You mean the limbal ring in his eyes? Yeah, that's extremely attractive. The limbal ring is supposed to go fainter with age, guess Fassy's skin is lying about his age. The man's refused to play Bond saying he looks like he's 50. :( His eyes are his best physical feature and I'm particularly attracted to his dark and curled up eyelashes, they look like he's wearing mascara on some close up camera angles. Absolutely beautiful. Though I often find his intense gaze deeply unsettling but fascinating all the same. Great actor.
Well, apparently he said so in a recent interview: www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/michael-fassbender Too bad he indulged in unhealthy habits and didn't take care of his skin. Or maybe, it's just very bad aging genes. He's the exact opposite of Keanu Reeves and Elijah Wood. Poor Fassy. He's still quite hot though.
This is a good interview. You can see his perceptiveness, though he still has a childlike, endearing friendliness. I followed Fassy's movies before he was a star. I first saw him on the television series Hex, the show wasn't the best thing he was in, but I noticed his intensity and charisma even then, and ability to be subtle. I feel like I've watched him grow over the years, trying on lots of different roles and finding out more about the world of movies. He used to seem more uncomfortable in interviews,I felt like he was struggling to find the words to express what he felt. But now he seems much more relaxed, conversations come easily to him. I am glad because he is beautiful and I think he is one of the most talented actors on the planet. I know that his life has not been without drama, but he seems like an honest man with a big heart underneath all the tough characters he plays.
He is far too big a star for James Bond, they always pick actors who haven't really broken through yet and who are mostly remembered for Bond afterwards (even Connery didn't have a second career until he was mid-fifty and grew a beard).
Look up the interview he & James McAvoy did w/ Peter Travers, during the "First Class" press tour. He said, "Look, this is the most expensive audition for James Bond that I think you're ever gonna see." It's actually quite hilarious.
Michael Fassbender is a very handsome man, a very great actor, BUT it's his voice that really attracts me to him, he could read the phone book and I'd be seduced. Him and Matthew MacFadyen.
Kjersti, you're a celebrity whisperer. You always get them to talk in a way that makes me think they're comfortable, like they're finally able to say what they wanted to say, instead of following an interview script. It's natural and meaningful when you do it. I can't find interviewers who can do that other than you. Helluva job, girl.
This actor is incredible! Every time I see him he seems like a different person. He disappears into his role to the point that when you see him you say" is that the same guy?"
+christie racher the theme is pretty dark and relationship in them are illegal. but while watching it i was thinking that i would trade places with that girl lol
+Kjersti Flaa (Junketlife) I totally agree, in these promo interviews actors always get such dumb questions delivered with a huge lack of personality but this was totally different. Very refreshing to see someone showing genuine interest and intelligence. Great job! You're very pretty as well x.
Such a great actor. Sometimes I wonder how long he lives the life of whatever the character he performs to make it look so real. He definitely should be on more movies and deserves more awards for his A++ acting.
just so interesting to see him play this role, because ironically he does have a preference for black women in real life and it's just so weird to see him as a slave master :(
No lie. She might just be my favorite film cast interviewer. Most interviews follow the text book and ask different versions of the same questions. She always manages to get some insightful and unique information from those she interviews. This was refreshing.
He's very handsome and has a masculine look, but on top of that, his interesting personality and charm adds to that. It's a formula to make girls swoon :)
***** Oh, yeah, I remember Colin O' Donoghue. He was in the movie "The Rite", he played Philip of Bavaria in season 3 of "The Tudors", and he's now Captain Hook on "OUAT". And even though Pierce Brosnan is kind of up there, that doesn't mean we should leave him out. He's still a good-looking dude.
hello Kjersti, I'd just like to say that I really like your interviews. You're different from many other interviewers and it's refreshing. You can ask meaningful, sometimes personal questions without seeming nosy or intrusive. In fact, you seem genuine, and that's what I like best here. Part of it also, I think, is that you seem to actually listen properly to the actors' answers. As a result I feel like I actually learn something about the person behind the role, for a change. I think the actors like your style, too. If I were an actor I would appreciate it, anyway! Keep it up!
Aw, thank you so much for saying that. So many wonderful compliments. I always hope to get an interesting conversation going when I meet the actors - instead of just shooting questions at them. Thank you for recognizing that and thanks for sharing your thoughts :-)
I agree with the folks who say this guy is so good. Different in every role and scary in his depth of character as well. 12 years is a great movie with fantastic performances and directing,.
No way Fassy is not a mummys boy; he's an alpha male, so there is no need for him to control a woman like CG does. In fact the book is so badly written it full of cliches and totally boring.
Tripti Thakur Absolute BullShite! I work with a girl who worked with the makeup artists on a film he did and she said, Michael is very conservative, serious about job, calm and absolutely professional!
He is so different to the characters that he has played in his movies so far, I just love him regardless. He's an amazing actor, loved him since X Men First Class! xxx
he is so vastly talented and one of the best actors at the moment. every time when i look at him i find him very serious, brooding and kinda intimidating. love him as magneto and i actually think he would make one hell of a batman.
I loved him in his other film works before this movie (not like a hipster thing, seriously), he's shown fantastic acting. But his portrayal of Epps made me feel so fucking angry I actually felt like I didn't like Fassbender for some period of time. Of course, for that, I realized just how phenomenal he was to make me actually feel like I hate HIM, not just as Epps; just seeing Fassbender made me feel an "oomph," like, UGHHHH, Epps.... wait, he's NOT in character, this is Michael. LOL Chiwetel and Lupita alike, both made me feel...so many feels, I can't even describe all the feels.... The feels.
"Blinkered" is now one of my new favorite words. It's so cute. He's such a charming, sweet guy. I love the enthusiasm w/ which he talks about making the sound-effects, along w/ just the right bit of matter-of-fact attitude: "No, just a lot of years out of work."
He did fantastic in 12 Years A Slave because I fucking HATED him in that movie, absolutely loathed him! I was on the verge of tears with that painful scene with Lupita... But I couldn't stop staring at his eyes, they were so beautiful. But he's beautiful, so it fits! :)
I love Jared Leto with all my heart and Barkhad Abdi is one of the most amazing actors ever but I wish Fassbender had won an award for this role because as much as I love Michael Fassbender, I LOATHED him like no other in this film. His acting was convincing. I couldn't even think of how hot he is :p ..... Now, seriously though, back to reality ladies, is he sexy or what!?! hehe
Or "You know", or even "It's like". We'd all need new livers. Of course, getting them would have to wait until we were all done, drunkenly dancing to "Blurred Lines".
@водка Obviously not. The original comment was clearly referring to his accent, when you arbitrarily interjected that he was "german", implying that's some sort of german accent.
Kjersti, I speak on behalf of those who admire your journalistic skills and more than anything else, you blow the stereotypical - giggly, flirty, overbearing, and worse, vacuous - female interviewers into bits. And you do it with impeccable skills, integrity and elegance. :)
+sweartomisbehave didion Wow, what an amazing compliment. I think its the nicest comment I ever gotten here on RUclips. Thank you so much. Please keep watching. I really, really appreciate your support.
It's not that he's not hot because I'm not blind... but the first thing that always gets to me as fan for many years is that he's such commanding presence in the screen. U can't not get drawn to the character. I mean in Frank we don't even see his face and yet you can't get your mind off that character.
Is "blinkered" a primarily UK term? I've heard Jason Isaacs use it in an interview before, and now Michael, but I don't recall ever hearing an American (actor or otherwise) say it.
"People ask, 'What do you do? Do you go method?' And I say, well it's kind of impossible. I got a black director. He's my boss." Good one on Fassbender's part...
He's gonna play one of my favorite fictional characters, Harry Hole. Will be fun to see him in a film made in my own country. Wonder how he'll pronounce the last name. If he'll say it in the way that would be natural (but kind of wierd) in english. Or if he'll go for the norwegian pronunciation.
He's just downright beautiful. Let's just say it as it is.
He's Old School Hollywood like Peter O'Toole, which is why everyone adores him.
David Hoang He's Peter O'Toole but way more shark-like
David Hoang
I heard they modeled the look of David the robot ("Prometheus") after the way Peter looked in "Lawrence of Arabia."
His eyes are absolutely striking.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I love the thin black ring around the ice-blue iris. You can see this whenever the camera does a close-up.
You mean the limbal ring in his eyes? Yeah, that's extremely attractive. The limbal ring is supposed to go fainter with age, guess Fassy's skin is lying about his age. Emerald Radiance I've heard that certain quirks about peoples' eyes show their personalities. And how on Earth can this man think he looks 50?
Well, apparently he said so in a recent interview: www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/michael-fassbender
Too bad he indulged in unhealthy habits and didn't take care of his skin. Or maybe, it's just very bad aging genes. He's the exact opposite of Keanu Reeves and Elijah Wood. Poor Fassy. He's still quite hot though.
@@emeraldradiancemadinamunawwara Those baby blues have a hypnotic power all their own.
"For me I like going in and out..." Yeah pretty sure that's what a lot women want as well, Mr. Fassbender.
Whenever he Wants.....
Oh, geez. Lol. If he saw this comment, he'd probably blush like mad.
in hungarian fass(fasz) actually means dick... juuuuuuuuuuuuuuust sayin'...XD
Krisztina Lakatos Well, that's certainly interesting. (giggle) You learn something new every day.
haha well, it's kinda distracting most of the time :D

***** Thank you for sharing that.
Very well summed up writing about this amazing person!
Glad that you found him at the early stage.... and he has a long way to go now!
Yes! Saw him in Hex and then I saw Fish Tank and I was sold!!
I honestly don't think people appreciate just how perfect Michael Fassbender would to play James Bond.
I see him more as a bad guy in a bond film not the bond still like Daniel Craig as bond
He is far too big a star for James Bond, they always pick actors who haven't really broken through yet and who are mostly remembered for Bond afterwards
(even Connery didn't have a second career until he was mid-fifty and grew a beard).

I guess he is a complicated person .
its very similar to Richard Madden
His voice his incredible yes

@@Flaawsometalk it's true though
If I were given a chance to interview Michael Fassbender I most probably would FAINT! Hahahahaha
For me i would laugh in a silly way,i would be even more clumsy than usual,i would get red like a tomatoe 🤣🤣🤣
This actor is incredible! Every time I see him he seems like a different person. He disappears into his role to the point that when you see him you say" is that the same guy?"
I agree with you....
Hands down one of the best actors of our time.
I have the biggest crush on Michael , he's so hot.

Me too!!! He did a really nice job acting in this movie! He played one of the hardest role in the film.
bremenfan29 what film
soooooooo sweet....he was excellent as magneto
+l.xtasy Fassbender is serious and focus as an actor. Yes, he was great as Magneto.
He was very good in the role .
Perfect magneto
Perfect choice for the role of Eric aka magneto
An astonishing actor. Talented, beautiful, surprising & sexy. Each of his performances is breathtaking. We love you, Michael! Stay cool!
LOVE the way he talks, he gives great response to simple questions :)
Great voice, a hunk, striking eyes, all good but let's not forget, most importantly, a brilliant actor too.
he has a gorgeous smile
Fascinating intelligent guy. Best actor of the last 20 years, bar none.
I love your questions and the way you ask them. Smart.

just so interesting to see him play this role, because ironically he does have a preference for black women in real life and it's just so weird to see him as a slave master :(
Have you seen his past girlfriends? They're black, some of them haha.
Yes I noticed that
Michael Fassbender is the the best actor currently in Hollywood. I watch every movie he's in just to see him. Incredible performances every time.
Michael Fassbender=awesome

Looool "People ask if I go method, I can't I've got a black director!"😂😂 gosh this man is perfection
And he & Steve McQueen are pretty close friends, so...yeah. (giggle)
