seen the movie enough times to remember the dialogues ... how truly human of a film ... hope "Midnight" releases soon and lives up to the two "Before" entries ...
1.This live session was on "The Great Show of Nina Simone Live in Paris"(Accord 1996),but long out of print. 2.This song can be found in "Nina Simone - The Tomato Collection." 2CDs (2002).
Jessie: I am just happy to be with you, I am, I am so glad you didn't forget about me ... I am just happy to see you even if you have become a angry manic depressive activist. I still like you. I still enjoy being around you.
This is the version (Live in Paris 1968, a bit quicker and shorter) featured in Before Sunset, and not 1962 Village Gate. I think it´s the best one, but very dificult to find, one of the best live performances I have ever heard.
Jessie : ' I know ' and he could have add like Nina said, just in time, you found me just in time, I was lost, nowhere to go, now you are here and I know where I'm going, no mo doubt of fear, I found you...
This entire concert is amazing! If you have any more recordings from this performance to share I would be much obliged (especially "Please Read Me" and "House Of The Rising Sun"). Thanks!
