Hey! I just bought the very same model from the very same company (Yankee Dabbler)! They have some really great deals called "Monday Night Closeouts" where we can get 50% or more off some nice trains. Note: I did find that the bogies needed to have the contact points of the axles reamed out a bit to get the wheels rolling freely and not derailing. Not a real problem once done.
Glad too see the sound was better sorted out. I am also of Scotts descent living in a foreign country (South Africa) I do hope you get more Union Pacific coaches so Big Boy can pull around a true to life consist although you may need the UP diesel to run in the consist and I hope there is enough track for it to run on, I think there is.
Beauties, I like the articulation. It’s probably been covered in a live or something but with all these racks you’re going to need a car manufacturing plant or something related on the layout! 🎉
I have a 12'x16" shelf layout set in the 1950s with CN Green and Yellow liveried Diesel Locos and auto racks did not exist so I dont have to expand my RR to fit them in. yours look lovely however.
Love em, but we got to see them last night 😊 I can't use that big stuff on my layout, I'm too small, I have a gift box of large stock waiting for you here in Oklahoma
Dang it Scott! I’ve been wanting an articulated autorack. It seems whenever I want a piece of equipment you get it. Well, if you get an Illinois Central SD70 standard cab in HO scale let me know lol.
Nice Dave, They look good on the track, so good of Greg, to send them to ya. ;-))
great gift dave well deserved my friend
Imagine if we had freight wagons that big here in the U.K. I imagine it’s taller than a standard double decker bus
All the best
Mark
" they need graffitti " Looks great Dave * HappyRails *
Nice additions to the fleet, Dave!
Very nice, Dave. Now you've got a nice auto rack train. Cheers from eastern TN

Yankee Dabbler’s “Monday Night Closeouts” are a great place to build up a collection.
Nice one Dave, the autorack is a peach, the ariculation is spot on, looks great, Yeah, Atlas rule, my fave company too. Good on Greg, a great gift.
Very nice. That is a very generous gift. Thanks for sharing.
Athearn has a place in my heart also. Greg, you are a cut above. Jersey Bill
Very nice.
They call it an articulated auto wreck I have two of them and skill and they run beautiful and they're made by Atlas by the way
Looking good, enjoy 👍🏻
Watching local railfan cams show a single NS lo
co pulling auto racks carriers all the time

Hadn’t really thought of that. Not sure if I will have space.
Really nice looking. I haven't seen the articulated ones like that before. Pretty slick!

Looks good Dave! Watched a 110 autorack (empty) Train in Buffalo this weekend and had every major RR car I can think of. Most had graffiti on them.

Hello I’ll tune in later
@Scott rails
Damn It Dave, stop making me want to buy autoracks.
love your videos Dave - can you tell me the approx length and width of your new layout please - thank you
It’s now 13 feet by 10. The curved sections are around 4 feet in diameter and the straights are around 2.5 feet deep.
