At 68, if I had done this at your age & looked back on this accomplishment, I’d be over the moon. Enjoy, your journey & smell the roses along the way.
I am two years older and I was thinking the same.....this is a huge accomplishment and even today I can't believe what I created....
I am 10 years older, but I still admire those who work hard and achieve their dreams.
same !!!! i so sympathize though. 9 months pregnant in a texas heat ( 1980) & our a/c went out & couldn’t sleep not only because of the heat but sooo uncomfortable in my body.
sending love 💕 to you Allie !!! ((( ✨✨big hugs ✨✨)))
I'm 3 years younger, a lady, and at 27 bought my little 1925s home, removed interior walls, added insulation, updated wiring and closed it back up, taped, painted. And at 65, I forgot to be amazed at myself! I just did what i had to. 😂❤ Trent and Ally, you should be amazed🎉
indeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to all of you mom’s out there who carried their children. We could not have done it without you.
Allie your doing great and totally get where you are with pregnancy. With my first child I was sick the whole nine months, heart burn daily it was the worst but had the best calm baby and he is 46 now and couldn't ask for a better son. Loving caring now with his own child. Second pregnancy was better but suffered the same but not the whole time daughter was also a delight now she has 3 children. I have been blessed and so are you and Trent and Big brother Leo . Have enjoyed watching you All grow and it's been fun. Hang in there momma ❤️ You got this.!!
Can't wait for the new addition sending you Big hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 to you and the whole Crew Life is good
Absolutely incredible women! We need to ensure that they continue to have choice!
Don’t forget all the dads out there who can birth children as well!
@@johnsonk1d12what? That's not actually a thing.
Well, they can certainly be a part of the delivery! Our First he delivered in the car and our second he delivered in the hospital while waiting for a dr or nurse! LOL
I am in my late 60's, & I remember walking into the market where I saw my elderly Uncle. I was SO pregnant and SO over it in the heat of late, late summer. He took one look at me, walked up and gave me a big, gentle hug and said, "It will be over soon & you'll be so happy!" I had NOT said one, single word nor was I "making a face" or anything. He just looked at me and could tell. Bless his dear, now long ago departed soul for that kind understanding❤! It really helped me in the moment.
Beautiful story. Thank you for sharing that precious moment.

@@darlenemchenry1104 I sure did! 🥹
I can't imagine EVER BEING pregnant and I'm 70. My tears flowed for your heart! Hugs
Pregnancy and construction in hot weather don’t mix
The only month I can conceive was January or February so all of my babies were born after dog days cooled off.
Only the strong survive. Can't doesn't seem to be a word in Trent and Allie's vocabulary.
Ally, sometimes the Dr's are off on the conception/due date. If he is small, he may not be as far along as your dr thinks. You are doing a fantastic job.
Baby is here! Pictures in their Instagram.
Can you imagine doing this without Grayson? Brilliant team, all of you. Well done x x
And without Auntie Jennifer aka Agaga!!!
Don't forget, Mama, you're also a superhero.
No guilt, Allie! This is your body and emotions giving you the strength and conviction to push baby boy out.
Just letting you know they had the baby a couple weeks ago, they announced it on Instagram...❤
@@Inconcvable77I had wondered at the comments congratulating them....I don't have Instagram so thank you for the update!
Im 82 and still remember the feelings you described about the end of pregnancy. This too shall pass. My sons are 62 and 44-each one a blessing. Yours will be too.
@arlow2152 Same! Thanks. This is news to me.
I'm relieved for Allie, & looking forward to seeing their new baby boy.
@@Inconcvable77This isn’t your story to tell early on this post. Some of us enjoy the anticipation as we watch each video.
We know that the baby has come before the posting of this video. I hope and pray that momma and baby are doing well. Love to all. CONGRATULATIONS!
The baby can flip by himself at the last minute. My baby’s did not move into a position for delivery until the day labor started, then they made a quick flip. So no worries
My fourth daughter was nicknamed Flipper for her antics at 10pm. Kept us guessing to the end
INDEED INDEED INDEED I saw it so many times as a therapist !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My last son did the same. Was coming “sunny side up” and flipped at the last minute.
He was already born a couple weeks ago 😊
My daughter did the same.
I realize that baby two has already made his appearance but Allie taking about turning baby reminded me of my second child birth. Two Doctors yelling at me to push and I did with all in me, no go. They left room in disgust, literally. Nurse Becky was left, holding the bag. I asked Becky if I could turn onto my left side and she said yes. The Second I turned, the baby (and yes, it's a weird feeling) did a 180 inside me and immediately came out. Bless her heart, Becky threw my right leg over her shoulder and was catching the baby, whilst Screaming DOCTOR DOCTOR! Becky was in full blown panic and to me, the expression on her face was hysterical. I laughed the baby fully into this world and blessed nurse Becky delivered and caught baby singlehandedly. Thank you nurse Becky! My moral to this is; YOUR BODY tells you what it needs, not the doctors. 😄
I could not agree more. The flat on the back position is the worst position to labor in. Natural birthing is the way to go and a squatting position is preferred. But this is not for everyone. ❤
LOVED " I laughed the baby fully into this world..."
I experien c Ed the same with my1st born, he wasn't wanting to come out even though I was in full labor. I threw my left leg, he came right out.
They really have women deliver in an unnatural position - it probably isn't helpful. What a marvelous story though, to show those doctors 🥰🥰🥰
Jen is an absolute treasure!
Seriously - she is so patient and kind.
Don't know what they would do without her!!!
thing to make you feel more grateful...elephants gestate for 22 months....so glad we are not elephants...feel better and hoping for an easy delivery
Whoa! What a thought
Trent, what you're doing has changed the face of your entire house and will make your family so much safer in the winter and summer! 🎉🎉🎉
My baby came on her due date. I was SO DONE 3 weeks before & 2 weeks before even more so! & 1 week before even more so! She came ON the exact due date and was healthy......the guilt is just being human & realizing you are "normal" & being miserable goes with being Very Pregnant! Just Praise the LORD for the healthy baby!!!
So true😂 my son's due date was June 15 but he came June 12. I will tell you that I was over it from 35weeks pregnant and was miserable til delivery day. I was so happy post emergency C-section to be done and finally have my baby
You DO have the dream team. Thanks for your candor, Allie. Many women will benefit from your honest report of your experience
Join the crowd, small is good for delivery, cry, cry, cry, it’s normal!
No judgment here! Thanks for being real folks.
Our grand-daughter was born one week ago. A week before her birth, our DiL was sent for an emergency scan as they were concerned that the baby was measuring small.. (She'd had another scan for the same reason a month earlier.). Baby was born one day after due date - weighing 9lbs!
Oh wow, isn’t that something. Let’s hope hers was a good size as well. I saw the baby but can’t recall if they showed the weight, probably not…
Told me they wanted to induce because baby might be getting too big. Awful, cord wrapped around neck. But she was 7lbs 10 so they were wrong.
Expect the unexpected .
Each pregnancy is totally unique from the previous pregnancy.
Your beautiful baby boy will be just fine coming on his own time.

My husband made a comment yesterday when we was going to get a wild bee hive that was currently in a log near our local fish hatchery. (His very first time doing this) He said "the problem with people now is they have become so lazy and have forgotten how to live and do things on their own" He's right, and we need to start doing more, learning more and get back to having more knowledge. In order to do this, we have to learn from mistakes and just keep trying. I think it's amazing how y'all went from living in a van to full blown construction and building your own home. You're learning and teaching other's.
Alley, I had our 1st baby at 24 and our last at 43 and I went through what you are going through for ALL of my pregnancies. Girl, I know those emotions too. Trusting the good LORD above that He knew exactly what he was doing when creating life is what got me through every pregnancy. I know you already had your baby, but just wanted to let you know that it's ok to feel and think this way, and remembering our blessings helps us through it.

Allie, I just had to chuckle when you were describing all the discomforts you're experiencing right now pre-birth. I'm nearly 80 and having all those same aches, pains, & heartburn. Except mine won't go away like yours will. You were describing me and all I have is a new kitten. Life is funny like that. Keep smiling....it's all good.
Me too! I was just having those same thoughts! At 62, and all of those same aches and pains...and no relief in sight. You got this Allie! 💞
If I had a hot flash I’d feel young again. Watching life in a rear view mirror is not safe while driving. Allie has her team and the time is now. Congratulations. You have arrived. 🎉

Allie, I love your authenticity and honesty. Trent and your boys are very lucky to have you. ❤❤❤
Considering this is your first working with timber, you guys did great. I'm saying a special prayer so baby can get here soon. Say hi to Mr Leo, cutie pie.
Baby is here! Pictures on their Instagram.
Allie, I was 21 when I had my son. I loved being pregnant, BUT on my due date I was so done. I walked into the hospital - and said, let's do this! A nurse asked me if I was in labor - had I had any contractions, etc. NOPE! "You guys told me today was the day, so I'm here!" I left within ten minutes. Came back to two days later and gave birth. I feel you!
That is a very funny story Sister Sherry, I had a big belly laugh!!
@@angelinajalbert3420 LOL I was young.
That's too funny. 😊❤
I loved being pregnant up to 7 months. After that I was done too…I couldn’t breathe!
Yup, I'm 80 yrs old and remember those 7+ Mos miserable pregnancy days. Be easy on yourself Allie. In reality it's worse than you are able to explain. Pregnancy is about the baby and your body is just a vessel to grow it in. The emphasis is on the baby and to heck with how badly it makes the mother feel. Thank God it ends!!!😂
I had 3 babies back when I thought 105 lbs was being fat. 2 were nearly 9 lbs and 20 inches, one is 5 ft tall, the other 5/7" tall, but my baby boy (celebrating his 55 BD this week) was 11lbs and 21" long. He had two sons, one was 21"long and now a small frame short guy, the other was 18" long and a very tall large man. Both in Army and in great health..God is good and throws us curves to strengthen our faith and curiosity.
Oh, sweet Allie, try not to worry about the baby being small. Leo was small and just look at what a bright, beautiful, active little boy, he has become--so full of personality! And of course you're tired of being pregnant- you're tired, you're hurting, and you work really hard to take care of your family! No guilt, sweet woman! Give Trent and the crew a hug and squeeze that adorable little boy---- BOTH of them! 💗
My first child barely moved, for the last month, and he was a couple of weeks late. This was in 1978, and we didn’t have all of the baby monitoring tools that exist today. When he FINALLY was born, he weighed 10 pounds, 2 ounces. He hadn’t moved much because there just wasn’t enough room. I understand feeling permanently pregnant. But, I did it again and have a lovely daughter. 😊
I had almost the same experience in 1977- baby was 10 pound 6 ounces. If only the days since had seemed so long. Those years have flown by and my best advice is to savor every moment no matter the emotions or circumstances. Be present and appreciate every miracle that comes your way.
Mine was the same 10.8 1/2 I was huge! Empathize completely
In 1998 I was 39 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and baby moved to breech presentation. Doctor turned him manually (He was an OB) and I went into labour 3 days later and he was born 10lb 9oz. The body is amazing at how we carry and deliver babies. My other 2 children were 7 pounders. My Giant baby is now 26 and 6'5
Both my boys were over 11 pounds and over 2ft long. I "slept" in the recliner for the last 5 months of the pregnancy so the chair arms supported my belly. I disliked being pregnant immensely and I voiced it on a daily basis. Allie, the tears came hot and heavy when you spoke about how uncomfortable you were.. I feel it, like it was yesterday and my oldest is 30. I wanted to just reach through that screen and hug you. Now that baby brother is here, I sure hope your body is feeling somewhat better!🤞🤞🤞
Firstly, congratulations on your beautiful new addition. We’ve been watching for years, without commenting and have so looked forward to seeing this “fully cooked” little fella!
My husband has worked with excavators for years, and offers this advice: if you use the shackles to attach the straps for the beams to the loop on the back of the bucket he thinks you’ll have way better control, and will also gain more height in your lifting. Hope that’s a helpful comment.
Sending all the best wishes from Southern Ontario Canada 🥰
Leo, and his hoodie…. Hey mama, he be stylin! Loving how he chooses his clothing! Hugs to Leo ❤.😊
The beams are magnificent! Congratulations! Many people will be driving by your home to see this stupendous deck roof when it’s complete! You’ve opened the door for others dreaming big as you have.
Allie, you are in my prayers. May these days be less painful in preparing for your healthy baby boy. My last was “over-cooked and born posterior. The recovery from that took quite some time. How I pray you wake up tomorrow feeling great.🙏🙏❤️
Oh Allie I feel so badly for you. I’m a mother of five. When I was having babies 60 years ago we didn’t have all those tests you have now. Good luck and God speed.
Ahhh...I so can relate to your thoughts, Priscilla. My eldest turns 51 this year and I watch and think how different my difficult pregnancies were without the information attainable today.

I think that the feeling of being so ready is a God given thing that happens to help you welcome the labor and delivery ahead. You are a very active person and eat well. Your body knows just the right size baby for you to grow and the scans are known for inaccurate weight estimates
Praying that your child comes soon and healthy. The house will come along just right. Trent most men wouldn't have even tried to do what you have accomplished.

Pregnancy and construction in hot weather don’t mix!
Things like roofing and siding he has to do in hot weather as it snows 9 months a year there. They don't have spring and autumn there, only a long winter and short but very hot summer.
My husband used to do business trips in Nebraska. His company headquarters was in Omaha. He said their winters are very long and very cold, but the summer was just as hot and miserable as here in Georgia, USA. there was no real spring or autumn. They wanted him to transfer there and was riding him hard, so he found another position in another company.

He will come soon! When you have the energy of the energized bunny it won't be long. Try to take some time to sleep. Skip the videos, let Jennifer watch Leol go to the other house so it's quiet...
Baby is here! Pictures on their Instagram.
Trent's hat is beginning to resemble last years Summer sombrero!
Allie...you are not alone ...my son was SGA at 4lb15oz full term..my was very ill and at high risk....hang in there...... tears are normal at this stage.....
Sending lots and lots of love to Allie❤
Allie, it must have been cathartic for you to edit this and snuggle the baby!
I was just like that.. Know you are not alone... We love you guy's.
Trent, Allie, Leo and the new baby coming, Thrilled all the posts are set!!! God bless and take care from your very long-time California subscriber 🙏 🤲
Jennifer must be so proud of Grayson. What a great job he's doing for his Uncle Trent. I adore Allie, the fun Aunt! And Trent is the cool Uncle! And Brandon stands alone as the honorary Uncle, best friend, and partner in "crime"!!
Way to go!! The beam project looks AMAZING!!! Hang in there on the pregnancy. The reward is indescribable!!!
Where the deer and the Buffalo sounds good. Lol
Poor Allie. 40 weeks is a lot in July
BEST WISHES ❤
I have four girls. One came on her due date. Two came at 37 weeks. And one came a week over her due date!! Believe me I hear, feel, and can relate to all those feelings. Those last few weeks are brutal. Hang in there Allie! You're doing great!! Hugs!
