CC is an audio masterpiece. The way they introduce you to who they are and their story followed by some of their best music they have ever made with little things thrown in to make it feel more real. Like in the beginning of some times your the hammer etc, where he's mumbling trying to put words to the melody before screaming out he's got it, it was moments like that that made this my favourite album of that decade
I thought it was the middle of the road at first. It took a few years for me to realize how good it was.
Couldn’t have said it better.
Even better when realising the standard release (without the bonus tracks) starts with City of Ocala of course, with the main hook being “this is where I came from”.
The final song on the record is I Remember, with the main hook being “‘cos where I’ve been”. So the whole album starts with where they came from, and finishes with where they’ve been. Just brilliantly bookended
The music video for Right Back at It Again is so funny lol I think all their albums are good. Homesick is my favorite but I do love Common Courtesy.

Common Courtesy is a masterpiece of an album. By far their best piece of work. Homesick is great, don't get me wrong, it's got the bangers, but it's most nostalgic at this point than anything. The sound/recording/mixing/engineering on CC alone is top notch and their best sounding album to date. I love this album.

I had no idea that these two songs were connected, ive never heard such a good jump between two songs, I recommend watchin the video for right back at it again, its really crazy and fits the bands overall style.

"Same Book but Never the Same Page" from Common Courtesy is one their most underrated songs in my opinion. If you want to check out something from their new album I'd recommend "Permanent"!

This is definitely their most underrated album. It is, by far, their best. I call it a musical masterpiece. Pure modern art.
As someone who grew up in Ocala and graduated 07, I will say that there's a unique and somewhat odd pride most people from there carry with them. I had to get outta there in my early twenties but the best people and party times were in Ocala.

Yea this band is in my top 5 all time and it’s kinda like growing with a band as they do. When they released, they dropped BANGERS with heavy verses and catchy hooks and lyrics that relates to being at that age at a time…and as they’ve grown, they always seem to bring it back to earth and inspire you to be a better fucking person and to work hard and grind.
The music videos are top notch! Gotta do the whole album! I remember and end of me are my favorite

Some of my favorite bands of all time come from Ocala. Underoath and Wage War along with ADTR. Living here I'd never expect bands like this to come from here lol
Common Courtesy is most people’s last good album ADTR had put out
2 albums before this they had a song that's lyrics where "I hate this town it's so washed up" I think after leaving home and touring for so long coming home was what kept them grounded. A mate of mine is leaving our home city saying it's a shit hole and he lives by that song but something tells me when he leaves and comes back to vist this song will resonate with him more.

Ah, man, CC is what I'd consider ADTR's peak. I wouldn't say their newer stuff is bad, but they did turn away from the hardcore/post-hardcore vibes from their older stuff and I miss that. Ah well, maybe they'll bring some of that back in their next record, I can only hope. In the meantime, you need to get in on some of the heavier side of hardcore (not deathcore heavy, but you get the idea). Malevolence's track "Keep Your Distance" is a nasty banger. Make sure there isn't anything too fragile nearby, lol.
