I have flown Vietjet many times internally in Thailand and also from Thailand to Vietnam.
Vietjet have a reputation of not keeping to schedule.
I have been grilled by the girls at check in at Da Nang airport upon my departure back to Thailand and my intentions back in Thailand.
Checking in at Suvarnabhumi for a domestic flight i had to buy another ticket for my flight because i did not have my full name on my on line booking. It was a rort.
But hey. Vietjet is a budget no frills airline and you get what you pay for.
I only fly with them because i am a cheap Charlie 😂😂
Hey mate, thanks for sharing your experience. I have had a similar experience with the name on the ticket scenario. I think AirAsia might be the better choice, I much prefer flying in and out of DMK in Bangkok also.

Viet jet, have got cheap deals out of Australia to ho chi minh city. Vary from $200to $500 Aud. Direct from Brisbane in 8hours or so. Only airline with 40 kgs suitcase limit. Good if you want to buy a lot of stuff to bring back.

My gf and I flew VietJet Air about 3 months ago from DM to Chang Mai, it was ok, but wish I had known we had to pay for food on the flight beforehand so I would have had a bit more cash on me at the time!

For me the biggest issue while flying on airlines in economy is neck support....to sleep..
I have not found good neck n head support to sleep while sitting position...
Another thing is some Times air conditioner is too cold...

I have a question on the foreign currency. Why is every country dollar be it in Baht, Dong, Yen, etc. is always $1 equals $1000 in their currency. Like that sandwich being $25,000 dong. Why can’t they make their currency to a normal lower avg number. Having to do the math in the thousands is mind wrecking. lol
