I just realized when Neck Deep is walking up the orchestra is playing "Sometimes You're The Hammer, Sometimes You're The Nail"
I was fucking laughing so hard, "The Queen of England sent us here" "We took a break from drinking tea and crumpets"
true brits there - making fun of typical england ahah
Fish and chips.
+Eren Jaeger common misconception that fish and chips are traditionally English. they are actually French
it’s funny cause they’re from wales, not england
Did the sound guy decide lead guitar and backing vocals aren't necessary?
I know that pisses me off
1:14 the awkward dad in a sea of alternative teens
Cheers to him.
SeizureSaladDressing he's a legend,
KaPowMudafuckaz WittabigSmiles SeizureSaladDressing Most people were there to see Fall Out Boy and Twenty One Pilots so it was a lot of teen and younger girls. Most people were not ready to see most of the bands they did haha.
*Young Girls.
I spotted like one dude only.
Ryan Zalewski that is a very sexist view buddy, might wanna check yourself.
They've been doing this for so many years and have had phenomenal performances. Don't judge the band by one performance.
i think it's mostly the people behind the audio tech of the arena. It wasnt the best. The Mics were very dry and Kevin's mic was so quiet.
Were the orchestra playing "sometimes your the hammer, sometimes you're the nail" at the start?
+Sam the Scarab Yes.
sounded badass
i thought that
Honestly this was the best part of the whole show
I was at the awards and I do have to say the sound was wayyy better there than the recordings
but there were a lot of mic problems too
There's just something about seeing ADTR live. It's always something special.
Being there, this was one of my favorite performances of the night.
My favorite band being introduced by my favorite band 😂😂😂
for all of you who don't understand sound, the mixing is great. you can hear every instrument. when listening to sound in the audience, and sound in a recording it is two very different things. the one mixing the live audio, hears it as you do. you can't hear every imperfection as you can in a recording. when at a live show, you don't hear these imperfections because of the acoustics, the speakers themselves, the sound technician himself, and the people absorbing so much of the sound.
I'm so pissed I missed this, the line up was incredible, and the performances were amazing!! Every act I've seen on here killed it, this better be a yearly thing.
audio technician needs to be fired.
repping my hometown! putting ocala on the map! love this band! been here since the start so happy to see them get this big! making it big out of a small town! 👍😎💪
1:09 - "you know 'em, we love 'em. give it up for a day to remember!"
next thing you see is a guy in the crowd with a face like "what? i don't know them"
They're amazing live wow
I was there!! So amazing
I keep coming back to this video to watch Ben sing along along with Jeremy ❤️
What a bunch of classy lads. They deserve all of the success they have and more
I don't remember them sounding like this. Must of been one of those nights
This is officially one of the coolest things I've ever seen
Neck Deep has gotten so big. Our babies have grown!
6:57 the kid with the blue hair is NOT havin it ha ha ha ha
lol that's green
That is a mix of Green & Blue..
Kaayla Lynne Yeah blue-green
***** It's turquoise.
***** Yeah you're right.
Absolutely loved the show! I think they sound good. It was a bummer that there were technical problems through out the show but c'mon guys. It was their first year. Cut them some slack.
Hopefully it'll be better next year other than that, great show!
This crowd surfing girl almost fell on my head and knocked me out... It was awesome!!
this band is hands down the best live performing band of 2014
My two favorite bands😍😍😍
Hey made this account just to comment on EVERY video. Where are the real fans? This band deserves more from us. What they went through to make and play the greatest music possible for themselves and their fans should be recognized and appreciated because there is no worse feeling then someone else controlling what you love. The band had not been allowed to talk about there struggle yet the hole time it has been right here for the world to see and no one will even look. Only the fans can show the world what they have done for music. Music is a right not a privilege; and "THIS IS MORE THEN JUST A PASSING TREND". SaveRockandRoll.
Jeremy's dance moves crack me up 😂
A drum to remember
I hope they play warped tour this year i saw them 2 times with blink this summer And they were amazing 😍
i was there and it sounded amazing, you just had to be there kinda thing
I have no cable xc and i cant watch the apmas
So sad :(
I love ADTR so much! But was there a problem with the sound? Kus I could barely hear Kevin like at all but I've seen other videos and they sound pretty awesome live.
Aw Ive never been more happy aw
1:14 "Who the fuck is A Day To Remember?"
Lmao it looks like Jeremy's eyebrows were shaven off
They came to Cleveland?? how did i not know these guys were a half an hour away from me?!
they dont usually sound like this wtf!
The lead guitar is not notable at all and Kevin usually does a lot of the vocals which can't be heard her - This is a damn shame everything else sounds pretty good.
The problem was AP didn't record any of these videos in a way that accurately portrays the live performances. And they had technical issues, Andy with Misfits had feedback like crazy (as a singer, one of the most nerve-wrecking things in the universe). Some performances were also just really bad. Maybe it was the monitors or lack of practice but it just didn't go down very well vocally for most artists.
They have been performing at Warped tour too. At least they did in Chicago, im not sure about other venues. But I could assume that they're burnt out from that.
Audio mixing is something a lot of people overlook. Most videos like these aren't plugged into the mixer, so you don't get things playback coming through, just the microphone so it distorts the sound.
Live TV audio usually sucks
really wish they would play dead and buried in the set a lot more.
Favorite
For big events like this youd expect them to get the sound right? Not like its performances for a MUSIC AWARD SHOW
ahh you're right, maybe just for recording
EvanMohrDrums The sound was mixed AMAZINGLY live, I was really surprised. It sounds weak in the video, but whatever.
i think maybe...just maybe...because they're playing with amps, the people watching live are also getting the amps and such, but the broadcast is only getting the miced sounds so everything sounds weakers (guitars for ex). Maaaybe.
Shorthand Phonetics Maisuke it actually sounded amazing live! i agree that the braodcast like in this video is pretty weak
what is the name of the 2nd song?
This is perfect.
P.s Alex's new haircut makes me so happy~
i wish they would play some of thwre old heavy stuff too :c
Decided to check out this neck deep band because they seem like cool dudes lol
it annoys me how Jeremy's voice sounds on all these video recordings because he is amazing live, seen him twice now and he is so good
Just to let everyone know all the bands who performed were great its the sound of the show that's affecting all of the lead singers vocals
whats the song the band played
What happened to Jeremy eyebrows?
Can you please do a live stream on the internet? I'm from Canada and I'm dying to see apma!
update: everyone is pissed from watching it.
there was a live stream someone had going. it was really shit though. plus just watch Highlights of it. its better.
haley connell what do you mean everyone's pissed from watching it?
The.Ghosts.Within He means that not that many good bands won the awards.
Ryan Zalewski That's a matter of opionion. I know bmth, ptv, and atl won and I love them
What song is this?
right back at it again.
I think during this performance the crowd was more energetic. :3
I love seeing the orchestra head banging haha so legit
wat is the first song?
City of Ocala.
saw them at warped the other day it was fucking crazy
The name of the second song please
Right back at it again.
How did they not winning anything >:(
I KNOW!
i think maybe...just maybe...because they're playing with amps, the people watching live are also getting the amps and such, but the broadcast is only getting the miced sounds so everything sounds weakers (guitars for ex). Maaaybe.
Was kevin's mic even open??
This is fucking great! ❤️
This video don't do them justice they were sooooo much better during the house party tour!
That 2 step though x)
0:09 SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE HAMMER, SOMETIMES YOU'RE THE NAIL
I like A day to remember a lot but, something about them just hasn't been the same for me. No hate on ADTR.
they're trying to push their not so hardcore songs out.
hopefully they get better equipment next year.. everyone sounds terrible when they shouldn't
I love this show and the idea to death, but they had a lot audio problems as early as SWS set. Especially with second mics. So I blame most of it on audio
That sound quality though.
That Trash Talk crewneck. siiiiiiiiick
So many people hating on the mixing... it's not that bad lmao
Jeremy looks so different with his hair like that o:
Also he lost weight :3
Nirv Hergom noticed that too.
@@nirvhergom4702 he's getting waaay lot fatter now after marriage lol
so I assume the audio engineer was sacked after this
1:17 is he someone 'special' or is the shot just there for lolz?:o
+Parker Tuinder Maybe I'm wrong, but the girl behind him, is Paige, Kevin's girlfriend. (Again, I'm not sure)
+RA182 that is not Paige
I'm not real sure why everybody's trippin on this performance, it really wasn't that bad, the sound just comes off like really distant in the video, and the back up vocal mike wasn't working...
So.. YOU'RE TELLING ME I MISSED BEN SINGING THAT PART BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING AUDIO ENGINEERI?!!. Goddamit
Best dance ever at 6:00
Sad about his mic but that was epic!
I skated with Ben :D
coolll :D
That one guy at 6:02 crowd surfing and pissing off everyone filming, good on him
Did the mixer forget that there is a bassist?
I think Ben got a little thrown off cause his mic wasn't on at the beginning. Still tore it up though.
What's up with all the mic problems?
It was whatever they recorded the show with. It wasn't picking up a lot of the performance.
i think they did good.
wow! jeremy is so tanned! it looks like he just came back from his holidays!! This increases his sex appeal a lot! *ggg*
Whoever's on the booth controlling the volume of the mics and guitars, shouldn't be given a bottle of beer
Wish I had the money to go! ADTR is awesome
Where was the "bitch"?
Where are jeremys eye brows
1:15 the dad shrugs his shoulders and basically says who the fuck are these guys 😂😂😂
no drum triggers :(
Why the microphones were so shitty in all the bands performances?
You got wrong microphone ben🤣
un festival que no se da a basto en el sonido, el segundo micrófono desconectado osea no jodan
Ive just listened to all the APMA live performances and normally all these bands are great live, i think its just the microphones were crap and the audience didnt really help...
Wow, sound mixing gone horrible wrong.. They're actually freaking great live!
mark the presentador blink
