you upload James! Thanks for all the great content.
My Toddlers will only eat Grilled Cheese, Mac and Cheese. Your so right, it was never like this before. Hope they fix these problems soon.
I feel like if I make food that’s too fancy my toddler won’t eat it, like the tilapia for example. Anything simple my toddlers always eat no issues
To be honest that's pretty accurate to real life. Toddlers avoid anything with much flavor or color on their plate no matter how hungry they are.
goofy stance means you're snowboarding with your right leg in front and regular stance is when your left foot is in front ;)
I find that my toddlers won’t eat certain foods-like they’ll just be a random meal that they’ll never eat.
Give Chaz some fruit or veggies like an apple or something. He’ll eat it quicker and it only takes about 5 apples to get his hunger full bar. And you’ll skip all the simulation lags.
You need to get Chaz his own mini fridge LOL
New Zealand problems: staying up til 2am just to watch James' video
Australian solidarity tho it's only midnight XD
not sure if it's been said yet so sorry for repeating if it was.
This is awesome, chaotic game play! I was thinking the toddler room next to the ghost room wasn't going to work! It is insane, much to my delight!
The toddlers not eating has happened to me several times. Resetting them or whatever they’re sitting on sometimes helps, otherwise I just cheat their food need.
The toddlers won't eat everything that you cook. They'll eat the simple meals salad, fruit salad and sandwiches 🥪
Since when do real toddlers eat salad?
he didn't eat the sandwich in the high chair either though
@@NannoAnno That's because James has no patience lol. If you leave the toddler be then the toddler will eat it. It takes forever, don't get me wrong, but they will eventually nom.
@@maidenminnesota1 Then I wish my nephew (age 12) were more like your kids. It’s hard enough getting him to eat anything that isn’t junk food. *sigh*
I always liked broccoli
My toddlers loved veggies and salad,
Still do. The trick is to put tiny pieces on the plate in Their High chair, while getting dinner finished. They Will taste it, spit it out, taste another one etc. And i just left Them to do that. They didnt complain about hunger or get impatient either, cause food was there. Eventually they ate the whole thing and ended up Loving it.
