Bishop Barron, the baton was passed on to you from Bishop Sheen....thank God for continuity of the word.
Yes!!
Bible beaters are best.
One must be insanely arrogant to suggest knowing something of a God. It is by boldness, Moses became the world's worst navigator, by having one foot in some fantasyland. There is a fine line between fishing & standing on the shore, looking like an idiot. Fail to get the Jews to buy it for 2000 years & they should know who their Messiah is. Jesus is a fake, to immortalize the war against the Jews. Jesus Christ is crucified for all time in literature & the subjects of Rome are illiterate. Freud wrote, "The antidote to Christianity is literacy" & the joke is in the scriptures. "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" Galatians 3:13
An improvement on your God & faith; would outlaw indoctrination & abuse of the vocabulary of fiction on children.
Dear Bishop Barron,
What you share in your homilies is what comes from the inner caverns of your heart! Thank you for the wisdom and depth with which you speak. Fr. Alex Rebello (80 years)

Your presence is sincerely appreciated. God bless🙏
Who is George? Please list some of those things.
I loved this! This is just one of those teachings that will stick with me.

There's really good info on Google about late Francis Cardinal George of Chicago, Illinois. You might want to look up.
Good Morning, afternoon and evening Sons and Daughters of Christ. ❤
Hello! from New Zealand
I’ve been struggling the past couple of weeks deciding what I want to study at uni and I’ve been feeling quite drawn to teaching specifically religious education. After watching this I’m going to pursue it. The ability to give kids the catechesis that I never got despite going to a Catholic school would be beyond rewarding.
Update: I’m officially enrolled, start in July!
Great! 🌟
God bless n congrats and HE will guide you and help to access your dreams 🙏🏽🙏🏽💐
I loved this, especially Bishop Barron's humor. It's always lovely to see his more spontaneous self shine through.
Thank you so much Bishop Robert Barron.
What a MASTERCLASS in Manifesting 🎉❤
Thank you so much what you do Bishop Barron, you have enlightened my life.
Jesus is in the core of my soul and life and after my near death experience, religion and faith is the only thing that kept me going.
Everyday I wake up with biggest gratitude towards being on this planet and your words of wisdom and in-depth analytical explanations and explorations of the bible scriptures are a true blessing.
Let’s us share the love of Christ, the love of Christianity. My mission is to become a True Evangelist combining having in depth life experience of spiritual, psychological journey!
I believe there is a divine order created by God.
Thank you Bishop Barron. All glory to God, but thank you for your efforts to study, prepare, and present your thoughts, thank you again.
I thought of the Catholic church as an archaic institution muddled with controversies. When my Baptist friend became a Catholic, I was like "What were you thinking." I am a Methodist. But you are changing my impressions of the Church.
Thank you so much Bishop Barron. Great message on the more we give away, the more graces we get to give even more, the pattern continues, amen 🙏
Thank you Bishop Barron.
Wonderful message Blessings!
Bishop Barron: The good Bishop
So grateful to you dear Bishop Barron. Very insightful.. thank you for the wisdom
Oh Bishop Barron! There is so much to reflect on each sentence you give to us! Which one is the best to reflect on and pray today? Thank
You for starting my day this way and for giving me tools to continue growing. May the Lord continue giving you wisdom! 🙏😊
@Bishop_RobertB_Barron Oh Bishop, it would be great if you keep my grownup children in your prayers. Monica and William. They, as many young adults need our prayers so they may accept back in their lives, our Lord.Thank you!🙏
Muchas gracias Monseñor Barron desde Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷
Bendiciones
Thank you Bishop Barron.
Teacher and Preacher ✝️
Wow !!!!! Absolutely speechless. So so beautiful.
Bishop Barron….
“MAGNIFICENT”!!!
🙏👑🙏!
Creative Intelligence: another Beautiful Name that describes God. There's a line in one of my favorite choir songs: "Long before the Mountains came to be, and the stars were in the sky, You have Always Been..." I am so grateful for the homilies and speeches that you offer to the public, because you keep my soul focused on My Savior. Thank you, Bishop Barron.
Yup!
BISHOP BARON❤: “Lady’s and gentlemen, while I really appreciate the accolades and eulogium but applause at the sacrifice of the mass is ALWAYS ill-advised because NEVER would want to risk detracting from all the glory, honour, reverence, homage, veneration, extolment, laudation, adulation, praise, adoration, commendation, recognition, approval, salutation, ovation, tribute and praise due ONLY to our Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone and for His sacrifice on the Cross of Salvation to God the Father in union with the Holy Spirit. Thank you. May the good Lord richly bless you and yours. Amen 🙏🏾💐❤️⭐️
I appreciate your concern, but maybe you”te being too restricted, too rigid. Please, don’t take wrong, as I’ve just said: I appreciate your concern. Just remember these applauses were made in the spirit of happines, on account of hearing a Bishop of Jesus Christ preaching the Word of God. They were, intimately happy in the Holy Spirit. A pure and joyful happines to worship the word of God. That said, I appreciate your concern. It was a good advice. God bless you
I receive this richest blessing in the name of Jesus
What was said by God through you struck a cord with us/them and lifted us enough to respond in this way to express our joy at hearing His word so well stated. I thank God for you and the way you make Him so understandable.
Thank you Bishop Barron, God bless you ✝️
God has sent great ones into our time here and now to help us 🥳🤗☺️❤️
Thank you Bishop Barron!🙏
It was through the sciences that I came to recognize the very fact that there MUST be a Creator of all things.
Bravvvvoooo 👏👏👏👏
But one needs to account for all of creation. The same god who created infants, kittens and puppies also created leprosy, smallpox and bubonic plague.
@@user-ug2hk3go6ior maybe those things are just a result of a fallen world? Yes God allows disease, sickness, pain and all types of suffering, but maybe there is a reason?
@@vinb2707 The idea of divine punishment is often offered. This seems a powerful contradiction to divine love and perhaps a sidestep to an answer. Bitheism, though not part of a Christian world view, is a possibility worth considering. The disease and suffering in the world may also suggest a world without divine creation or oversite.
是的,一切荣耀归我主。
Thank you, Bishop Barron. 🙏❤️
Grateful for your words of wisdom❤
So good. Your comment about giving away grace could also be summed up as “you can’t out-give God”.
🚪 I LIKE SCIENCE ESPECIALLY SINCE I DO IT EVERY DAY, I get more❤️.
Bishop Barron is a great teacher.

"The heavens proclaim the Glory of God..."
Somehow I kept thinking about Jesus Christ's suffering. Jesus as fully God knew the glory of God but in His human nature He suffered so much in our hands. Imagine Jesus looked at His mother and saw her in pain. Happy and sad.
Thank you Bishop Baron
I never tire of listening to Pope Thomas, sorry Bsp Barrron😜😜😜😜, talk about God😇😇😇Thanks, Holy man of God✝
i think this amazing man should be the next pope
The moral argument always is the best approach to the young. Especially on College campuses.
A moral order would exist even without a god.
@@user-ug2hk3go6iwhere do they come from
Glory of God proclaimed in last week's eclipse. Eclipses are predictable.
Sure i had much pain as i can't walk much as posible i gave all mine to Jesús Christ and He must do whatever He LOVES for his purposes cause i'm off their little species
Pretty sure my favourite line is “radical intelligibility of the world “. Blows my mind , no adjectives for Him , none , zero, nada. Speechless over our Creator.
Bishop. The connection was the call to young people to begin to take true religion seirously. Then the part on grace was a taste of what true religion really looks like.
See on all levels, in the heavens and all physical relaity, on morality and then on the spiritual life lived out, that God is good and all things sing to the Glory of Gods Loving Goodness.
🙏❤Beautiful

The same God who called Bishop from a priest can and will call him to the office of cardinal, and God knows may be a future oofice of papacy.Above all, what he's doing is more and enough for the kingdom

I haven't heard someone say "fuddy duddy" in over 20 years 🙂
It’s weird to be more excited about what the Bishop is going to say than any of the movies and shows out. But 2024 isn’t all bad I guess.
Nice thought.
I live in the Middle East. Can someone help me financially a little bit? God bless you all and happy Easter.

Viewers interested in the science/religion question may find lectures by Lawerence Principi very interesting. Some will be found on YT, or a collection of 12 recorded lectures offered by The Teaching company.
This might seem an unusual question but I love the iconography behind the bishop and would like to know where this is and/or who the artist is. Does anyone know?
How do I give away what I want to hang on to, without being indifferent, apathetic?

Please visit our military bases in Japan, Sasebo for starters.
Jesús Christ is My everythings all mine is his as all his is mine so i'm plenty friend of all Saint Celestial Court and the completely Glory reigning now since Heaven so i don't need talk they knew me as much and to all here
How am I, a married man with a wife and a child on the way, supposed to live this way? I don't make all that much money and what I get, I need to try and make a household and provide for my loved ones. I can't just give that stuff away, it would be unconscionable.
You raise a valid question. I think it might be that your Godly duty is to provide for and protect your family. God would not wish you to give those things away or neglect them. But whatever extra you can spare of your time, money, grace, then give it away. But remember, supporting your family IS giving. St Joseph may be a good role model here.
Your are totally missing the point,
My brother in Christ you're already living that life by having kids and providing for your family.
That’s a debate that the early Church had quite a lot. The original 12 disciples were all unattached unmarried men so it made sense for them to leave their families of origin to follow Jesus and to live communally. It also makes sense for people called to religious life as a brother, a nun or a priest to do that. If your calling is marriage, there are instructions in the Bible for you for how to treat your wife and children and run your home.
@margaretsteves8122 Then please, explain.
TELL ME BISHOP WHEN IS THE CURCH GOING TO GIVE IT'S TREASURES AWAY AND HOUSE AND FEED THE PEOPLE? SO WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR GIFTS TO THE PEOPLE SO WILL WE.
The Catholic Church is one of the largest charity organizations in the world. Donating billions. From the day the holy spirit came down, in the Acts of the Apostles, Catholics have been pooling their money together to help the poor. It's the very first thing the church did when it began 😊❤
SO i Lost My life ever
Give you gifts away and money to church and priests and they will give to themselfs only then
Why don't you get a priest job position so that you can have all the money from the church to satisfy you?
Give what away? Grace? I don’t understand, I am trying, but I still don’t get it. It can’t be material things - on a superficial level of course - give my life away to serve others because my life isn’t mine? Is that what you are meaning to convey here???
SSPx
The Catholic Church can't come in and complain when they teach the sciences in their schools without relating them to spirituality while doing so. When you teach arithmetic, teach number theory. When you teach geometry, teach ancient commentary on the Soul. When you teach music, teach it also in relation to the spheres.
Enough with theological mashups. There's been 100 years to affect change in Catholic education. Senior leaders need to stop pointing to the 'ignorant masses' and start pointing to ourselves.
Whole world is contingent i know.
But that's just philosophy
Thats impossible that it’s just philosophy.
@@anneturner2759bcz it's not possible for world to be purely chaotic ?
So its science
@@Abc-rx6tj Now go to historical Jesus.
8:47 The only things we will have in heaven are the things we gave away on earth.
I disagree. 1 Cor 2:9 says that we will have things in heaven that no one on earth has imagined. Heaven's glory is beyond the greatest things that any human mind has imagined.
Very important sermon BUT: what would you say about the billionaires and oligarchs of the world who hoard their wealth while a majority of a country is struggling. The millionaires and billionaires are NOT struggling at all and they always seem to get their 'more# without giving anything away!!!! What you have said sounds nice, but the educated demand answers to questions like these. Feel good emotional talks need to be held up to higher scrutiny.
This is a great homily. I only regret the references the bishop makes to the young people as if they are all the same and different from the youth of other times including the youth when the bishop was young. Also many ideas attributed to the young people are at least two centuries or more old. I suggest that the bishop does not do that type of thing. The young people can see through the many catholic leaders and clerics. This approach does not earn converts among the young. I just hope it is not used to help with fund raising.
Blood xy abo
Please don’t encourage applause in the liturgy. It’s a sure sign you have failed.
it was a event
it doesn’t seem to be in a mass but at an event
?
@@Starwarp02why is he in his liturgical vestments if it is just an event? He gave his keynote speech at this conference in his ordinary clerical attire, so this certainly seems to be in the context of the Sacred Liturgy.
How so? What if people are so moved and motivated to applaud the homily? Homilies can be good by rebuking, but not all homilies are meant for rebuking. Encouragement is also a key of homilies.
The sciences do not 'prove the truth of religion', I wish they did but they don't and are a long way from doing that.
The only way science could prove religion is by measuring spirit, which is currently impossible.
