APMAs 2016 Performance: YELLOWCARD with VIC FUENTES, BRADLEY WALDEN and EDDY BREWERTON

- Yellowcard performed four songs at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards, including “Ocean Avenue” with Pierce The Veil frontman Vic Fuentes.
They also played “Only One” with Bradley Walden of Emarosa, “Lights And Sounds” with Eddy Brewerton of Moose Blood and their new song, “Rest In Peace.”
Before their performance, Yellowcard received the Vans Off The Wall Award presented by State Champs.

I missed them at warped tour 😭😭😭😭because some stages were in the casino and some were in the parking lot and when you went into the casino you had to go back to a re-entry line to get back to the parking lot

Lol godlike, have you heard a pierce the veil song before? Pretty much every guitar part and instrumental that yellow card could think of to make an album with is all but half the entirety of one pierce the veil song.

Yellowcard were amazing for that fact that they put an instrument that was unconventional to the genre, and worked it in, making it work.
PTV, all they've ever done is literally just copy what everyone else was doing before them. For example, they're pretty much old school Escape The Fate 2.0. Nothing original in it.

+Jack Overton LMFAO trying to say yellow card is more complicated than pierce the veil . Every Band uses strings in the studio whether it be violin or some other instrument. Just because the yellow card guys bring a guy out on stage that plays violin doesn't mean shit lol
+Jack Overton also I play guitar lol and I could school you. Yellow card plays 4 chord pop punk songs that follow the same exact formula. The shit that pierce the veil puts together instrumentally is way more complicated than yellow card in a way that doesn't as much use speed but rather layered technicality. The idea that you think some one hit wonder pop punk band is on the same level as ptv is just stupid

Saw them live about 2 weeks ago and it absolute ripped my heart to shreds and I cried. I was right in the front and Josh jumped off the stage and hugged me. I'm so grateful to Yellowcard. They're the reason I'm into the alternative music scene and why I'm still alive. Thank you Yellowcard

I miss Yellowcard. 😥 I saw them a couple times on their tour with Fall Out Boy and Less Than Jake in 2003 and then once after that. Wish I could see 'em again - they were such an incredible live band!!

Saw Yellowcard at a tiny bar in Kansas City called the spitfire w/Gametime. Maybe 10 people showed up total. Was right when ocean avenue started to get air play. Couple months later they played the bigger venue, but recognized us outside and said hello. Nice guys.
