There's once a hot debate on Mlynar vs. Silverash before, and boy, that was a seriously good argument. That said, Mlynar is still a powerful addition to the team(especially, Schwing Schwing team). Just remember to bring Silverash as well if you're about to deal with invisible(stealth) enemies; Mlynar is blind as a bat when going against them, powerful as he is.
Another thing to note is that his taunt also affects Aak's S3 targeting meaning that you can literally put an operator in front of Aak and he will still target Młynar

You should praise whoever is handling their news, they manage to release Mlynar's translations early this time around. Usually they are too late that my guide is already out before theirs.
I'm just so happy that Mlynar is just a very op unit since he is one of my 3 fave ops (Hellagur sadly get overshadows by most units and while Lee a very interesting gimmick and I love using him he just sadly is still pretty niche to use). I'm also so glad that he gets such love with him being an NPC in a Nearl event story. Can't wait to full POT M9 him when he's out 🥰🥰
I don’t know if you’ve heard about Hellagur’s upcoming module, but if you haven’t, there’s at least a little bright news for our favorite War Grandpa. It doesn’t quite make him “meta”, he’s still no Surtr, but at least it gives him enough of an edge to actually win duels against some of the bosses and elites that would beat him before.

That said, Mlynar is a welcome addition nonetheless; True/Pure Damage dealers are always great to have around, and we only got so many. Speaking of which..... What about Nearl the Radiant Knight? I mean, sure, you can use just about any Kazimierz Operators for that extra damage, but....
16:00 is most glorious thing I've heard in Arknights guide I've heard so far. As for Młynar, I have around 60 pulls to get him so it would be nice if he dropped. I feel he could work well with Gladiia's S2 so she would drag enemies for him to finish up. Or Dorothy to keep them stuck just a bit longer in his range.

Like a week ago I searched his first and second skill on Aceship to see what they actually do. A lot of operators have the one bread and butter skill that is used 90%+ of the time, but usually there is still some usage of their other skills especially when they are just released to see what it can do. Mlynar's S3 is so strong and his other skills are so neglected that I genuinely forgot what his other skills were. I can't remember anyone using his other skills outside of the first 2 weeks of release. One concern I have with S2 over S3 for a single target is that it is more susceptible to high defence enemies. If I kill 2 trash mobs on accident I will lose some DPS on S3, but if the enemy has 1000+ defence then Mlynar should still have significantly more DPH on S3 to outdps S2, right?

What is Fragile in EN? Weakening? Like Suzuran S3? Weakening can boost any type of damage so the true damage will increase. W only boosts physical damage, true damage is not physical damage.

Unless it's high risk Contingency Contract or the upcoming high ascension Integrated Strategies Mizuki and Caerula Arbor (both of which are optional) where every small boost matters, Potentials are not worth it. Only ones ever worth considering are Vanguards and Fast-redeploy Specialists like Bagpipe, Cantabile, Texas Alter or Yato Alter.
Oh crap, I was actually planning to add this in the script but I forgot. His P4 is notably strong due to his low base attack, it will provide around 6.5% DPS increase overall. If you include his P3, You would probably get around 9% DPS boost. I would suggest stopping at P4.
I have a question! How is his S2 extremely niche when it's the better single target skill? Is he not my first choice to burst down any boss, meaning frequent S2 use?
It is not always the better single target skill. If S3 doesn't end up killing too many stragglers, then it would still perform better or close to S2's performance.
@@JanLe82 S2 also performs much worse against high defense (2 attacks/hit), which is pretty much any enemy that you want to put your best ST skill on. Because of that, S2 struggles to do more damage than S3 when it comes to boss-killing, while being completely outperformed when you want mob-clearing. I think the only situation where you want s2 over s3 would be when you have a good sp battery, as mentioned in the video, AND there are frequent elites so S2 has something to actually swing at. Otherwise, never use it.

No, literally any ATK% buff would be horrible for Mlynar's S3 because it already has a 400% ATK boost. However, if the ones providing an ATKSPD increase is both Saileach and Ayerscape, you are better off just using Warfarin only since it is still an 18% DPS increase while you only get 18~22% DPS increase from both Saileach and Ayerscape. But if Saileach is equipped with S3, then she alone is way better than Warfarin.
@@LisaraScarlet So even Skadborn's S3 would provide notably diminishing returns due to his already massive flat atk buff from his trait doubling despite the appreciable atk scale on his S3 at the end? Not that he needs a buffer tbh. But Aak would probably be the best I guess due to the ASPD. Makes me consider Wislash as he will get her full buff for more tankiness and ASPD as he has block 3.
@@Piquliar The reason why Bard Skadi S3 is still good is because Mlynar (P2 and below) treats it as a 138% attack boost. So even if we factor in diminishing returns, it still provides around 46% DPS boost to Mlynar. Did you skim through the video? I actually mentioned Bard Skadi S3 as one of his best support.

So, Mlynar will deal additional True Damage with his S3 with the massive Physical Damage? Cuz some people said he didn't deal additional True Damage so I don't really know how that works
He does, it's just that his True Damage is much smaller relative to his Physical Damage. His damage can still be seen against enemies with shields (Rat King) or Physical evasion (in Stultifera Navis, Ideal City or Chapter 10).
It does. But it's insignificant. For comparison, on S3, the Physical Dmg hits at 3.9k dmg, and the True Dmg dealt is 290 dmg. The true dmg part only makes up around 7% of his Skill 3 total damage.
Yes, since his skill is SP per second after all, though his self attack buff will not be at full stacks right after his skill is activated as a result.
Haven't done much testing into it, but for the most part, both Silverash and Mlynar have such high attack that you won't really see a difference until you're fighting a boss.
Ah yes, a powercrept version of silver daddy in all but his ability to smack invisible enemies... great. You know why I hate this? It means the devs will powercreep enemies to keep up with Horse uncle, thereby making the game worse for everybody who doesn't have him. The more severe the powercreep, the more drastic the jump in difficulty, speeding up the power inflation of the game more tha necessry. Now, "Double Silverdaddy's burst and dmg per hit and half the sp cost strapped to a guard that has as much defense and Hp as the tankiest defenders AND also res and reflect for good measure. Edit. Oh and 12 DP cost, just for shits and giggles I guess" does sound pretty severe to me. 6k defense and 200k hp elite enemies incoming. And they'll probably hit for 3k with arts dmg too.
Mlynar easily breaks the game in half again There is even a discussion about if he is the best operator in the game or not wich speaks for it self SA got powercrept to oblivion but he has his uses am i rite?

Somehow, the Meteorite AI voice had become consistent at using british accent and doesn't generate more of the american accent one.

I have a question! How is his S2 extremely niche when it's the better single target skill? Is he not my first choice to burst down any boss, meaning frequent S2 use?
It is not always the better single target skill. If S3 doesn't end up killing too many stragglers, then it would still perform better or close to S2's performance.

@@JanLe82 S2 also performs much worse against high defense (2 attacks/hit), which is pretty much any enemy that you want to put your best ST skill on. Because of that, S2 struggles to do more damage than S3 when it comes to boss-killing, while being completely outperformed when you want mob-clearing. I think the only situation where you want s2 over s3 would be when you have a good sp battery, as mentioned in the video, AND there are frequent elites so S2 has something to actually swing at. Otherwise, never use it.

By the way, I have a question, Dreamy-Sensei, ¿do you think that the synergy between Mlynar's S3 and Warfarin's S2 would be more profitable if Mlynar's ASPD could be increased? For example, by placing it between Ayerscape and Sailech
No, literally any ATK% buff would be horrible for Mlynar's S3 because it already has a 400% ATK boost. However, if the ones providing an ATKSPD increase is both Saileach and Ayerscape, you are better off just using Warfarin only since it is still an 18% DPS increase while you only get 18~22% DPS increase from both Saileach and Ayerscape. But if Saileach is equipped with S3, then she alone is way better than Warfarin.
@@LisaraScarlet So even Skadborn's S3 would provide notably diminishing returns due to his already massive flat atk buff from his trait doubling despite the appreciable atk scale on his S3 at the end? Not that he needs a buffer tbh. But Aak would probably be the best I guess due to the ASPD. Makes me consider Wislash as he will get her full buff for more tankiness and ASPD as he has block 3.
@@Piquliar The reason why Bard Skadi S3 is still good is because Mlynar (P2 and below) treats it as a 138% attack boost. So even if we factor in diminishing returns, it still provides around 46% DPS boost to Mlynar. Did you skim through the video? I actually mentioned Bard Skadi S3 as one of his best support.

So, Mlynar will deal additional True Damage with his S3 with the massive Physical Damage? Cuz some people said he didn't deal additional True Damage so I don't really know how that works
He does, it's just that his True Damage is much smaller relative to his Physical Damage. His damage can still be seen against enemies with shields (Rat King) or Physical evasion (in Stultifera Navis, Ideal City or Chapter 10).

It does. But it's insignificant. For comparison, on S3, the Physical Dmg hits at 3.9k dmg, and the True Dmg dealt is 290 dmg.
The true dmg part only makes up around 7% of his Skill 3 total damage.
The only one who said he cant is just bunch of Mlynar or male ops haters who doesn't know how to use him and decide to skip

Yes, since his skill is SP per second after all, though his self attack buff will not be at full stacks right after his skill is activated as a result.

I wouldn't say so. Dreadnoughts just have super bulky HP but their defense is average and have no arts resistance by default.

Haven't done much testing into it, but for the most part, both Silverash and Mlynar have such high attack that you won't really see a difference until you're fighting a boss.

Ah yes, a powercrept version of silver daddy in all but his ability to smack invisible enemies... great. You know why I hate this?
It means the devs will powercreep enemies to keep up with Horse uncle, thereby making the game worse for everybody who doesn't have him. The more severe the powercreep, the more drastic the jump in difficulty, speeding up the power inflation of the game more tha necessry.
Now, "Double Silverdaddy's burst and dmg per hit and half the sp cost strapped to a guard that has as much defense and Hp as the tankiest defenders AND also res and reflect for good measure. Edit. Oh and 12 DP cost, just for shits and giggles I guess" does sound pretty severe to me. 6k defense and 200k hp elite enemies incoming. And they'll probably hit for 3k with arts dmg too.
If you actually play the game, you know there are more than just DPS lol.
