If your target shooting on static range sight alignment is key… if your shooting under stress real world incident both eyes open and on target and at best pick up just front sight (point shooting)
With any Ambi pistol, get your thumbs lined up with each other, and aim with your thumbs, too. In low light, when moving, or even aiming around a corner, or over an obstacle, you get a good sense of what you're hitting, and where you're thumbs are putting it.
I love that the gun world is evolving. People training to look at different things and shooting with both eyes open. If you can effectively do things the natural way I don’t see the problem. It should be taught to try to do things naturally if possible.
facts sight picture should always stay the same when aiming. Plus make sure trigger squeeze is at the meaty natural part of the finger with the thumb at the highest grip of the trigger handle. And when it comes to pistols let the pistol take control and when it comes to rifles your in control, becoming deadly with any weapon requires a good zero and great breathing. Push the target 85m back you will have so.e point of aim to point of impact to do.
As a young kid I have learned to not aim with iron sights or even sights. Something I taught myself with airsoft weapons at first. Then proceeded to actual.
If you have any problems with that the best way to learn is aight focus 1 eye closed-> both eyes open and focused on front sight->target focus with sights in peripheral. I’m suprised it was so easy going from airsoft to real guns because it’s easy to lose the alignment with the added recoil but I guess you’re doing a good job with keeping it in your peripheral
Shooting gun is a skillset. Especially when aiming. My first time at the range I was cocky and missed so many shots. I got humbled really quick after that. I learn how to properly grip/aim/shoot. The smallest detail can help you shoot better!
I know some people will think this video is goofy but there is some truth to it. Lieutenant Colonel William Fairbairn of the Royal Marines seriously innovated modern pistol shooting. He traveled the world training various police departments, militaries, and special operations units how to shoot pistols. He argued it was better to get a quick sight picture that's focused on the target instead of the gun's sights because getting the first rounds out in a firefight was more important than pinpoint accuracy. He's not saying don't use your sights, he's saying don't let the whole world turn into a blur just so you can focus on a little white dot.
This is certainly true to a point. I’ve been taught to shoot like this at ranges up to around 10m, especially if it’s just quick shooting. You hardly need to aim at that range as it’s more instinctive shooting, but for further distances is always foresight in focus, target is blurry and aim centre mass. I was taught by British Army and now armed police. The training is the same for both.
For some reason ever since I was a little kid with my papaws 22. Revolver I’ve always been able to point shoot really well. I can’t hit a soda can but I can point shoot a pumpkin at about 15-20 yards without looking down the sites.
You’d think with all the cods people would know this. You don’t focus on the cross hairs, but passively use it as a guide while primarily focusing on the target. Interchangeably the crosshairs for the iron sights.
I tried the rifle shooting. Its the easiest. Like you can shoot a small target with a radius of 5 cm from 20 metres easily. But the precise shooting is tough. You need to hold your breath and stuff and requires patience and focus.
aim comes naturally. if you shoot calm and collective-like, just focus on your target and breathe naturally with a firm but not locked-in stance, you'll get better and better the more you shoot
Aiming fast and accurately takes time to master so get comfortable and take your time between shots and do what works for you. The Proper technique is the one that works best for you

Front sight post is your focal point for irons, blurry target and rear notch, target focused for red dots and othernoptics
I do get your message on how to line up your sights with all the other comments aside lls. Thank you brother nice gun.
not bad! pretty smooth and very accurate 👌 im interesting in watching when u decide to attack that tower with some speed!!
With any Ambi pistol, get your thumbs lined up with each other, and aim with your thumbs, too. In low light, when moving, or even aiming around a corner, or over an obstacle, you get a good sense of what you're hitting, and where you're thumbs are putting it.
"YES LORD" on that gun is WILD😂
I love your content my boy.
I love that the gun world is evolving. People training to look at different things and shooting with both eyes open. If you can effectively do things the natural way I don’t see the problem. It should be taught to try to do things naturally if possible.
Thanks for the great tips brother God Bless
facts sight picture should always stay the same when aiming.
Both eyes open you can focus on sight and target simultaneously but its better to do with red dots
He is right, just focus on the target
That Bih SOO HARD!! 🔥🔥💯
Well first off you lined up your targets but you are referring to backplate shooting correct. Good job 👏
That's such a clean build
😂😂😂 bro I’m lost, it looked like you focused the iron sights😫🤦🏾♂️😂😂
It’s simple it’s like throwing a pass you don’t focus on the ball when you throw you focus on your target and lead them if they are moving.
@@Flashgordon53 I have improved quite overtimes with knowing when the bullet drops happen an such. And it's so much easier seeing my target as well.
YEA AT THIS POINT, HIS POPS GOTTA BE PROUD 🥲💪🏼
Shooting gun is a skillset. Especially when aiming. My first time at the range I was cocky and missed so many shots. I got humbled really quick after that. I learn how to properly grip/aim/shoot. The smallest detail can help you shoot better!
I always focused on rear and front sights while perpherial vison was target focused. Center mass at 15 yards every time. Head shots at 7
That’s a seriously nice piece
Your right focus on trigger squeeze instead. You can line the sights up all you want, but if you don't pull the trigger right, you still won't hit
I amaze at how some don’t talk about using off the wall sight for moving targets.. and am not even certified.
P3 Cool reading! Thank you! 🍀💫
Nice! Can honestly say I've never seen that trick shot before lol
Hearing that slide sing after seeing that mirror sheen was great
sometimes I be forgetting how beautiful that Thang is masterpiece
I appreciate your trigger discipline.
Amt 30 cal u have to do a review on that Jawn🔥🔥🔥🙏
Shot # 2, quite impressive Sir!
For some reason ever since I was a little kid with my papaws 22. Revolver I’ve always been able to point shoot really well. I can’t hit a soda can but I can point shoot a pumpkin at about 15-20 yards without looking down the sites.
now i love gloxs but 1911 just hits different with the extended berel
Amazing camera quality 👌
You gotta slowly squeeze the trigger so it won’t move when you pull the trigger last minute before it fires.
That skin is amazing 🔥
I love going to the comments. People know everything 🤓
Aiming fast and accurately takes time to master so get comfortable and take your time between shots and do what works for you. The Proper technique is the one that works best for you
Congrats on 1m subs
Eye on the target and focus on front sight post right before the shot and you’ll hit your target. That’s what I was trained on.
I was wanting to try that at the range fr thanks for the vid letting me know it doesn't work 😂
Oh look you know how to pull a trigger wow I’m so impressed
Sight enemy slack up and squeeze…etc
