Shiny Feebas in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond after 1,656 FE’s and evolution into Milotic BDSP

What a fucking shiny am I right?!?!
Anyway I forgot to bring up certain tips during this hunt
1. When I say first 2 lottery numbers, I don’t mean the first 2 digits but the 2 full numbers of each day in the lottery draw, for example: 90456 and 57244. You’d put the more recent date second and the olde one first
2. Have either a Pokémon with no guard OR illuminate leading your party and use either a good or super rod, NOT an old rod. Doing this will give you a guarantee fish each time you throw it in. I did a good rod because I don’t want another shiny Gyarados lol.
3. You could also evolve Feebas by trading it while holding a prism scale. However the only way to obtain a prism scale is by digging in the underground and that could take FOREVER!!!! I have done a ton of digging sessions since the national Dex and never once came across it, even though I wasn’t looking for it, it’s an incredibly rare find so I’d just recommend doing the poffin method.
I also forgot to mention I currently have 541 SR’s on roaming Mesprit so that was also part of the drought. There’s a ton of legendary Pokémon that I want 😭😭

Do you always have to defeat them or catch them or you could run away from each encounter as long as the chain is going. Also is there a way to fish more quickly instead of pressing plus’s and a direction on the analogue stick

You can run away after each encounter. As for the best way to fish, have a Pokémon with the ability illuminate (like chinchou or staryu) and it is a guaranteed bite every time you cast the rod

I’ve now gotten a shiny Barboach by doing this, the grind still continues to encounter a shiny Feebas though.

@@DebiohTBT yeah the grind can be tough, I got lucky doing only 1 phase, are you using a super or good rod? But congrats on the shiny barboach though, it’s an awesome find!
