Not just with their vocals but with their heart and you could feel it and that's what music is meant to do is evoke emotion in the listener.

Honestly I prefer Team Denim. Everytime when I hear some white high school musical kids singing, it sounds upbeat but completely lacks heart and feels superficial. When I hear the other team, I can feel the passion and soul in their voices. Sorry high school musical, but this singing battle was decided as soon as it started

The college choir on the left seemed to have a lower, muted, polyphonic sound; tight, perky harmonies on the right; great soloists on both sides. The left side captured the wistfulness of the joy of love a little too late in life.
The team on the right were nice - very technical and on point - better rehearsed...but the team on the left got the feel of the song more - and sang with soul. Can't rehearse that. That's why they won
