Actually I think the condition of emperor time makes him less likely to die in the near future from a writing perspective, it’s not severe enough to where he’ll drop dead at any moment, but it is enough of a condition for us to know that Kurapika means business.
Also Togashi has never killed a main character before.
Hisoka will win the succession war, because as you may already know, his ability has the propriety of both rubber and gum

I'm pretty sure Tsrriednich is on the "has no chance of winning" tier. He has the anti-plot armor of being the most talented and hyped of the princes. Togashi isn't that predictable.
Well you do have a point. For that logic I would also take out Benjamin, the dude with more resources.
What if his power forces the remaining princes to fleet down into the boat. After they have fled Tsrriednich kills his father and takes the throne. This could drastically change everything in the world. Now Kurapika has to protect Woble from the mafia, the dangers of the new world, remaining enemies, all while trying to take down Tsrriednich.
He'll still have a large influence though.

Camilla can be killed by forcing her to go out of bounds, so maybe fugetsu (with the help of kaccho) can trick her into going into a door that ultimately kills her
I wonder if her hatsu would recognize that as being killed by fugestu. If so, then she is immortal, unless she accidentally kills herself.
You're assuming Camilla would even see Fuugetsu as worthy of even speaking to her, and the manga's already established she's not that kind of woman. She only takes audience with King Nasubi.
Too much is still unknown about most powers aboard that ship, Camilla's being no exception.
Does the power function by "blaming" someone for Camilla's death, or is it only direct physical harm that it registers? If the former is true, tricking her into a death trap would still count as killing her.
No matter who does it but chances are, if she doesn't win, she'll end up either restrained/nen-suppressed somewhere (a bit impractical: she'd need to be fed and kept healthy until her death of old age?), or someone will put her into some place with no escape, kill her in some way, and sacrifice him/herself to make sure her power has no more valid targets when she will, eventually, die again to thirst/hunger.
Also if she is caught off guard while not keeping up zetsu.

IMO Camilla is statisticly the most OP right now. She can be captured yes but due to her Nen beast she is NOT afraid of death, her all clan isn't. It will never be easy to manage, control or even try resonate with them. She have on her side some deep Nen experts (Fukataki) affiliate to Kakin's history and their own usage of nen like all the concept of The Untouchable (inspired by those in India. It's a real thing). Plus, she has a Nen Exorcist so she can counter a majority of the nen beasts and more specificaly Kurapika himself in the long run.

I would not want to underestimate Benjamin and Xhang Lei. Benjamin is essentially the No. 2 in the Empire and has army support. Even with that anger issue Benjamin has, I feel that Tserrednich would have a plan to carefully remove his brother. Xhang has a conditional alliance with Kurapika and I think his Beast has greater potential.
I for one want Halkenberg to win but Tse is a Meruem in this war and H needs to see the real monster that he has to remove apart from Kakin's brutal system

I think fugetsu has a chance, just due to her being accompanied by Kacho’s nen beast. Being a post mortem nen and an ability driven by love only triggered be death, it should probably be extremely powerful.

Would love to hear your thoughts on the phantom troupe and hisokas role to play in this arc
I feel the entirety of this arc is ultimately to be the battle for kurapika's soul. On one hand you have every goal he's every had, the remaining eyes and the spider (in a very vulnerable state). and on the other hand, he has a baby. the most innocent of us all, requiring nothing short of his constant protection.
In the yorknew arc we saw that if the situation came, kurapika could find happiness beyond his revenge. In that case however, it was a lie. He was "forced" to move on because he thought the spider was dead. In this current situation, if and when kurapika becomes aware of them and more importantly their current state... The desire to finish them would be tremendous.
And it really could go either way. If kurapika didn't care and just did as he pleased, he'd kill the 4th prince and the troupe and be halfway back to his base by the time any other zodiac was made aware of it. Or kurapika can find the resolve to throw himself and his desires under the bus. To be the protection for this kid, as someone ought to of been for himself when he needed it.
I love that kurapika is the MC right now, but squeeze some Leorio in dammit.

I really appreciate all the work you put into these HxH videos since no one has been talking much about it and they have helped jar my memory.
Kurapika is easily one of the best allies one can have in HxH, Wobble might not win but almost certain to survive.
My top 5:

3. Banjamin
4. Camilla

However woble is also interesting not only because of kurapica but also because shes still a baby. So she has a far more animalistic wish to survive and to fighg danger. I can imagine that that could make her nen beast be crazy strong.
For Woble, I think its the complete opposite. Babies have absolutely no concept of danger or survival. They will do the most dangerous shit without batting an eye. Survival instincts in humans tends to grow the older people get but for children, there is no such thing.
@@yteriaereh6467 what i want to say is that the baby if it feels danger its completely up to its emotions which are far more animalistic compared to the calculating way of thinking of an adult person. I coukd imagine that these emotions could have a big impact on the agressiveness of the nen beast. In terms of strategy to survive a baby is stupid but its irrational will for survival could be stronger than that of an adult.
Imagine if he continues the manga, and then halts it at a cliff hangar and makes us wait 7 more years 😭. I’m 17 years old I just pray togashi finishes before I’m 35

Hear me out here, Kurapika steals Comella’s resurrection ability, and then uses chain jail on the fourth prince, thus trapping the fourth prince, dying, and then respawning.

He doesn't care about anyone or anything other than himself and that can make everyone around him an enemy even his underlings.
His own bodyguard/teacher tried to assassinate him because she witnessed how awful and irredeemable he his.

I really do think there's a fair possibility of Wobble dying, only adding to the fuel of vengeance that is Kurapika. I also don't believe Tserriednich will win. I really don't have much to back that one. I just think some more crazy things will happen, as always. 15th Prince Tonpa could be a good contender as well.

You’re right, Woble could die as a means to fuel Kurapika even more. And Tserriednich vs Kurapika is almost a given of a fight that will happen that may result in Prince Tserriednich’s death. Also Halkenburg just seems like from a narrative perspective he’d actually do something with the throne

4th prince Terror Sandwich will likely die at the hand of Kurapika before the end of the war. I think the 14th prince will win. That or the current king. The current king is hiding something.

Personally I think Marayam is a bit underrated here. He probably won't win, but I think that the war will end before 13 of the princes die, and Marayam will live to see the end of the war. Marayam House is a ridiculous nen ability, and Bisky is pretty powerful as well. I think any of the princes will be surprised if they try to go after Marayam and Marayam House.
Chrollo booked the Exorcists nen, Tserriednich will ditch the war mid carnage to join up with the Spiders and steal the world instead!

Imo , having Bisquet as a bodyguard automatically puts Mariyam either in top tier 1 ateast OR tier 2 , and the fact that he now also has Hanzo , whom we have been shown seems to greatly regret letting Momoze be killed and has apparently resolved himself to protect her younger brother imo gives him a pretty good chance at surviving , we also don't really know the full extent of his nen beast as it was noted by Bisuet and Hanzo that his nen beast has grown larger and became more ferocious looking after Momoze's death , which indicates that his nen beast is either , like him a child that is learning and growing in power over time , or his power is perhaps directly tied to Maryams emotions
Thanks for the HxH I literally have no idea what on earth is going on with this arc and combined with the extremely slow updates +hiatus I honestly just want to get through the succession arc quickly.
I’d say give it a re read all in one shot, it made it a lot more enjoyable for me.
