When I was sixteen, my brother and I had one just like this. Malibu in blue, 327 and a 4 speed. Too much rust and not enough money meant we had to sell it - cause back then a 14 year old car was old old old. Nowadays I could put in new quarters and swap a LS and 5 speed and a brake kit and it would be like new. Give my left nut to have that car back for the 250 we sold it for in 1980.
The best hot rod mechanical expert is so cool, he wears flip flops and shorts like all of this is a day at the beach! Lucky, you rock! And thank for the new content, I always want more! 👍
Thanks for the Video..... Wow is that impressive.... Its probably something I should consider for my Chevelle, Ah well some day.....That car is sure going to be nice when you are done.
Don’t you hate it when steering wheels attack like that. That’s what I blame on my poor decisions, to many blows to head from various car parts! LOL. Thanks for sharing your projects with us.
Your experience and knowledge is amazing, have you ever done a 510 or similar? Your touch dealing with 60s and 70s classics could really change conventional opinion about what should be considered classic
robseg , most of the wires and light bulbs are labeled on the back of the instrument panel , I have taken 3 out and put them back in , everything works from gauges to turn signals
What about the wagon...lets see it..I wonder if it is the same one I saw for sale in East LA a while back on Craigslist LA for 6500 By the time I had the cash...SOLD So I wonder if that is the same one.
Hay lucky if you were going to put a new motor in a everyday driver on a budget 94 gmc Sonoma 4.3 v6 would you go with a remand Engine from Auto zone or summit racing I can do either one just wanted your professional opinion

Lucky you rock. If your looking for 1 bolt it went in the little hole on the pass side floor :)
Going to be super helpful when I yank the dash out of my 66! Thanks Lucky!

You know the struggle is real...
The life of being a mechanic,,
Normally within arms reach.

Nice work Lucky. Thanks for sharing.👍🏼🤘🏼😎

I'm getting ready to start on my 66 ElCamino. Thanks for the content!!
Lucky you are the absolute man . That’s going to be one ROCKN Chevelle when it’s done . Cheers
Lucky. I really do appreciate your videos. Your the best I've ever seen.
Can't unsee this asscrack, that's for sure!
Looking sweet!!!
Hilarious ... unbolting the dash, dropping the bolts down on the floorboard ... 2 points right through the hole ;-) Nice shot Lucky! :o)

Great video!!! U the man Mr Lucky!👊👊👊

Thanks for sharing
I'm glad to see someone else wears flip flops while working on a car :-)
You Do Good Work!
Nice work Lucky!!!
Thanks Lucky!
The car is looking good.
Lucky, your the man!
I gotta get me one of those tee shirts...
Woah! 3D visual effect as the dash comes right at the camera!

Its amazing what they can do to bring these cars back these days.
Nice work Lucky
We're so Lucky to be able row arch you're channel. U C what I did there.
When you take them apart the way they got put together, things just seem to go easier.
Well that makes working under the dash a lot easier
The Chevelle dash is easier than my 70 Road Runner. The upper bolts are under the front windshield rubber seal. Front windshield has to come out.
Same on my Duster. But a cutoff wheel fixed that problem and I got mine out with the glass in.
What's happening lucky and that shop looks naked good to see you buddy
Thanks Lucky
It's always a Full Moon in Lucky's shop! LOL
I know there was some speed up on the video but man you are fast. What did it take you with the seats 2 hours or less.

First view, no way! Waiting to see how your frame turns out, awesome I'm sure!
Just say NO to butt crack! Lol
Lucky please show more of the dash rebuild/wire because I have a 1967 that I need to do the same on. Thanks

Steering column drop with just 2 bolts under the dash? What was done on the other side of the firewall? The rag joint has to be undone?
That’s what I’m wondering
I dub the new key word "SUSHCOM" (trademark R lol) as the new word for "subscribe, share, comment" for RUclips Video posters. You're welcome.
Ränni näkyy!!
any one know how it call those rims, or wheels? look like stock, but there wide and Racing style..

Brandon Caison If it’s just a lite duty driver I would probably go with Jasper Engines or Summit
Does POR15 work? How can it be proved? I’m curious.
It’s as if you’d done that a time or two thousand before.
