Always a good day!
Haha 100%
Thank you for translating litre per kilometre to bald eagle per freedom, we don't have a clue!
J W Bald eagle per freedom...lol!
Lol! I know you guys like to see both.
YES! I read this in Kid Rock’s voice
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account?
I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Kyson Jamal instablaster :)
Enjoyed seeing you wheel the jeep! The white looks cool in the SNOW! JEEP needs to sponsor you! You're selling me on the economy diesel with every video. Lol.
Thanks for the vids!
A Jeep sponsorship would be an amazing dream come true. Thanks for the support.
He definitely should be sponsored! I just ordered a 2021 Sarge Green Rubicon Diesel after watching all Casey's videos!
Thats awesome!!
Geez! What a bummer about all the snow! I’ll take mud any day!! The squish bang looks like it’s living up to your expectations so far!! Thanks for the vid brother ✌🏼
Woooo cool video Casey. Cant wait to see the next
Thx bro! I will return!
The EcoDiesel acquitted itself quite well from the looks of it! I'd kill to be in Vancouver right about now . . . it's well over 100 degrees in Arizona and your environment looks quite refreshing. It looks like I'll be taking delivery on my EcoDiesel any day now. Keep on with the videos, especially updates on onboard compressor because I'll soon be working on my mods.
I think our normal climate is a happy medium, but the snow was to much lol. I think i am going to take the weekend off from mods and get cracking on the on board air next weekend.
Looks like a fun time. That thing looks like it does well
Thx bro. It was. Can't wait to return!
Oh, how worlds collide when you start Jeeping (again) and talk with people. Whipsaw Trail just came up in a discussion with Troy from Graphic Enterprises (Vernon, B.C.) who suggested it would be amazing for us to explore. It looks BOMBER!
Do it!
Another incredible video. Amazing terrain and fantastic footage. Thank you
Awesome footage, my favorite off road channel hands down!
Thank you. I appreciate the comment and support!
Love it as always! Love the collab content with you and Shaun.
There will be more.
I love how Canadians quarantine.
No quarentine here in BC 👊
@@Casey250 I'm moving to BC now...hmmm, now how to get across the border?
Getting snowed out of a trail is always a little disappointing. Especially early or late in the season when you've been optimistically hoping there wouldn't be snow.
Ya it was disappointing but we had a blast still. Ill be back.
Nice to see the jeep seeing some action, also great editing mate the intro looked lit
Thx! I put a lot of time into this edit.
@@Casey250 it shows the dedication, if this is how you start in a year you'll be dropping some serious content mate, cheers.
Awesome video, thank you
Thanks for watching!
My wife and I were so impressed with your Eco-diesel JLUR and your videos, that I got her to trade her 2010 JKUR in for a 2020 JLUR Eco-diesel to go with my 2019 JLUR 3.6L gas. Keep up the great videos Casey.
Uh oh. Sounds like I cost you money haha. I absolutely love the diesel so far.
Money well spent. She absolutely loves the power, mileage and how quiet it is for a diesel. Had to keep reminding her to only put the green handle fuel in it. Lol
😄😄😄
Love the sound of the diesel! Any update on skid plates?
Casey, when I get my overland rig completed I’m really stoked about traveling through Canada, I’m in the US. Would love to see a video where you talk about the differences between overlanding between the US and Canada. Things like BLM land, rules/laws and the differences between our two countries, park permits, where you can primitive camp, etc etc etc. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find anything out there about similarities and differences in overlanding between the two countries. Thanks!!
I am by no means an expert on overlanding and every province, just like states will have wildly different rules.
Lmao was just watching Shaun's videos and saw you go "are you blogging?" Now I see him doing it to you😂 cool rig man, just subscribed
Ya its been happening a lot in our vlogs lol
Great job Casey. I'll be heading there in September and I can't wait to run that trail.
Youll enjoy it.
You guys fuelled up THERE!? For future reference ...You should have gone straight into Princeton ... not very far ... and would have gotten it waaaay cheaper. ... and snow on the Whipsaw in June is pretty common.... now for a little did you know. Dicks Cabin has that weird split level thing on it. Looks like a giant chimney. Well that's how you get in, in the winter. The snow gets so deep, you have to go in through the roof.
Weird: just watched Jeep vids from an Arizona trail in 105 deg F heat, California in upper 70's F & you in deep snow. CA is sounding pretty good 😜
Ya i couldn't believe the snow there! Its a nice mid 60s back here on the island.
Ohhh Vancouver Island. Really nice place but wouldn’t want to live there unless ...poorly studied tectonic forces at play there. Hope that thing floats.
Woo hooo, the moment I’ve been waiting for🔥 There needs to be a Jeep Emoji.
🚙 lol
Hahah. Wicked
Exciting! How was sleeping in the Jeep? You has a sleeping bag I take it? You should do a video short of your standard sleeping setup in the Diesel. :P
It was just enough room with the passenger seat pushed up. Im 6' 2" haha. Sleeping bag and a camping inflatable foam mattress.
Nice, haha. I'm 6'5" :D
Awesome video mate, hope I can take my Jeep to the snow one day
Thx bro! Lots of snow around here when you make it up this way.
Casey 250 one day, looking at doing something soon
Epic! 🤠
Yeaaaah budddy. Looking forward to Mondays upload!!
The way Shaun packs, Im thinking I can carry more in my TJ! Lol. I know I wish. Tj’s are tiny. I miss my JK for the room. The 6sp cant compete with how the 8sp improves the power and fuel milage of even the the gas engines. That diesel has been impressive with still getting great numbers with 37’s and stock gears.
Haha. Everything just gets fired into his Gladiator. The fuel economy is awesome so far.
Funner if you take your top down😉👍. Them Jeeps were ment for open air 🥰👍
I did that in my JK once and ended up having to pressure wash the entire interior out.
@@Casey250 yap that's all part of the fun 🤣👍or you can always wait tell it rains 😉👍
Lol
Awesome Casey. How is the lift holding up? I took mine out this weekend and bottomed out on a rock, luckily I have the rock rails. I really want to put one on but want to make sure it's going to hold up.
So far so good and no issues after adding 1inch of spacing to the front.
Great video and Trail looks fun. Been trying to plan a trip up there for 2 years and it WAS supposed to start next week until covid took care of that. The Jeep looks great and can’t wait to see all of the mods. When you hit the first exhaust system regeneration process let us know as on my diesel grand Cherokee it always kicks in at the worst time. One time I had no choice but to stop before it finished and it fouled the sensor so I hope they have done some changes. I really want to trade in 2.0 for diesel based on what I see in yours and other videos. Keep up the great content
Thanks! I am curious about the first regen.. I wonder if it will happen before I just delete it hahah
Bro your tires are wiggling 😄😄😄6:30
Snow in late June, cheers!
Ya it was not what I was expecting lol
I love those grey rims
Thanks.
Is there a video about your tires and that air down system?
yep. a few videos back
Gladiator is beastly...
Ya it is!
😎👍
Great video - glad you're digging it. Thanks for the fuel economy info. How does that translate into range? Out in the wilderness, I'd think the extra range would be most appreciated!
I after all that wheelin, I drove 3hrs home to the island and still haven't filled up. I barely used 1/8th tank and I think Shaun was below 1/4. But he was breaking more trail with his rig.
@@Casey250 Nice - Viva la Diesel!
Wow awesome 👏
Thanks!!
The JK and JT both had roof top tents as well. That will drag down your fuel economy.
Probably a bit ya. The diesel is no joke though. I was riding it hard and up hill through mountain passes and it had so much more to give if needed.
Note to self --- do the Whipsaw trail in the fall!
Ya. Needs a little more time to thaw after this wet spring.
Ready to come play in the east koots?
Great Outing 👍 ....So I’ve got to ask... Do you know the DDE Boys ? 🤔
I see Damon driving around, he lives in this same area of town. I know Dave, trying to get him to take the G wagon wheeling 🤔
Casey 250 ... That would be Awesome ! Dave seems like a Super Cool Guy 😃
Casey, what are your thoughts on the diesel’s cold weather performance? What Temp would you have to worry about it reliability starting as far as extreme cold. I’m seriously considering buying one of these but I’ll be going to quite a few high elevation, cold places. Thanks man!!!
It does have a block heater if it gets really cold. I imagine it would suffer similar diesel gelling issues any diesel would. It never gets cold enough here in Victoria to be concerned.
Epic Man !
For sure!
Have you tried or had any experience with using the Offroad+ modes while wheeling? I just traded my 16 JK for a 21 JLURD and am curious how it does. Sounds like the crawl mode was useful.
I do not have offroad+ on my 2020.
Looks fun
Totally was.
What year is your buddy's jeep and what exhaust is he running sounds good?
I think the JK is a 2016. Not sure his exhaust he has.
Did you modify the exhaust or is that the stock sound of the eco diesel?
It is stock in this video.
Casey 250 it sounds awesome! Had a ram 3500 with a Cummins....love the sound of yours in the shot backing in!💪😎
@@jimmierpadgettjr Thanks - I absolutely love driving it around.
How often do you Encounter bears or coyotes when camping on these trails ? What’s the experience like ?
Lots if bears around. It wouldn't be out of place to see one.
Cool
Thx
Do you guys ever use chains on your tires for extra traction ?
I don't personally own chains but others do. Typically if the snow needs chains, its probably hanging up my axle as well as its deep and id rather not wheel in it.
How far up did u make it. Was it only the 5ish km u said in the video
Ya just to dicks cabin thats in the video and turned around.
@@Casey250 nice. Ill be doing that trip in August. Hopefully I'll have my long arm kit by then
Casey 250 dicks cabin sounds like a place I’d never wanna go
Bahahahaha
im surprised you guys dont carry or use snow chains
We would sunk and bottom out axles. We had to do a lot of floating on top of the snow.
Why not use snow chains..they make both metal chain and like a plastic version
Certainly a possibility if the trip was based around snow.. it is june and was a bit surprising that there was much still.
I found a eco in Oregon 🤦♂️. $72k 🤯 insane
Wowzers. They are in short supply with the halt on them coming from Italy.
@@Casey250 yeah must be, I was thinking of trading in my Jeep but $72k is WAY out of my budget :| Dealers around here are also high and can list cars/trucks/Jeeps for nearly whatever they want and most people will pay it. the more Rare the car the more they will do it
Why did you film the Toyota !
Yay, First..
👊👊👊
Is shawn regeared ? 30% better fuel economy is impressive
Stock 4.10s
Casey 250 I’ve got several friends at 4.88 or 5.13 on JTs and they get anywhere from 16-19 on the highway. I imagine if you went to 4.10 you’d run about 24-25 on the same journey. It’s no Prius but that’s unbelievable for a Jeep on 37s
I should also of noted, this was traveling mostly uphill into the mountains so fuel econ was worse then typical.
Casey 250 I am so excited for the diesel jt to be released
minute 6:36 for a moment I thought your tire would fall off the axle
Haha. Its good :)
I'm disappointed! You're in wet snow and did not try make a snowman?🤣🤣🤣🤣
Impressive mileage mileage the Ecodiesel is getting, especially considering the lift and bigger tires.
More impressive is the way that diesel torque lets you go all McConaughey on that snow and just idle along.
Alright,
Alright, Alright.
Lol
good times. Looks like it pulled with little effort
The diesel is a beast. And really good in fuel.
Daddy going be pissed
Oh ya?
Casey 250 I hope you got permission to take his Jeep person man
Wtf? 🤣
The Story Till Now He just flexing daddy’s stuff
@@realrickharrison3103 Would love to hear how you came to this completely random concluson.
