      @@Drgautham nice info brother,few queries
In india if market moving against our sell position, then exchange or brokers ask for additional margin or cash end of the day so how it works in usa ??
How american type options exercising works? buyer or seller exercise the option during trading hours or how ? Plz explain with a example.
Can we do monthly expiries on any other indices if yes how exercising works ?
If index options exercised then is it cash settled?? What about stock options delivery obligations related to exercise?
What about tech glitches, funds safety in brokerage trading account, any issues of freak trades, and other stuff compared to indian options market.

I was just discussing with my nephew how the margin requirements in Indian markets for credit spreads is totally nonsensical. Having a margin in addition to maximum loss is plain weird 🤷🏼‍♂️ It is mathematically impossible to lose more than maximum, unless of course one closes the hedge side. But the broker should not allow someone to close out a buy side in credit call spread.

Hear i am just taking absolute risk on LRS funds( no leverage position that can cause margin calls). Sorry if im wrong but sir was saying brokerage as 60 or 70 cents per lot for options trading right which turns out to be 50 to 60 per lot and a person who punches in an order of 100 lots would have to pay 5000 to 6000 rupees right. If that's the case even after Indian Markets bombarding us with so many charges it would definitely be less than US chargee coz if we use discount brokers here charges are per order and not per lot which makes a huge huge difference. Please clarify
