I have to say watching "high-speed-Judd" is fascinating. What a great project and there will be decades of memories for generations of people under that roof. And the fact you forgot the edge gasket, that made me feel just a little less inadequate. :-)

I felt the same way seeing the Teva and black socks scaling the roof....

Thank you so much for this series! I am currently planning out my own sauna and I am trying to figure out my dimensions. Maybe I missed it in the videos, but what is your outer dimension of the pad? Thanks again!

The outer dimensions of the frame are 13' 6" square, so the pad is 14' 6" square, to allow room to support the outer walls, which wrap the frame.

What chimney pipe and roof penetration box is that?

I believe this is the kit I used, along with Duravent triple-wall pipe above the box and (now) double-wall pipe below the box.

I just purchased a saw mill and your project has me motivated. Great job.

I'm still dreaming about purchasing a sawmill, but it just might happen...

I love that you used real wood instead of stuff you bought from the store, even if it was probably a lot more hassle. It looks great in those overhead shots (such as 8:20).

Thanks. I do like it when I can tell you where the tree grew.
