Making a guess right now, the higher ups (particularly the group from the phone call in the ARG) decided to do this to Harely after the theatre incident, considering what they've done they can't exactly just FIRE him, so they had to do something else. Not sure if they actually intended for him to be of actual use, or were hoping to stunt his intelligence and make him obedient like the other bigger bodies, (considering memory loss is a pretty common factor they could have been hoping for it) but it clearly backfired. Now the other question I have, if he has control over the cameras just in the prison, or has he been watching you this whole time...

Considering what we know about prototypes laser pointer skills which was more than 10 years ago, prototypes tech abilities could be unimaginable and Harvey's body could be one of the feats achieved directly by the prototype himslef
The thing behind the hand kinda looks like a shield with a stylized version of Poppy on it. I am loving that Harley is gonna be a super great villain now that he's controlling all the cameras and maybe some of the electronics.

There's so many moving parts and obstacles that I'm wondering who the real antagonist is. Is it Poppy, seeking revenge with something linked to a past evil with Elliot Ludwig and willing to drop the protagonist at a moment's notice. Is it the prototype, building strength and cannibalizing the toys to get back up to the surface or defend themselves from the wrath of the other toys. Or is it Sawyer who's playing both sides to slowly build himself up and take it all for himself.
Honestly I feel like the prototype and the doctor are connected somehow like if you look at the doctors right arm the hand is missing so does that mean the prototype is actually the doctors hand and it would make sense of why the prototype takes the dead body’s of cat nap and mommy long legs and bunzo to create like a big monster like the blob from fnaf to make a all powerful monster for us the player to take down
But the question is why Sawyer became this either he willingly turned himself into this or the higher ups killed him and turned him into what he is due to how valuable his genius is
