    Recommend adding lead top the to increase it swing weigh to 330+. Bring this racquet too a new light. Being the guy that always used control frame type but craving more power and spin without the ball going out of the court. This racquet does it with the weigh. For starters the frame type to me feels like a cross between an old prestige and radical which feels like comfort to me. But gives me the power and spins i always wanted.

    I received my Extreme Pro and got it out on court yesterday using the factory strung HEAD Lynx Tour with overgrip and dampener. I'd agreed with the majority of what Harry and Jarred said apart from the stability. Of the 305g racquets I have - Blade 98 V8, Ezone 98 23' and Percept 100D the Extreme Pro just doesn't feel like it as dependable particularly when trying to plough through the ball on the forehand.

      @RobTennisBeckenham 2 дня назад

      Oh nice I've got the ezone 98 and thinking about this or the percept 100d. I found the blade 98 v8 way too underpowered for me.

      @OldManMidnight 2 дня назад

      @ all good choices which suits different play styles. The Extreme Pro - previously Tour is known as a platform racquet and with a bit of weight in the hoop can regain stability with a small decrease in manoverability

    • @RobTennisBeckenham
      @RobTennisBeckenham 2 дня назад

      @OldManMidnight I don't need to add any weight in my ezone just overgrip. I love forehand and serve but back hand and volleys are a bit meh. Although I'm more of a base liner.

      @OldManMidnight 2 дня назад

      @@RobTennisBeckenham well the 100D is a baseline machine. Just expect to lose the ability to whip top spin shots that is very accessible with the Ezone 98. The 100D has a lot of similar characteristics to the Blade - low launch, great stability in defensive blocks but lacks the Blades manovuerability

    Haven't played with one since the first version of the extreme I demoed. It was super stiff and didn't seem to have much feel. Richard Gasquet was playing with one at the time so I figured I would demo it

    Re:pro/tour/pro naming
    Originally, there were the MP and Pro. Then they added the Tour. The Pro was very different from the Tour. They discontinued it and just renamed the Tour as the Pro.

    How is it compared to the Shift?

  • @DoubleAlfa
    @DoubleAlfa 4 месяца назад +5

    Of course, I watch all the broadcasters and everyone's common conclusion for this racket is that the racket has no feeling. The opinion is that it is spin heavy and lacks power. As someone who had a similar experience with Wilson Shift. 1. I observed that the flight trajectory is high in your video. 2. It appears to create spin. 3. observed that it was not producing enough power. 4. Pop seemed enough. 5. Since you only edited his own shots in the video, his maneuverability is not visible. We don't know how to maneuver it. I wish you could provide a full rally video. Frankly, I could not find a clear answer about how suitable the racket is for whom.

      I think their trajectory is only high cause they commented on stringing the racquet gut at 60. Which in my opinion being able to keep the ball in makes the racquet looks all that much better
