    I love this. I have just started making jewelry BUT I already have an inventory of beads that would shock many. My mother made jewelry for years, beautiful work, and when she passed away almost a year ago, I inherited the biz so here I am trying to learn. Almost all of my mom's catalogues are from Potomac Beads so this is where I am starting. Wish me luck.

    I forget about the halos! I love the focus they create. Great idea! Thanks, Allie!

    Thank you for sharing this incredible tutorial!
    You’re a great instructor 😊.
    I’ve often considered making chains ⛓ out of jump rings , but kept second guessing myself. No more 2nd guessing!
    I can’t wait to make this design!

    Thank you! Nice work...I 've been beading for 20 years and learned a couple new things from u.😊 My ideas to add would be to use large-sized crimp covers over the three crimps grouped together on each side, and perhaps a wire protector where you are connecting your pendant.💖

    I’d like you to do a close up of the crimping. I couldn’t understand.

    I wish you had demonstrated the process of crimping the two parts together. I'm a visual learner who has crimped before, but I couldn't see the junction well enough to sort out how it was done here.

    What size wire did you use?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  Год назад

      Hello! When stringing gemstones it is recommended to use a 19 or 49 strand stringing wire. For this particular necklace you can use a 19 strand. Here is a link if you need additional information potomacbeads.com/stringing-wire

    I don't understand why my beads keep coming apart i crimp the bead on the wire and it still falls apart

      Hello there! Try flat crimping. Use a pair of flat nose pliers and flatten the crimp bead. It's easier than crimping using crimp pliers. There is a trick to using crimp pliers and if it is not done correctly using the correct divots it may cause your necklace to fall apart. You also need to use the correct size of crimp beads for the bead string wire you are using. Here is a great video that explains how to use crimp beads and crimping tools that you may find helpful! www.potomacbeads.com/how-to/better-beader/better-beader-episode-014-how-to-use-crimp-beads-covers-tools.html
