[UPDATE] Solid Door with Rim Deadlocks

This is a follow up on the video I filmed of my new solid door with some jimmy proof deadlocks installed. In this video I have updated the door security on both the hinge and latching side of the door jamb and slam plates. I have added an unevenly placed hinge in between the upper and middle hinge. I did this so my door could securely hang with the commercial door closer. The hinge also uses 3-inch screws that go into the wood holding the jamb and the door to the frame securely.
The other thing I did was replace 3/4-inch screws in the slam plates (strike plates) with long 3-inch screws for the same purpose.

I added a jimmy proof deadlock on the lower part of the door. So when someone kicks the door. The force will be distributed throughout the jamb system.
This also apples for the one at the upper part of the door.
And as usual, I always have means to escape through the jack-n-Jill bathroom door in my bedroom. I have a special lock that will ALWAYS remain unlocked from inside for emergency egress. But the outside can be locked by pushing and turning the thumb turn on the lever.
