I think it is worth mentioning that Hisoka was the third in arm-wrestling in the troupe, right after Uvo and Phinks, both of which are enhancers. This only indicates how powerful that crazy clown is. He's not only physically strong, but he's also an experienced battle veteran who knows how to plan for his fights. He held his own for a while against Chrollo, even though Chrollo had all the time to prepare for their fight and had to resort to using 4 abilities to beat him... I honestly think he's way stronger than we expect him to be...

Hisokas power scaling now is really weird. Hes very strong in general, extremely intelligent and his ability is applicable in any situation much like Chrollo. Before the fight with Chrollo he would play with his targets a lot, he wanted to fight people at their strongest, but after that loss I think he still has that value, its just twisted now. I think he still wants to fight the strongest nen users, he just wants to kill them to prove his strength, rather than beating them at their best. I think hes realized that at the level of nen skill hes fighting at now, you cant afford any handicaps.

Hisoka learned his lesson about letting your enemies have the advantage. When Chrollo killed him Hisoka had an ego death so big it reinvigorated his blood lust to a point where Hisoka will not give his prey a chance to counter him. Instead of letting his opponents have the advantage Hisoka is opting to play with his prey psychologically. Hisoka spares Machi so she can tell the Troupe and he displays the corpses of 2 members like a serial killer or mob goon would to intimidate a person. Hisoka is done savoring the heat of the battle and wants to stir the tdoupes emotions to feel the safisfaction of crushing a strong opponent.

I think The Phantom Troupe is going to get betrayed by Illumi and Kalluto. Kalluto specifically said he's trying to save his brother, and Illumi might have also been hired by Hisoka to kill the Spiders first.
I think there's going to be a twist: Half the Troupe dies AND the fight between the Spiders/Hisoka spills over into the Succession War, and Chrollo starts recruiting from either the princes, or others.
If Phinks gets his Ripper Cyclotron redirected that could kill Feitan AND Phinks, or possibly Nobunaga.
Hisoka is WAY too merciless to NOT pull some crazy Bungee Gum Bullshit on the trio.
Also... I think Hisoka, Kurapica, and some of the princes/guards will end up joining the fight against the Spiders.
It's going to get both crazy AND awesome.
EDIT: Chrollo needed SIX abilities to guarantee victory against the earlier Hisoka. He MIGHT have a broken combo of two or three abilities... but he can't just break the game again because Kortopi and Shalnark are dead.

I personally think that Allumi and Hisoka are absolutely in cahoots. He mentioned he wasn’t interested in fighting Fair, and what’s more unfair than installing two spies into the enemy ranks; and what’s even more unfair is the fact that those spies are both Members of the Zoldyck family.

the Hisoka that we saw in chapters 392 and 393 is not the real Hisoka.
    why?
1- Hisoka never use black clothes before.
2- we never saw Hisoka walking with his hands in the pocket.
3- we already saw 3 people asking Hisoka if he is Hisoka, and he never answered.
4- Hisoka eyes look empty, Hisoka looks depressed, very different from the Hisoka that come back to life in 357.
5- in chapter 393 Hisoka is watching a movie, and the movie is "the thing" from 1982, and this move is about a shape shifting alien.
6- the movie "the thing" has a quote that says "if I was a perfect imitation, how do you will know that I am not the real one?".
7- Hisoka asking Hiringh permission for ask a question, "can I ask you something", Hisoka never ask permission to ask a question to anyone.
8- in chapter 393 has a panel that focus in Hisoka's hand, but don't show to us the palm of his hand, even when Hinrigh will give him the card, he retract his hands like he don't want that Hinrigh sees the palm of his hand.
9- Hisoka asking who will win in a fight, Hisoka never asked this question to anyone.
    so who is this Hisoka?
in chapter 377 Bonolenov say to Chrollo that he can transform in a lot of things, but he's not smart to come up with a plan, so Chrollo say that wants him to do something for him.
Chrollo must ask Bonolenov to transform into Hisoka, then Chrollo use the convert hands, and transform into Hisoka.
that's why he doesn't want to show the palm of his hand to Hinrigh.
that's why when someone asks Hisoka if he is Hisoka, he not answer.
that's why this Hisoka is using black, because Chrollo just use black clothes, in the entire series, even when he disguised himself in heavens arena, he disguised with black clothes.
Chrollo just walkes with his hands in the pocket.
Chrollo is depressed, and has eyes that looks empty, because he just lost two friends.
Chrollo, if you look back in yorknew arc, he likes to ask people permission to ask a question, it was like this with Neon, it was like this with Zeno.
and speaking about Zeno, Chrollo is the one that likes to ask people who will win in a fight, because he asked the same question to Zeno: "in one on one, who will win... him or Zeno".
in chapter 377 shows Chrollo asking the mafia member, how to get to tier 1, and now, disguised as Hisoka, he get the pass to get to tier 1.
for me the real Hisoka is Belerainte, that hunter that likes to help Kurapika a lot, for no reason.
and about the question of the video:
what I think is that in one on one, Hisoka can win against any of the troupe, even Chrollo, but if he fights against two or more at the same time, he loses.

If anything he’ll just make things more confusing for his troupe members and make it harder to find the real hisoka. But your probably right about all this, there’s to much evidence, but your theory has some holes too.

@@joshuagcabashe2691 Chrollo probably disguised himself as Hisoka to find out the true intentions of the mafia. that's why he also asked to Hinrigh who would win, if Hinrigh said something like: "I want you to win, because I wish to get rid of the spiders". if he said that, Hinrigh and the whole mafia would be screw. but, Hinrigh is honest, and he really likes the troupe, so in the end, he been honest, was good for them, now Chrollo knows that the mafia just want balance. and I know that you must be thinking too, that Lynch said that "that was definitely Hisoka". but, look, everytime Lynch had punch someone, Togashi make sure that he show to us the bubble coming out of the body, to we know the truth. but when Lynch punch "Hisoka", no bubble come out of his body, but when she wakes up, she said that was definitely Hisoka. what I think is that, "Hisoka" counter Lynch punch so fast, that even though she had punch him, she was not able to hear what his body said, cause she was knocked out so fast, and the reason she says that is Hisoka , is because of the strength. she thinks that that "Hisoka" is so strong, that must be the real Hisoka, but not because she hear what his body said. get? that's why Togashi didn't show us, to let us with just the option of trust what Lynch said. but, of course, Togashi as the author don't want that we know, at least not for now, that that's not the real Hisoka, because when he reveal, he wants to make that big plot twist. but he give us hints.

I agree that Hisoka's probably saving Machi for last (or last before Chrollo), but she's one of the Troupe members we've *never* seen in an altercation that lasted longer than one grapple or one trap set off. We don't know her real combat ability any more than we know Nobunaga's, and she seems to genuinely believe she could kill Hisoka on her own. She also has that uncanny "Intuition" that doesn't seem like a nen power but has nonetheless always been accurate, even when she thinks it wasn't (e.g. Killua *was* connected to the chain user, but he didn't know it at the time, so Paku got a false negative). Hisoka restrained her easily because she had turned her back on him and wasn't expecting to be attacked. She's not going to make that mistake again, and, while the following is pure speculation, I think Machi's intuition only failed her there because Hisoka didn't pose an immediate danger to her. [insert Spider Sense joke]
Hisoka also might not be able to resist taking his time with her, since he seems enamoured with her support ability to sew limbs back on. She can't rebuff him with price gouging if it's *her* limbs, after all. That could give her the time she needs to lure him into some kind of trap.

  • @Etrodecim
    @Etrodecim Год назад +261

I think you're underestimating Machi. She experienced Hisoka's post-mortem nen first hand and she still decided to go it alone to find him. Machi would have to be confident in her own abilities and power that she can indeed take down Hisoka. Look at Shizuku and Bonolenov for example, they knew they couldn't stand a chance so they decided to team up with Chrollo. The Troupe are intelligent, Machi wouldn't be going alone if she knew she couldn't take down post-mortem nen Hisoka.

Hisoka is stronger than Franklin physically. Its been stated that Hisoka is 3rd in the PT when it comes to strength.
Feitan can't use his Sun at will as he needs to take quite a bit of damage first, and his "armor" is only there to protect him from the heat of his Sun and give him oxygen. Also Hisoka can boost his speed a lot with his Bunge Gum, so Feitan's speed isn't much of an advantage. Hisoka wins mid-diff.
The same applies to Phink's and his super slow attack and Nobunaga who admitted that Hisoka's Bunge Gum is difficult to deal with.
Chrollo only won because he had the location advantage, it won't be so easy when Hisoka attacks suddenly attacks him so I think Hisoka wins high-diff, especially since he got a post-mortem boost.

I think you are vastly underestimating the weirdness going on with Hisoka & Illumi in this arc. My "theory" based on all the evidence between the two is that Hisoka is disguised as Illumi and Illumi is disguised as Hisoka - - At least some of the time. Both people now have the ability to use nen to look like other people if they want - - Hisoka, very literally, used Texture Surprise & Bungee Gum to recreate his missing body parts/clean up his face after losing to Chrollo. Why can't he make it look like someone else? There are too many weird inconsistencies between the two ( coupled with the manga cover with Illumi holding flowers and missing a mouth ) that speak to this. Hisoka's speech pattern sounds like it's supposed to be Illumi. He's saying things like "Let me ask you a question" - - When he'd normally just ask the question. Meanwhile, Illumi is wearing knee-pads ( a Hisoka staple ) and asking for things like a shower ( something Hisoka is seen doing frequently ), knowing full & well that Illumi has literally slept in a hold in the dirt before.

I doubt we'll get half of these fights. In typical Togashi fashion, my guess is that we might get 1 fight, at most 3(for half of the spider members), and if the troupe dies, it won't be directly by Hisoka's hands but rather some catastrophe that occurs. There's a 50/50 chance we get a proper rematch...I mean- remember the last time(s) the series hyped up a fight? only to have a twist conclusion/development? I'd say there's actually a small but notable chance Hisoka dies in this arc.
Also about 3:24 while that's not improbable, I think his emission bullets would work differently then conjured or manipulated bullets, I don't think they would bounce upon contact with Bungee-Gum's transmuted nen, but rather dissipate after hitting it as a nen barrier of transmuted aura.(or they'd tear through the transmuted nen, either way, one dissapates/over-writes the other instead of affecting/influencing each other. the outcome probably comes down to which has a higher level of aura, it's all on how Franklin's enhancement and emission fair upgainst hisoka's enhancement. Hisoka has the advantage, but my point is that the bullets won't bounce...but I'm very curious to actually see the interaction).

I 100% agree with you. Reading the comments, not many see it that way. It is impossible for Hisoka, no matter how strong he is, to have so many NEN battles in a row. What I think is that it can surprise some when they are in other matters. It can also happen that some spiders die at the hands of some prince or Zodiac or another NEN user. Spiders are strong but not the strongest in the HxH world. As we always see, NEN strength or ability are not everything, it depends on the mental state and preparation. Hisoka is calm while the spiders are in a state of search and alert, which can generate quite a bit of fatigue as well. Not to mention that they also want to attack the mafias and everything that comes their way. Probably the Hisoka vs Spiders arc will continue after disembarking, unless of course there is a great war between everyone that I don't see very possible

    • @makeshiftgleeman7322
      @makeshiftgleeman7322 Год назад

@@shoganaix Or alternatively the cruise doesn't get to disembark. we could see a large scale catastrophe occur(the war is already in place, it's just more of a cold war, with threat of it all blowing to ash if the wrong buttons are pushed). after all, there's a few elements in place that might hint to an 'escape' option for the survivors to make it out of said potential catastrophe(such as the supply drops one can order, perhaps using them for a trip back). It's 50/50 imo, I can see things going so badly that the cruise doesn't make it, and only 20 or 100 survivors make it back to the main world(maybe others find unique ways to make it to the destination).
in favor of the equally likely possibility that they make it- introducing so many characters so as to have new and appropriate pieces to use on the dark continent should they arrive makes sense for Togashi. He might have realized he needs more new pieces to tell the story of the next arc.

The one I disagree with the most is probably Machi. It’s already hard enough to gauge how well the phantom troupe would do in fights since we barely see their abilities let alone see them fight. But from what we’ve seen from Machi so far I definitely think she would at least give Hisoka a very hard time, she seems to be one of the faster phantom troupe members being able to stop gon in less than a second- the same gon who fought Hisoka at Heavens Arena (I know Hisoka wasn’t fighting at his best but none the less). We haven’t seen any speed feats from Hisoka that trump Machi’s, especially without his bungee gum.
Machi’s nen threads are also formidable, not only being able to restrain which we’ve seen she’s very good at- but also have a lethal edge being able to slice and snap limbs that we haven’t seen Hisoka be able to do. Not to mention you Nobunoga the win despite us not knowing his abilities and Machi rankings higher than him in arm wrestling so basically being physically stronger. Also if confidence matters Machi was very confident that she would be able to fight against Phinks and Feitan to let Paku go, and even after the fact when the talk about killing her she’s still confident saying it won’t be easy to kill her. If we don’t factor in any unknown abilities from the two I think the battle comes down to who can basically trap who first, which would mean speed is probably the biggest factor- so from what we seen I think Machi would win but if she doesn’t she at the very least would give him a very hard time.

    • @eija4487
      @eija4487 4 месяца назад

@@AlucardAlucard-st6xr The version of Hisoka I was specifically talking about was the anime version, but even talking about the manga his post mortem nen didn’t make him stronger. If you go back and reread/rewatch the first time post mortem nen is explained isn’t that the nen becomes stronger after death, it’s that it persists/keeps going. Even in your example with Pitou, Pitou’s nen kept going because of post mortem nen- but it was stronger because of fueled by Pitou’s very strong loyalty to the king. So even if we talk about post mortem nen Hisoka I don’t think his nen is necessarily stronger and what I sad about Machi still stands.

I believe that Hisoka could potentially kill the majority of the members, but when it comes to the head, I would like to see a battle between Chrollo and Kurapika after Chrollo losing all the members of the Troupe and being broken like Kurapika, it would be amazing and brilliant seeing Chrollo in the same position as Kurapika, and then both having a battle to death and dying together, Hisoka´s future is uncertain, I still believe Illumi is not there just to add fuel to all this already crazy situation, I see him as an undercover agent working for Hisoka, but we will see, Togashi really loves Hisoka, he always like the chaotic element in his storylines, so until Hisoka can´t offer nothing else to the story he definitely is gonna be around, also Hisoka right now in terms of physical strength is the second in the Troupe ranking, he´s only behind Phinks, he is stronger than Franklin, Feitan and Chrollo are superior to him on the velocity area, otherwise I definitely see that a potential alliance between Hisoka and Kurapika and this alliance could be decisive and a major factor change, I see Hisoka able to end all the members in one on one combat, and more taking into account that this Hisoka has a new way of approaching combats now, he is over fair fights, still I saw Chrollo having the upper hand, but an eventual rematch isn´t gonna be as easy as it was the first time for Chrollo, and as Morel said in nen battles anything is posible, unless we are talking about Netero, Meruem, Gon and the Royal Guards

The thing about Hisoka vs Chrollo is that Hisoka has stronger Nen now having the Nen after death boost.
Normally when a Nen user dies and his Nen activates something after death such as if Kurapika's Nen attacked Chrollo, the user doesn't have access to the boosted Nen because they are dead but since Hisoka managed to survive, he should now in theory have stronger Nen than before.
Couple that with the fact that Chrollo now doesn't have access to two of the Nen abilities he had before and can be blindsided by Chrollo instead of planning for him, I think Hisoka takes it.

If he loses head or some limbs he could just stick them again with bungee gum or even create new limb with bungee gum. That gives Hisoka opening to fight more recklessly and more unpredictabely. I don't even mention that Hisoka know phantom troupe abilities soo he could just setup some traps with post-morlat bungee gum and possibrly one shots mkst of troupe members. Only high diff is Chrollo, but heavens arena match was kinda close, soo that post mortal nen boost could fill that gap in power to equal match
