Thank you. Sorry for the poor quality, I just uploaded the video and RUclips need a little time to process it in HD. Should be ready in HD quickly. Thanks again
To be honest the aircraft was quite new to me at that time and I was not fully focused on the carb heater. Now, the carb heater has to be applied at warmup/run up tests and should be activated occasionally when temp is between -5°C and +21°C. So yes, I should have done a check but at the same time I did not had any loss of manifold pressure which is the sign of ice in the carb. But yes, safety first, I should have tested it to be sure. Thanks for the comment 🙂
@@jcbcorner8464 I mean I'm not a real pilot but when I'm flying through clouds at these temps, especially when descending with power pulled back, I just give it a little carb heat and I'm safe. The carb heat on the Comanche is very powerful and all it needs is just an inch or so back on the lever to keep ice out if you're not iced up already.
Sorry guys, I just uploaded the video and YT needs some time to process it and makes it HD. Should be available in HD quickly.
Wow, thank you for this. Very nicely done!
Thanks ! 🙂
Gg!
