No worries blizzard likes to ban in waves is what they like to say 😃😉 So in like 6 months when all the damage is done and the person has already made plenty of money GM 1 “hmm maybe we should do something about this?” GM 2 “ugh fiiiiiine” Mind you these aren’t just two of many GMs those are the only two GMs left. Then the person will be super inconvenienced having yo take 2 mins to create a new character and then cheat their way to level 55 in a day. The fact this gets rubbed in Blizzard’s face is sad and hilarious. Go get your $$$ cheaters. Blizz don’t care why should you?
The very true downfall of blizz was when they took out gms. When gms were apart of the game thats when we as players felt apart of the game. I remember having cool chit chats with them here and there whenever i had a problem
Gms we’re cool to have when the amount of players wasn’t astronomical and you didn’t have 100000 players to 1 gm. It’s understandable why they got rid of a majority of gms.

Which is why they got rid of gms and added ways to save money by automating everything. It’s hard to have a community when the game was as huge as it was back then. Blizz bans them in these waves so they don't outright get rid of all the botters/hackers. Every time they ban a new account now, they get a new subscription and another boosted character fee. It's literally more profitable for them to have these botters now than it is to have normal players, the only reason they moderately think about players is that players are the thing keeping the botters around.
I'm just gonna come out and say it: the few private classic servers still alive have next to no cheaters because their base is either so personal everybody knows everybody, or they have actual people behind the desks.

Lmfao. Happened to my runescape account from years ago. One day decided to log back in. Said I was permanently banned for exploiting. Next thing I knew I was able to sign in again after the message. And found my self with ashiiiiitttt ton of gold and almost maxed out stats.
That is pretty funny they were stacked with gold. Ya know, if gold farmers just left the hacked accounts like that, all stacked with gold, I think people would be a lot less angry at them. It's just heart breaking when they strip them of all their belongings, gold and even delete some of them. Like it's bad enough they hacked you, why they gotta be so cruel to boot. Some items they destroy aren't even worth anything to vendor and can't even be Disenchanted, they have to be deleted to be removed. It's like why did they bother to waste time typing out "delete" isn't that precious seconds they could use farming more gold??? Perhaps the GM was nice and added some gold on restore? Then thought it would be funny to spawn them at Bot. If so, good on the GM.
@@VixeyTeh I'm pretty sure they were still mid-farm when I got my account back because they all still had full inventories. But the GM probably should have rolled me back or something to that extent. Was pretty glad they didn't though I remember it being a lot at the time at least to me.
you'd think they'd just make anything bellow the ground in a dungeon or zone auto kick you and if you do it enough you'd get a suspension or ban but guess that's to much coding lol
I didn't get Cataclysm right when it went live, but shortly after it launched my account got hacked. When I got it back I found it had been upgraded to Cataclysm and was full of cataclysm herbs and extra gold.
same lol except when I came back to the game my account was banned and blizzard declined two separate support tickets to give it back :( I'm pretty sure if a human being looked at the ip logs they'd see some random country for however long, after years of me playing in the same location, not to mention the fact that looking up my characters on the armory showed that all the gear and stuff was vendored lol not too many regular people do that I imagine - that's the only reason I noticed and came back to the game at first was because one of my friends texted me that they saw me do that and apparently robbed the guild bank lol

My original WOW account got hacked not long before original TBC release. It had a PVP rank 14 horde character on it and a rank 13 Alliance character. By the standards at the time, if they'd sold the account, they would have gotten a few thousand dollars for it... instead they stripped the characters naked, vendored everything they had and sold the gold... took over a year to get the account back from Blizzard as they took their time 'investigating'. They also weren't able to restore my characters/items as they'd 'misplaced' the logs for them during their' investigation', so I got an account back with a naked level 1 character on it halfway through TBC. Had started a new account by then, but was that utterly depressing, how that was handled.
I had an authenticator on my account once. I didn't have an active subscription and was playing diablo 3 at the time. My phone broke and I called up blizz to remove the authenticator, so I could play diablo 3 later. I then went to sleep.(Senior in high school, and wanted to stay up all night) I don't remember exactly, but i think my password was changed when I woke up. I freaked out and changed it and logged into Diablo 3. Nothing out of the ordinary. I tried logging into my frozen WoW account, only to be greeted by the character selection screen. I don't remember EXACTLY how much gold I had, but none of my gear or anything important was missing, and I still had a few hundred gold. Needless to say, I took advantage of my free month of game time. Although, I think the hacker did a charge back or something because my account was frozen again like 12 days or so later.
Hell they don't even need more GMs, instead of "fixing" retail devs should focus on fixing exploits in game, or hell better yet, FIX THE EXPLOITS USED TO SCREW OVER EMPLOYEES IRL.

Dumbest idea i ever heard. Do u know how easy to solve it for a BOT? A program can do it much faster then u ever do, no matter what type of it u implement in game and it will make more anoying for players only. Example a bunch of enemy faction try to kill u when u running to do a dg when all ur team mates are already in, and boom u have to solve the puzzle and u dead. :) (pve servers not count as servers for me sry)

Shame you never experienced real vanilla classic then, tbc and wotlk had quality of life changes but already created a dead non mmo feel just make as much toons and do your daily's voa and 10 arena games

Anybody who thinks that vanilla was better either forgot how awful it was, or never had to show up for raid an hour early with a full set of spirit gear so they could make water for everyone. Or have their entire role in the raid basically being just refreshing 5 minute buffs on all 40 people. Or get declined for tanking/healing a dungeon because you aren't a warrior/priest. TBC, at the minimum, was when the game truly became playable and more than just a massive waste of time.
In wow classic i encountered similliar bots in waters of desolace, farming 44lvl druids... 24/7, no responding , nothing. I reported them to blizzard few times.. ofc no reaction from blizzard in few weeks. So i decide to leave that broken game. Wow was great once , long time ago .
Whenever *ANY* thing (including businesses) gets too large it becomes hard to control. I feel Blizzard has lost control of WoW some time shortly after WotLK. Idk if it was during Cata or MoP. The dungeon finder and BG finder was the beginning of streamlining the game. The whole game is almost entirely streamlined now. You don't even have to leave the capital city to do anything really. LoL!! They did the same thing with open tickets.
Yeah WOTLK was the last time passion was used, you could still feel the love the original team had for dungeon and dragon-like adventures and the fantasy books of the time. Then a bunch of bastards in suits started messing things up...trampling on the original team, imposing their own money-grabbing agenda.
I discoverd TBC on private servers back in the day and played it for years on differente servers and i have to say TBC on blizzard servers was the worst tbc experience i had...
Why do people even care? I have been playing this game since BC untill Shadowlands and never has anything like this affected me in a tiny bit. I just mind my own business...
that was a possibility in vanilla wow (not classic), Since there was no double checking you could spoof your quest rewards. for example you could get thunderfury by handing in an inkeeper level 5 quest. Or get onyxia neck/trinket by spoofing it.
Game is complete freeforall at this point. Make/use scripts all day. There are no consequences from blizzard and you are only gimping yourself if you don't.

Has been 5 months since i abandoned Wow after playing 7 years and i feel wonderful. Didn't know that there are so many good games besides wow, games where you actually having fun. Battlefield 1/V/2042, Forza Horizon 4/5, No mans sky, AC Valhalla, Cod mw and warzone. I got them and i want to spend +1k hours in each of them. Fuck World of Warcraft
Why they Just dont remove herbs and mines from Dungeons and give you a reward in Form of herbs or mines by success Fully ending the dungeon in the end... Its Not officially Blizzard Like in Original TBC but i dont think anyone besides bot owner would mind

@@adamarzo559 its a cheat knowing that you need flying mount to get there, that you can't get summoned by a warlock and that you get your flying mount only at lvl 70 (only exception are druids that get the flying form at lvl 68). So the dude probably used fly hack to get up there!
@@aminemalek4213 I do agree with you that they most likely used a fly hack. Regular people are not farming Botanica.....BUT in saying that not every sub 70 player is hacking to get there. You can indeed rocket boots and slow fall yourself there from, don't quote me on this, blades edge mountain.
While bots surely are a bane on this game, correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you have a warlock summon you to the Botanica despite not being 70 and having flying? It's been a few years since I played and BC was over a decade ago so my memory of it and how to get in isn't that fresh.

Dumbest idea i ever heard. Do u know how easy to solve it for a BOT? A program can do it much faster then u ever do, no matter what type of it u implement in game and it will make more anoying for players only. Example a bunch of enemy faction try to kill u when u running to do a dg when all ur team mates are already in, and boom u have to solve the puzzle and u dead. :) (pve servers not count as servers for me sry)

Anybody who thinks that vanilla was better either forgot how awful it was, or never had to show up for raid an hour early with a full set of spirit gear so they could make water for everyone. Or have their entire role in the raid basically being just refreshing 5 minute buffs on all 40 people. Or get declined for tanking/healing a dungeon because you aren't a warrior/priest. TBC, at the minimum, was when the game truly became playable and more than just a massive waste of time.

In wow classic i encountered similliar bots in waters of desolace, farming 44lvl druids... 24/7, no responding , nothing. I reported them to blizzard few times.. ofc no reaction from blizzard in few weeks. So i decide to leave that broken game. Wow was great once , long time ago .

Whenever *ANY* thing (including businesses) gets too large it becomes hard to control. I feel Blizzard has lost control of WoW some time shortly after WotLK. Idk if it was during Cata or MoP.
The dungeon finder and BG finder was the beginning of streamlining the game. The whole game is almost entirely streamlined now. You don't even have to leave the capital city to do anything really. LoL!! They did the same thing with open tickets.

Yeah WOTLK was the last time passion was used, you could still feel the love the original team had for dungeon and dragon-like adventures and the fantasy books of the time.
Then a bunch of bastards in suits started messing things up...trampling on the original team, imposing their own money-grabbing agenda.
I discoverd TBC on private servers back in the day and played it for years on differente servers and i have to say TBC on blizzard servers was the worst tbc experience i had...
Same with classic, vanilla private servers were a way better experience than the shit blizzard gave us
Looks like most of the current bot exploits can be solved by blizzard just moving or straight up removing gathering and chest items in dungeons...
Or just add alpha / dead Zones around the spawn locations outside the areas.

Sadly u need to have the permission on your account to use Gm command and i believe there is low chance someone find how to get access to that.
that was a possibility in vanilla wow (not classic), Since there was no double checking you could spoof your quest rewards. for example you could get thunderfury by handing in an inkeeper level 5 quest. Or get onyxia neck/trinket by spoofing it.

Has been 5 months since i abandoned Wow after playing 7 years and i feel wonderful. Didn't know that there are so many good games besides wow, games where you actually having fun. Battlefield 1/V/2042, Forza Horizon 4/5, No mans sky, AC Valhalla, Cod mw and warzone. I got them and i want to spend +1k hours in each of them. Fuck World of Warcraft

@@adamarzo559 its a cheat knowing that you need flying mount to get there, that you can't get summoned by a warlock and that you get your flying mount only at lvl 70 (only exception are druids that get the flying form at lvl 68). So the dude probably used fly hack to get up there!
@@aminemalek4213 I do agree with you that they most likely used a fly hack. Regular people are not farming Botanica.....BUT in saying that not every sub 70 player is hacking to get there. You can indeed rocket boots and slow fall yourself there from, don't quote me on this, blades edge mountain.

While bots surely are a bane on this game, correct me if I'm wrong but couldn't you have a warlock summon you to the Botanica despite not being 70 and having flying? It's been a few years since I played and BC was over a decade ago so my memory of it and how to get in isn't that fresh.
For a few instances including this one you specifically can’t use the warlock summoning until later patches.
